Firestone Complete Auto Care

Came in to Firestone for an oil change during their pre-​Thanksgiving rush. They had a mixup, and the work was delayed. The guys took care of me, giving me my oil change for free and still honoring my BOGO free coupon for my next one. Really appreciate that stand-​up ethic!

After going in for an oil change before a road trip, of course they found that I needed several other things. As I was leaving the next day, and feeling a bit pressured (hoping they didn’t take advantage because I’m a woman), I allowed them to complete the repairs. The following day, the same axle they replaced broke, leaving my husband and I stranded– forcing us to get towed, a hotel, the part replaced again, and a rental car for the weekend. Upon our return, they only reimbursed us for the part, leaving us out hundreds of dollars.

Went in to get new brakes. Received a phone call saying I needed new rotors as well. They quoted me $ 750+. Took my car down the street and had all 4 brakes replaced for $ 380. I asked if the rotors needed to be replaced and he said «no sir, you have plenty of life left on those.» Proceed with caution.

Walked in on a Sunday morning for an emergency tire replacement. I decided to get an oil change and maintenance check as well. I was out in under an hour and noticed they even fixed a dangling piece on bottom of car that I forgot to mention without an additional charge. Growing up my dad always took care of my car problems so going to a shop when I don’t know anyone gives me anxiety but I think I finally found a basis auto car place I trust! No more driving seven hours back home for tires.

They did a great job replacing my wheel bearing hub assembly.
Fast service. They were priced a little higher but had the part in stock so it was easy to get in and out quickly.

I had an emergency situation, and the guys at Firestone took such good care of me! I received an informative explanation on what the neck happened to my car and was safely back on the road to Milwaukee in 2 hours.

When it’s time to consider a road trip, the first thing we do is have our car serviced…
I made an appt for my service.
Went in and gave them my keys.
Took off and returned a few hours later to find my car serviced and ready to go.
Employees are nice, everything runs efficiently at this store and there are plenty of mechanics to keep up with the business, and they do a lot of business.
I’m glad they’re in the neighborhood, I’m glad they have plenty of mechanics and most of all, I’m glad they’re open 7 days a week…
My kind of business.

I scheduled an appointment yesterday for an oil change at 11am today. I dropped off my car promptly at 11am. They said the wait would be 45 – 60 minutes. I returned 60 minutes later, and they hadn’t even taken my car into the garage. In fact, they hadn’t even entered me into the system, which they had to do upon my return. The staff was friendly, but the experience was just sloppy. What was the point of making an appointment a day in advance?
Also of note, one of the employees accidentally left a grocery bag containing several bags of coffee in my seat. How strange. What was my car being used for?
I expressed my frustration to the shop manager, who offered his apologies and a free oil change in the future. Because I live right down the street, they’ll get a second chance from me. I hope to provide a more positive, normal update next time.

I came by for an oil change the other day, and folks were as nice as could be. My wait wasn’t terribly long, and the oil change itself was cheap. They even noticed I had a nail in my back tire and patched it up for me!
Also of note: Really excellent eating nearby, if you do find yourself waiting a while. Dino’s and Bar 308 are right across the street!

I made an «appointment» here yesterday for brake service at 12:00pm. They said I’d be in and done in time to pick up my son at school. I went back to check at 2:00 and they had not even started. They said «well, when you make a doctors appointment your doctor really doesn’t see you at that time does he?»
I said, well, yes…“
Panicked I drove down the street to Main Street and we took my car for a test drive. The condition of my brakes were so bad, they fixed them immediately and I was out in about an hour.

Solid shop with lots of great places to eat within a quarter mile while you wait.

I’ve been there twice now and had very friendly service. But, what I liked most is their HONESTY! I’ve been to too many places that try to sell you repair and maintainence work that you don’t need to fix your problem. They were also very prompt!

I took my car there this morning because it had trouble starting up.
The kind gentlemen at Firestone diagnosed the problem as a bad battery and replaced it for me. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes.
I’ll definitely be coming back.

The guys at Firestone are the nicest. I know that when I take my care there they are going to be honest and fair. I totally recommend them.

We have bought tires here and had our oil changed as well. Great service. We plan to use them for any work that we need done on our cars.

I was on a 1300 mile road-​trip when I had epic tire failure in my 2000 Cadillac. I was able to limp my car to this Firestone, in a pretty rough area of town. I was skeptical at first, but my skepticism was soon replaced by delight.
I was met by a bunch of «Good Ol’ Boys» behind the counter. They were able to set me up with a great quality tire for a great price. I ended up buying all 4 tires, having an alignment done, and a complete suspension check done for a great price and in less than 1.5 hours.
I used to work at a Sears doing this same job, and I understand by Sears had so much competition with Firestone. These guys helped my salvage my trip from what could have been an epic failure.

I have always had good experiences at the Firestone on Gallatin Rd in East Nashville. I generally only go there to have basic maintenance done, but the staff are always friendly and the prices are extremely competitive. It is everything you would want from a quick stop car garage in the neighborhood.
On my most recent visit I went in to have a headlamp replaced. Turns out the bulb was fine, but the plastic connection was partially melted. The service manager did some scraping and shaping with a pocket knife until the problem was all sorted out. When I went to pay he wouldn’t have any of it. I even tried to tip, but he just waved me off. You wouldn’t expect small town service at a chain shop, but that is exactly what I received.
Another thing that I always appreciate is the location. which is walking distance to the East library and five points. I hate sitting around and waiting, but if I can take a walk, check out some books and maybe have a beer while my car is getting fixed, then all is well.
Maybe I am a cheap date, but Firestone East Nashville always leaves me satisfied. I would love to give them more business, but unfortunately they seem to keep my car in too good a condition. All I can do is give them a top recommendation.
