Amazing food. Great surprise after endless restaurants on the strip offering only burgers and ribs.

Randomly stopped in starving for lunch! We were so happy to walk right in and seat ourselves. The service was amazing, and the right games were playing for us to enjoy! We were pleasantly surprised to see so many beers on tap. There were only three ciders, one of which was pineapple, which was disappointing at best. The fried shrimp basket was fantastic with tons of fries and delicious hush puppies! The catfish was moist and the breading great. And the coleslaw full of Old Bay! Overall a great place to get a drink, food, and a college football game!

We sat here for 40 minutes and didn’t get a menu because the waiter was mad at us for ordering drinks from the bar. They were busy and we thought we were doing him a favor since he greeted us with«I just had 2 groups sit at dirty tables y’all are gonna have to give me a minute». He looks at us several times and never came back to give us menus so we could order. We left and went elsewhere. HORRIBLE service!!! We were planning on staying for awhile but considering we got neglected as a table… whatever…we were from out of town and this place was recommended to us. Definitely won’t recommend and and won’t ever come back.

So we had a great time here at the Broadway Brewhouse, it is right in the middle of all the fun on Broadway in downtown Nashville. Like many of the restaurants in the area they also feature lots of local beers, and have a full bar as well. I particularly liked the Yazoo Brewing Dos Perros. It was a nice mellow beer that packed lots of flavor. We tried two dishes 1) Texas Tacos, it was a nice dish with plenty of meat and the right amount of spice. pretty tasty. 2) I ordered the Cajun Burrito and it was the better of the 2 dishes. It was full of shrimp and beans and rice and pretty spicy. Certainly a dish I would like to have again with another of those cold Nashville brews. Our waiter was great and the music(like the rest of Nashville) was awesome.

Right on Broadway, central location. We just stopped in for a snack and a drink before a show. The Laredo rolls were excellent! It looks like they have a lot of beer, but the beer list was lacking in depth and variety. Lots of domestics, not enough craft beer.

This is a fun, lively bar on lower Broadway. They have a huge beer selection and the chips and salsa were quite good. Great spot to hang out for a while and enjoy quintessential Nashville.

Some people like to tailgate on NFL Sunday mornings, but that’s never really scratched my pre-gridiron food itch. You see, I’m a college football addict who spends most fall Saturdays drowning himself in anxiety(and the occasional cheap beer) in tents throughout the Southeast. Saturdays are life-and-death. Sundays are for actually enjoying football. That’s where Brewhouse enters the picture. While my fellow long-suffering Titans loyalists pack the parking lots, I hide away in a dark Brewhouse booth and immerse myself in hot BBQ wings and two-for-ones. The wings offer a pleasing blend of kick and flavor — perfect for shaking off yesterday’s loss; then, the two-for-one drafts help numb the pain of today’s impending loss. I know a lot about two subjects: bad football and good hot BBQ wings. Fortunately, thanks to Brewhouse, the latter is there to ease the misery of the former.

