I dropped by Dixieland Delight during a recent trip to Nashville. The shop is full of random Nashville memorabilia, quirky gifts, and quick snacks on the main strip of the downtown entertainment/tourist area. In a short visit, I managed to score some great gifts for some friends back home including an awesome Johnny Cash t-shirt. Overall, Dixie is a conveniently located and straight-forward place that caters to tourists with typical souvenirs.

Dixieland is a souvenir store that carries a serious menagerie of random stuff. Along with the usual Honky Tonk stock, they also have a lot souvenir knick-knacks, sunglasses, purses, random signs, t-shirts, and so much more. This is a good place to stop and grab a quick snack(water, soda, etc) while doing to the downtown circle(you will inevitable get sucked in to looking at all the random stuff scattered everywhere). Like John G. mentioned, they carry their own line of candy delights that you should definitely try!

Dixieland makes some of the finest candies and treat in Nashville, and they are a great place to stop to pick up a snack for yourself, of to buy a gift for others to prove that you visited Nashville. They are also a good place to buy gifts to send to out of town friends. It is not the cheapest candy you will ever buy, but one taste and you know the quality is there. and it is worth it. Friendly staff is a nice addition, because they really seem to appreciate your business.
