I love the Sunday brunch, so sad to see them closer location in downtown Nashville. Franklin location was a little unique, and a nice addition to that part of town. Fortunately I’ve been told the closest location as well as they’re focusing more on the catering business

I do love the Copper Kettle. I heard they might sell this location, anyone else? I hope not because it’s so easy for me to drive there for a quick lunch. I’ve also used them several times for catering and highly recommend it. They put together a great menu, the food is great, it is ALWAYS warm, they bring all the utensils, and they arrive on time. Some of my favorite meals here include Shepherd’s Pie and the Coconut Chicken. I also really love the cheese grits and the strawberry/walnut salad.

Amazing Sunday brunch. Can we give six stars cuz of the value? Chef did an awesome omelet with salmon, covered in apples and bacon. Will come back again for sure!!!

Mmmm Sunday brunch. One of my favorite meals in the whole world, and Copper Kettle offers a fantastic brunch buffet on Sundays ONLY. For $ 17.25 you can stuff your face with cold salads, your typical breakfast fare(bacon, eggs, biscuits, gravy) as well as carved meats, omelets, and desserts. They also had a special omelet and waffle of the day that was out of this world. Yum! The other items were rather hit or miss on the buffet line, and it’s quite tight in there to get in and out of line. We came during the end of brunch and had no problem, but I could see it being an issue quite quickly with a bigger crowd. I love this location with the views of downtown and a very nice patio dining area. However, the awning that did cover the porch blew away and they have been unable to replace it. So beware if you are sitting outside on a sunny day as it can be hot even if it’s pretty out temperature wise. Our waiter was very nice and personable. I have two complaints that made me not blown away by my experience, the coffee was incredibly weak and nothing on the buffet line was labeled. I wish that they would list what we were enjoying; especially for people who may have dietary restrictions.

Sunday brunch here is off the hook. At $ 16.50 per person it is well worth the price but get there early cause the place is small and fills up fast. The service was excellent and friendly. If you leave this place hungry it your fault cause the variety is abundant. I have read several bad review on here and realized that the sister store downtown has a great view of the city but bad service and food. I would urge those of you who have written bad reviews to try the original copper kettle over by Green hills. Have never had a bad meal here.

This was at the top of my list to eat at in Nashville. building is nice, view from the deck is great unfortunately everything else was horrible. We came for brunch. The highlights were having to wait outside even though there were empty tables. Sat us on the deck in the direct sun above the trash cans(plenty of other tables in the shade). ignored us for 20 minutes, no water, nothing. Got up to leave and then bang the guy that has been walking by ignoring us wants to wait on us. Food is bland and i mean tasteless on top of that no salt on the table. Asked for salt never came. Eggs Benedict was shameful. Whoever cooked it should stop cooking and go do ANYTHING else. prime rib was sliced so thin i could have read the paper through it and was refrigerator cold. While eating my «cold cut» i watch plate after plate go by with prime rib an inch think and steaming. Bloody Mary is some tomato juice and garnish with no evidence of vodka. I completely finished the meal before we see the waiter again and finally get a glass of water. I order the«special» pulled pork omelet. came swimming in grease water empty and no hope for a refill and sitting in 80 degree + sun. I left ill, headed to the closest gas station and bought some TUM’s and water. JUSTHORRIBLE!

We were in town for the weekend and decided to try their Sunday brunch… all I can say is… meh. I love their building… they have a great view of downtown and the stadium. The service could not be beat… our server was friendly, helpful, and even when it got crazy, very efficient. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing, especially for a «foodie» town. Even though we arrived 5 minutes before they opened, there was already a long line outside. When we finally got inside, we were very excited… the vibe is really neat. But even though they had just opened and had just brought out the food, it was uniformly lukewarm to cold. Their version of Eggs Benedict was criminal… the yolks were hardboiled, and the croissants they were placed on were soggy. And they were cold! Have you ever had cold Hollandaise? Ugh. I don’t know if they baked their own muffins and pastries… all I know is they looked and tasted as if they came from Costco(too uniform for their own good)…does anybody know if this is true? The salads all seemed to be swimming in watery dressing/mayonaisse. The roast beef was OK… pretty standard buffet quality. The specials were really the worst of the lot, though. The omelette was with steak, tomatillo salsa, and jalapeño hummus. It didn’t taste all that weird, in fact it dadn’t taste of anything… there was no salt in it and it was so bland. It was not helped out by the fact that the tomatillo salsa was watery and diluted the already bland flavors. At least this was edible. The Belgian waffle special, a «dreamsicle» with orange and cream flavoring, was not edible… it was still raw! I’m surprised they could even get it out of the waffle iron… it was so raw, it was still sticky on the outside. Come on… you just opened… how difficult is it to brown the damned waffle? For a nice brunch, it was not too expensive… about $ 18 a head. However, I would have gladly paid double for better food.