I was in Nashville this past weekend and had an absolutely incredible time with my friends. We wanted to get a Bushwacker before we left and were told that Broadway Brewhouse had them, so we went. First, I have to say, the Bushwacker was really amazing– super tasty and a great Nashville delicacy. The rest of our experience here was anything but. From the moment we sat down, our waitress acted like we were a bother for a reason unbeknownst to us. And let me assure you, we are a very nice, normal, polite group of women– and were just looking to have a drink and nice time. We originally just ordered the Bushwackers, but then decided about 20 minutes later that we wanted to eat there. For some reason, that seemed like a huge inconvenience when we asked for some menus. You’d think they’d be happy because we would give them a bigger tip and they’d get paid more? But then again, what do I know. At the moment we decided to order, we kept looking for our waitress and couldn’t find her for a good 20 minutes. At the moment someone noticed we were looking around, a different waitress came over(no big deal) to take our order. And for some reason, once again, she wasn’t any kinder then the first. We began to order, and it came time for my friend who has Celiac Disease, a SEVERE gluten allergy(and auto immune disorder), to order. Let me make myself clear… she is not on some fad gluten diet. She can not have anything with wheat. This means anything from bread to certain sauces that are many times made beer or broth, instead of water, which can contain WHEAT. She is always very polite and is very kind when ordering because she knows it seems like she is being picky. Every other restaurant has either been mindful, kind about it, had a gluten free menu, etc. Let me assure you again, she is not being picky– she just can’t have anything, and I mean anything, that contains wheat without getting severely sick. So, she goes on to ask a few questions about one of the dishes, and asked to make some food modifications(again, very politely). One of them was asking what the meat was cooked in. The waitress, unsure of what it was cooked in, says«I’m not sure, I don’t think it has something you can’t have,» to which my friend replies«Would you mind finding out? It might have some sort of wheat in it.» Our waitress rolled her eyes and said«Sure.» and walked off. She came back 2 minutes later saying its just water and seasoning so my friend will be fine. My friend then asked one more question regarding what the rice and beans were cooked in to which the waitress rudely and abruptly said«THEY’REJUSTRICEANDBEANS.» My friend quietly said, «Okay thank you», and that was that. Anyway– it doesn’t stop there. As I stated earlier, we were not rude ATALL, and trust me, my friend wouldn’t be that picky if she didn’t have to be. But after we were done eating, we asked for boxes and I walked up to see if I could grab some to-go bags. As I was waiting for one of the employees to grab them(who again, acted like it was a convenience after I said thank you 5 times), our waitress and another employee were TALKINGABOUTMEANDMYFRIENDS, 3 feet from where I was standing. They would talk about me, laugh, look at me briefly and then keep gossiping like I didn’t know they were doing it. Then, the waitress pointed to my friends and kept talking badly about my girlfriend who has the allergy. It was absolutely unbelievable, unprofessional and ended up making our last meal in Nashville the worst. We were so impressed with the service everywhere else in the city, and had commented on how nice everyone was… but this place was the exact opposite. It was truly unreal, as we did absolutely nothing to deserve it. I would highly suggest your staff to be more tolerant about people with allergies and not talk crap about your patrons when they are one, RIGHTTHERE, and two, paying for your food and visiting your establishment. We were appalled by what we experienced, and will not be back nor suggest this place to anyone else. It’s just not worth it.

All I’ve gotta say is wow… Do you care about customer service at all? In a bar area people stand. Deal with it or don’t work there. If you want them to move ask politely and don’t say«move, I’m trying to work». That’s all I’ve got. Never a good experience overall at this place.

Well frankly this was a salty bland mess. Jambalaya was salty, red beans and rice no flavor and the gumbo eh no thanks. Hey there’s a plus the buttery toast and $ 3 bud lights… you gotta know when to hold them…

This place looked fun and interesting as we walked by so we thought we would try it. The waitress was not only slow but would not even look you in the face when talking to you. We ordered coffee, took a long time to get, told them we took cream when we ordered our coffee but still took another 5 minutes to get that because they had to «go downstairs for it». We had quesadillas that were 1 tortilla folded in half, where I come from it’s 2 tortillas pressed together. 1 little cup of sour cream and 1 cup of relish. No other sides. Total bill $ 24. No alcohol. Not worth the wait or the price. Get your wait staff together!

Service was slow. It took us 15 mins to get waited on. I asked the waitress was she suggested she said the chicken wrap. It was ok, I had very little chicken. The french fries were great, they were hot and crispy. There spicy food ate very spicy. Portions and price were just average. The atmosphere was very smokey and loud so we got a booth in the back.

Touristy, good food, and great bushwackers — not much else you could possibly want in a place on Broadway! When I’m wanting to be a tourist in my own town, or have folks in from out of town, I always fall back on Broadway Brewhouse. Maybe it’s the bushwackers(delicious alcoholic chocolate milkshakes), maybe it’s the incredible people-watching, or maybe its the yummy hot wings. Whatever it is, Broadway Brewhouse is always consistent and rarely disappoints. When you walk in, you seat yourself. The best seats in the house are in the front windows — which are typically wide open. You get a great view of the folks on Broadway, and you can hear the live music from the honkytonks across the street. This place certainly isn’t the swankiest in town — and it’s not meant to be. Expect your menus to be a little sticky, expect crumbs to be on the floor, and expect the waiters to be friendly but always in a rush — it’s all in the charm of the place. Go for a bushwacker(large) and some wings(all the sauces are great) to start. Enjoy!

