This place is like a Margaritaville for country fans. We were pulled in with the promise of seeing a new up and coming country band instead of hearing covers like most of the other venues. They were actually really good. I loved how big the place was and it was easy to grab a drink at one of their many bars. It seemed like more of the Disneyland kind of experience with overpriced drinks in a venue that is trying too hard. That being said I really like the band and I loved how big the venue was so I enjoyed the hour or two my group spent there. Think of this place as the«New Country» venue to go along with the Old School Honkey Tonk bars. Belly up to this one cowboy’s and cowgirl’s…it is worth it.

It’s a good tourist spot to bring people to to have the«I’m in a shiny Nashville bar!» experience. Then you take them to Robert’s to have the«I’m in a real Nashville bar» experience. This is sort of the cars-hanging from the ceiling, big-hair big-boobs girls, cover-band, big lighted stage, three floors, bad drinks, kind of place. Service is iffy. It goes back and forth. Bathrooms have attendants, but aren’t clean. It can be kind of fun if you go with it, and just let your soul flow with the tacky. Wear your inner Bump-it for the night. This is sort of a «Take my pic for Facebook, omg, Kelsy/Trevor/Jacob!» kinda bar. I have played here, and all I can say is, they don’t pay the bands, so please, tip the crap out of them. On the plus side, places like this are the reason Nashville musicians wise up, leave town, and start touring. Also why bands are so brutal about getting deals.

Stopped in on for a quick drink while strolling downtown Nashville. The singer on stage Amanda was a great singer. The atmosphere was great. Cool place. Must visit.

Every time I go I swear I will never come back and yet a few months later I find myself back here. In my defense, it’s never by choice. Cadillac Ranch is a mega club in the heart of the Honky Tonks. It’s big with bachelor and bachelorette parties. One time I waited in line for 30 minutes because some girl was puking in the bathroom. Yep, this is Cadillac Ranch. What else is Cadillac Ranch? Well you name it. They have a mechanical bull upstairs, a hip hop club called Karma, a karaōke room called Wannabes and some nondescript back room. One night, when no one was looking, I hopped behind the bar and pretended I was in Cocktail. I can toss apple pucker like it’s nobody’s business! The place is a giant maze and okay, after 4 drinks it’s fun to wander through but only for a bit. I usually get antsy after an hour and either leave to get a hot dog so I can eat my feelings or head to Roberts. Phew, much better. When all is said and done it’s big with the tourists. Is that bad? No, it’s just not what I’m looking for when I head downtown. Will you still see me there? May… be…

The Cadillac Ranch has a pretty cool atmosphere. There is a vintage Caddy on a pedestal in the center of the bar and they have a huge stage at the very end of the room. They apparently have a mechanical bull upstairs, but the day that I went, there was a private party and they had the stairs blocked off. My companions and I grabbed a spot at the bar and ordered a drink. The band that was playing was very good. The female singer was very talented as was her band(even though they looked like they may have been registered on the sex offender list). Unfortunately for me, I picked the wrong stool. There was a strong odor of BO wafting from somewhere near where I was sitting. It made me gag a little every now and then. I don’t think it was the bar itself, but it must’ve been one of the patrons near me. I was a trooper though and held my ground. I think it made me a stronger person. We had a good time, but it might be because this was our last stop for the day. We had several beverages before this stop, so we were feeling pretty light on our feet at the time. Not even the odor of stanky ass could weigh down our spirits.

Went before a Preds game. 30 minutes or so for wings and a burger with fries — all of which arrived cold. The band was just sad — kept trying to interact with the crowd which was(at 5:45) not nearly drunk enough. Service — poor. Atmosphere — cliché. Food — not bad, but not good enough to justify the wait. Won’t be back.

Horrible service, bad food, not a great experience. We only came here to eat because there was a 2 hour wait at the brewery, and the other brewery was super creepy and had even worse service… if that’s possible. But it took forever for drinks and for our waitress to take the food order. Then it took a really long time for the food to come. And then when the food runner brought it, BOTH of my orders were incorrect(and since when does the side salad come at the same time as the meal??) The waitress really didn’t care about the lack of correct food. Just about her tip. AVOID!

Bridesmaid party? Make sure the bride-to-be rides the mechanical bull.(Hint: if you tip well, she’ll be able to hold on for 8 sec). The club area is HOT as in uncomfortably hot, but it’s loaded with people so expect to be hit on. No one is dancing well, so you can get your goofy groove on and no one will care.

This is the place to go if you want to meet single people, especially nice Southern gents, and have some reasonably priced drinks. It’s connected to a less loud karaōke bar. So, if the dance scene isn’t your cup of tea, you have an alternative. Also, there’s a mechanical bull. While our group didn’t partake this time around, I’m sure it’ll be on our list for next time. But other than the bull, it’s not really a «southern» style place. Reminds me of regular bars back home in Chicago. The drinks are really reasonably priced… whether a beer, shot or mixed drink. Only downfall is that there is NO air flow, which gives CR a sauna feel. There are bathroom attendants. So, make sure to keep a few singles with you to give as a tip!($ 1/trip) Our attendant on Friday night was HIGHLARIOUS! We’re still joking about it.