I am confused after reading most of the posts. I think the food is sub par for the price. I have tried several times. After each try I had to remind myself that I have yet to find something that I think is good. Why did I go back you ask? Someone keeps giving me gift cards. I have told them to stop because of the food quality. The one thing that they do have is a great patio /view when eating the sub par food. If I could give a ½ star I would because to me that is the best that I could give them.

Located upon the hill of SoBro overlooking the great city of Nashville, you’ll find a well-loved meat and three called the Copper Kettle. Sitting all by its lonesome, you’ll be happy to find comfort and comfortableness. As an event guru, I have had the pleasure of working many events(wedding receptions, parties, networking) that were catered by the Copper Kettle. Not only have I been consistently impressed with their delicious offerings, I have been similarly charmed by their staff. This review, holds true to this testament. This past Sunday morning, we decided to head on over for their brunch. Arriving at 10:30 am, we were lucky to get one of the last shaded patio table that provides a panorama from East Nashville — Titans Stadium — the Expanse of downtown and melts into the new convention center. We did overhear that they do not have awnings or umbrellas because the storms continue to tear them down. So, if you plan on sitting outside, bring some SPF and a wear a brimmed hat. Let’s talk shop. Although they have a buffet, you can also order a custom made omelet and/or waffle. These are not on the buffet. This time we went, the omelet was a brisket, roasted red peer and Gouda marriage. I had never thought of brisket as an omelet companion. The softness of the brisket with the delicateness of the egg and the tying together with the Gouda was surprising and amazing. You can make-your-own also. What was the waffle? They had me at brisket; so, I stopped listening and started licking my lips. The buffet has sweets(Krispy Kreme donuts included), muffins, cakes, pies, fresh fruit and other baked goodies. The cooler has salmon, pasta salad, bean salad, potato salad, other similar salads and a lot of different cheeses. There was a hot bar with cheesy potatoes(YES!), eggs Benedict, biscuits, ham and beef that is cut per order, two different roasted veggies and more. Then, there is another selection of sweets. This may sound like your basic buffet; however, you’ll find that the quality and flavor of these items will satisfy you into patting a round belly. At roughly $ 17 per person, you’ll get two full meals out of this one visit. The food is so good; you’ll begin to day dream of your next visit; right before you take your Sunday nap.

It’s no Arnold’s but I’m definitely a fan. Great and helpful staff too! I really dig that you can eat as healthy or as bad as you want too — tons of salad, pasta salad, fruit, etc. Prices are very fair as I always get the meat + 3 sides for $ 8.79 and can never finish it all. Sounds like I might need to switch to the meat + 2! Can’t beat the patio view either!

Disclaimer: The following story is a fanciful version of the truth. One cold afternoon, a young girl in search of a hot, delicious plate of food eagerly stumbled upon a building… a building with a mysterious kettle made from copper. She was curious and starved – but more starved than curious – so she quickly made her way in in search of something to staunch the aching pain in her empty stomach. Warm air… and a friendly ambiance; her stomach began to quiet. Friendly faces and steam rising in swirls over the food that made her mouth flow like Niagara. Her bright blue eyes fluttered back and forth like a butterfly over the words above her head; so many choices! How to choose? «Hello, how are you? What would you like to eat?» Asked the girl standing behind the counter filled with food; a veritable gate keeper to culinary bliss. Our blue-eyed wanderer faltered, what to choose? What would best quell the desire her stomach was full of? Anxiously, she asked of the dairy free options; the gate keeper replied of a made-to-order menu above, yes, our blue-eyed friend had seen it, but she was hungry NOW and there was so much food before her already. With a small stumble, the girl discovered that this food before her – the food with the steam rising up in swirls – it all contained dairy. Alas! NO! Such horror, but her stomach was insistent; it MUST be satisfied… or doom would ensue. «Never mind the cows!!» She cried, «I am hungry, I MUSTEAT.» The girl behind the counter, the gate keeper of deliciousness, quickly filled a plate for our young friend; a plate full of coconut chicken, creamed corn, and baked beans. But BEHOLD. A tin of freshly baked rolls? It was almost too much for our blue-eyed heroine to conceive; such beautiful confections so easily within reach? Alas, she had no time to think, she had to eat! With moves as swift as a fox, she dashed to the dispenser of bountiful tea and filled her Styrofoam chalice to the brim with this golden orange mixture. Once she was away in a safe spot – for she had to ensure no one would steal her precious treasure – the girl ate with delight and merriment, for this coconut chicken… why, it was the most delectable and delicious chicken her tongue had ever had the pleasure of touching. And the creamed corn? OH. As smooth and creamy as ever she could remember. The baked beans she saved for later as she soon discovered the monster in her stomach to have fled, no longer anywhere in sight or sound. Her mind was filled with sunshine and her belly full of nourishment; she smiled with delight and vowed to, once again, find this Copper Kettle that had magicked such edible pleasure. The End.