I’m not sure why it has 3 stars as I thought it should be a solid 4. Perhaps I went the rear the right time as folks were pre– gaming for the Nashville vs Chicago hockey playoff game. Perhaps the atmosphere and vibe was very upbeat for the upcoming game down the street. I thought the waitress was extremely helpful and got another drink on the table well in advance of the next beverage was completed. Always served with a smile and she very polite and was hustling all over. Yes it’s bar food but it wasn’t greasy and the wings, etc were very good and not greasy. I will definitely go back here!

I DIDN’T EATHERE. This review is solely for the«bar.» This place has 72 beers on tap! I could stop the review right there, and they’d be deserving of the 4 stars. The atmosphere was cool and the band was HOT! We had a great time at Broadway Brewhouse!

Broadway Brewhouse was one of the only places open for dinner during the 2015 «storm» that crippled half the city. The place is actually gigantic. There are two sides to the restaurant, each of which is big enough to be its own thing. I sat at the bar, where there’s a ton of flat screen TVs, great for watching sports. Their whole shtick is not to do the whole Nashville live music thing, which could be good or bad. The bad part is that instead, they play a lot of questionable early 2000s pop. Their beer selection is probably their greatest asset. According to the sandwich board outside, they had 70 different ones available. I had some great local drafts. For food, I went with the Cajun burrito just because it sounded so unique — it had shrimp, chicken jambalaya with a sausage/ham sauce. It was exactly as heavy as it sounds. Not exactly gourmet food, but it hit the spot on a cold day. If I did have a complaint, it would be that service was at a crawl because the bar is so long and they were probably shortstaffed due to the weather. Took forever to order a beer and get the check.

Reasonably priced brews.(About $ 4/pint during Happy Hour) Great location downtown Nashville and plenty of seating. Really enjoyed their music selection during my time here. I haven’t heard ‘Survivor’-or Destiny’s Child-for about 10 years. Good variety of craft draft brews and nice environment. Seems like a good place to watch the game with your buddies.

In the midst of all the tourist trap honky tonk bars, it’s nice to find a place with no music. I came on a very busy Tuesday before New Years Eve, between the bowl game going on and us evil Blues fans invading, it was packed at the bars, where I was hoping to sit, so I had to take up a table by my lame self while I pregamed. They have a good selection of beers including a lot of local options. I saw something about $ 1 off beers but all mine were the regular $ 5 on the receipt and I didn’t want to bother with it because I wanted to get to the game. Not to mention I was totally down with that $ 5 because that’s still half of what they cost at the arena. I didn’t eat but my friends who live up here all love this place a lot and it’s their pre-game spot, one of them is the one who suggested it to me. I was definitely out of place because it’s a popular spot for Preds fans but I made friends with anyone who tried to shit talk me so unless you’re a gross Chicago fan I think you could get along just fine in here. I will definitely be back here when I come watch hockey in the future!

Ugh what a junk hole. We sit down and no one comes to our table. One of us goes to a waiter and let’s them know and she tells my friend«we are short staffed today so we will get to you when we can.» How the hell are you«shirt» staffed downtown on a GAMEDAY??? Our waited totally dismissed my order. I asked if I could have tomatoes in my grilled cheese and he couldn’t comprehend the fact that I want it inside the sandwich, I also ordered fries. I didn’t get either one. The grilled cheese was cheep American cheese on somewhat grilled bread. The cheese was not melted… Very awful. I would never ever eat here.

This wasn’t our first choice for dinner, not even our second, but with no reservations and a busy downtown scene, we decided to go to Broadway Brewhouse. They have a large selection of beers on tap and were not overly crowded. We sat at the bar, which was really dirty. I’m no stranger to a dive bar scene, so that didn’t really put me off. We ordered a cider and beer that were on tap and tried to pick something to order for dinner. Being from California, smoking in restaurant bars is still so foreign to me. Although I tried not to let it bother me, it’s kinda gross. We sat surrounded by chain smokers, distracting myself watching the X Games Motocross. We ordered the Queso and the Fish Tacos. They were both meh and tasted like fast food. The queso tasted like watered down cheese with corn in it. I’ve never had corn in my queso, maybe it was frozen corn when they made it? The Fish Tacos were kinda bland, but the beans and rice were good. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing? We didn’t even finish everything. It sucks because I wanted to like this place and it was our last dinner in Nashville. It was fun to hang out and see another spot, but I’d rather go here for drinks over dinner next time.