The Main section is OK too but the live music is LOUD making even a yelling conversation difficult. Go next door for karaōke and say hi to the friendly bartender, Jay and the super cute young lady who runs the Karaōke. She does a mean Shania Twain. Drinks are reasonable and it’s very casual. Recommended. Chris

Don’t be fooled by the bright and shiny lights of this large establishment on Broadway — only trouble awaits. From the overpriced cover to the collection of creepy people, Cadillac Ranch seems more like an ode to Jersey Shore than a true honky tonk. Yes, it’s one of the only places to ride a mechanical bull in the Downtown area, but don’t let that sway you as I did one fateful night. I arrived with a group of friends expecting some good old-fashioned white trash fun, but was met with long lines for expensive drinks and guido guys. Since we were already there, we went ahead and decided to wait in the line to ride the bull. And yeah, they charge you to ride it. After looking at the line of guys and girls who rode before me, I was less concerned with falling off than what sort of STDs I might encounter from riding the thing. But, if an extremely trashy time is what you’re looking for, Caddy Ranch just might be the right place for you. Don’t say I didn’t try and warn you, though!

Best club on the strip. Was on business with girlfriends, and decided to go check out the city. Went in and headed straight for the dance floor. More Hip-Hop/Rock than country music, which is a good thing since I hate country music. Danced until I was dreched. Lots of cute guys dancing and hanging around. Great place for the single girl! Down side: Bartender was a total B! Couldnt get our drinks and she was rude. Got propositioned by several meathead German tourists. Bathroom was gross… But too much fun on dance floor! :)

This place is gross. Expensive cover for a shitty bar, lots of overly cologned meatheads and girls with big hair and way too little clothing. It’s huge but not big enough for the amount of people they let in. You have to fight your way just to take a few steps and the air is so steamy you leave looking like you’ve been hanging out in a sauna. The bathrooms are filthy. Wet floors, no soap, no paper towels. Disgusting. We stopped in here so one of my friends could try out the mechanical bull — but then we left as fast as we could. Got groped a few times by strangers when just trying to walk through the place. Absolutely not a place I would ever willingly go into ever again. There are way way better bars in Nashvile.

I used to be a fan of Cadillac Ranch but it’s getting worse. I was in a bachelor party last night and we were bar hopping. Our last stop was going to be Cadillac Ranch as usual… BUT when we arrived with our group of 10 they wouldn’t let an older gentleman in our group into the bar. Now keep in mind, the older gentleman was funding this evening. They turned down business and pissed off not only all of us in the party but the man that didn’t get into the bar was insulted as well he should have been. Just remember. you’re a wanna be «cool» bar in Nashville. Loose the attitude.

This is the bar that everyone in Nashville hates to go, but always ends up at the end of the night. It is three stories and one of the only places that has a mechanical bull. With three stories and it always being packed, you meet a vast array of people here. I like the music and usually their is a live band on the first floor. They have a large dance floor and it is connected to Wannabe’s, a Karokee bar, which is very ultra cool and fun! Their is a lot of drama at Caddy Ranch, but that is probably due to the mass amount of people who go. If you ever do stop in,(you can’t miss it… it’s HUGE) see if you can get Elizabeth to make your drinks. She is gorgeous, so you can’t miss her, and she works at the first bar and is always friendly with a smile on her face!!!

SOUTHERNHOSPITALITYEXISTS! IT’S NOT A MYTH! This was the first place the group of people I was with went to when we landed in Nashville. We walked in and were welcomed with«Hey y’all! Come in and sit wherever you like!» I had to do a double take and think to myself, «Did she just say y’all?» We sat down in the huge restaurant portion of the place and got to listen to live music from a guy who covered Jason Mraz! Surprisingly, he was really good! I ordered a simple Cesar salad and DAMN it was good! I don’t know if it was a southern thing but whatever they added to the salad they for sure pleased me!(That’s what I mainly gave 4 stars for!)

Ode to the mechanical bull! I think I saw my friend ride that thing a total of 10 times in one night, seriously, that’s $ 50 spent purely on trying to tame the mechanical beast. Cadillac Ranch is the one of the best dance clubs places in Nashville and definitely the best place downtown to go dancing if you are not into Country music mood or just need a change of pace. The place is huge, the drinks are the average downtown price, and the music tends to be top 40 hip-hop and such. With a variety of full service bars to choose from it’s usually not too much of a hassle to get a drink. The upstairs dance floor can get a little crowded, but the place is so big that it’s easy to find an escape. If you are sick of the club dance scene, you can head over to WannaBs or Rock It to get a complete change of pace. All in all, I think Cadillac Ranch is great place to come and shake your moneymaker.

Cadillac Ranch is actually part of 3 bars(wanna-be’s and rock it club) that are connected in the back through a series of tunnels. We snuck in back door to Rock It club which had a kick ass band — think Cure, Led Zeppllin, Tom Petty and even some original stuff. I actually rocked it out at rock it club. Then for a change of pace you can go to the other bars(but they are a lot more cheesy). Give it a try when you don’t want to wait in line at the Stage and remember to go around the corner and enter the Rock It club first.

I was torn between 2 and 3 stars but decided to knock ‘em down because of the $ 10 cover. $ 10 cover? What? I hate to pay cover when I go to really awesome places. let alone average to mediocre places. My friend had her wedding post-party at Cadillac Ranch — I think chosen because of its proximity to the Country Music Hall of Fame, the ease of getting in and the mechanical bull(the main attraction as everyone has noted). The drinks were pretty inexpensive — I think my friend’s husband got 4 beers and a mixed drink for $ 16 or something ridiculous like that. That almost makes up for the cover charge. There is a bit of dancing but not much — little pockets of dance floors that spring up upstairs and downstairs — but I wouldn’t call it a dance club. But it is great for people-watching(especially from the upstairs balcony)… The gentleman had a good time riding the bulls, and it is fun watching people make fools of themselves. The ladies were wearing dresses… and it’s just not appropriate to ride a bull when you’re wearing a dress. Not that this stopped one woman — beware of the skirt-wearing bull rider!