I’ve been here once, as a tourist in Nashville for the weekend, so I’m reviewing without a big range of experience here. However, my first impression was very good. This is a homestyle cookin’, meat-and-veg joint that isn’t on any kind of a diet. I had fried catfish, greens and mac-and-cheese. Catfish and mac was excellent, but I have had more tender and less bitter greens. I recommend it based on my first impression. Would definitely go back next time I am in Nashville and hopefully update my review then!

For what it is, it is pretty alright. I gave it 3, but have a feeling today was an off/rare day, and will be going back to see if I can revise it to a 4. Service is fast, friendly and courteous. The selection of food is quite nice and diverse while still being distinctively southern. The atmosphere is nice and inviting. The reason I’m giving it 3 stars is simply because the chicken that both me, and the person I was with, was dry as a bone and overcooked extremely bad. It wasn’t burnt, it was just dry as can be. With each bite, I had to drink water and swallow it like a pill. The other food I got(tomato, basil and feta concoction; and macaroni and cheese) was pretty awesome… I’m going to go back a couple of times and pretty sure I’ll end up giving it a 4 or possibly a 5.

3.5 stars, really, but after searching around for a place to eat in the 5 points areas and running into 1 hour waits at Mad Donna’s(Which had 5 tables open, but they said they didn’t want to back the kitchen up too much??? On a Sunday?) and Marché, which literally was just packed, we headed here, sat right down and had food in 3 minutes. I’m not a big fan of buffets, but this one was pretty good as far as they go. Also had a made to order strawberry and banana waffle which really was the highlight. They make omelets and waffles made to order. Had a great view of the city if you’re into that, as it’s up on a hill. I asked my co-diner what he thought the price would run and we both agreed it would be around $ 12.99 and maybe $ 15 since it included non-alcoholic drinks, and it came out to be $ 17 I think, so a little more, but whateva.

This place is in my hood and I stopped in for Sunday brunch. This is a LEGIT, amazing spread. Like I can’t wait for family to come visit so I can take them here. Downsides: Other people know about it, so you might have to wait. I went as a twosome and we were seated right away. Truly amazing!

Was in Nashville for the weekend to celebrate a family members 50th wedding anniversary. Our cousin invited us out for Sunday Brunch and suggested the Copper Kettle. This is one yummy«comfort food brunch place!!» From the perfect coffee to the great service to the totally mouth watering selection of items presented on the brunch bar it was love and heaven at first sight! If you’re in town don’t miss this. The view of downtown is fantastic from their deck and the owner is super and delightful. Note: Only downer is the parking. Very small lot and limited street side parking. We parked in the gravel lot across the street which was vacant.

I’ve only been to this location for brunch, and I am definitely a fan! I usually steer clear of an «all you can eat» place, but they do it right here. In addition to the delicious offerings on the buffet, they also prepare made to order eggs and waffles. My only critique is the hollandaise on the mini benedicts kind of glazes over and dries. This was easily fixed by the server bringing us a small dish of the sauce. Sooo good and lemony. I recently had a lunch meeting catered by Copper Kettle. It was incredibly good and all of the attendees raved over the lunch offering. We had coconut crusted chicken and meatloaf. Both were delicious!

Sunday brunch here is a MUST – It’s buffet-style with anything you could possibly want and more. And then there’s the added benefit of a nice view of downtown Nashville. :) Envision: eggs benedict, goat cheese tarts, mango salad, gourmet cheeses, pastries, salmon, caprese salad, marinated mushrooms, macaroni and cheese, roast beef, fresh fruit, crab cakes, biscuits and gravy, brie with fruit compote, crème brûlée, banana pudding, and a variety of other items. (Non-alcoholic beverages are also included!) Although I admit that I didn’t always know what I was eating, every bite was delicious. ;)

Meh indeed. I have been here twice, and I am never going back. The food is just not good. I can eat decent somewhere else for a few bucks less. This place is not good for those who don’t eat chicken, beef and pork and dont want to eat salad. Even the salad was disappointing. Save yourself the trouble go somewhere else.
