My raw vegan boss loved this place. She ate there everyday. There was a couple of time I felt like soup during the winter and I enjoyed their choices. It’s worth noting that the downtown location is closed(permanently?)

Freshii is a great alternative to fast food! You can find healthy items on the menu and it is quick and fresh. My favorite treat is the frozen yogurt with toppings! Everyone should try this place and make a change from old places you visit.

I love their food, and I love their frozen yoghurt with a passion! …but…I work right down the street and I cannot, for the life of me predict if they will, or won’t be open at any given time. Some days they seem to close at 3, other days they just don’t open at all?!?

I love this place for the food. Simple, healthy, and yummy. HOWEVER, they are always disappointing me… The first time I found out they closed pretty early and that I would likely not be eating many dinners here(I work until pretty late), I was craving them for dinner, but lo and behold they close at 7:00 pm and I was sad. I went by here a couple Sundays ago to find that they were closed, again. I just went by there again today to find they changed their hours to close at 6:00 pm instead of 7:00, yet again! They are definitely missing out on business and I got an Amy’s for dinner. Bummer.

I’m not a big fan of chain restaurants, but for a pescatarian(who prefers to eat mostly vegetarian) looking for fast healthy lunch options, Freshii is a godsend. I haven’t tried any of their menu selections because the make-your-own menu is just too much for me to resist! You can choose a salad, wrap, soup or noodle/rice bowl and customize it to your hearts desire. It’s like a salad bar on crack. For vegetarians and vegans, you can mix and match plenty of protein options — pay extra for some tasty tofu, or get black beans and chickpeas(they’re even in the ‘free’ add-on category). Since I occasionally eat fish and had a gift certificate to blow, I tried the most expensive meat/protein add-on: Grilled salmon. I received a generous filet of fresh salmon on my salad, and by the time they were done loading it up with the multitude of free add-on veggies I had selected, my salad was so huge that an employee dubbed it the«bigger than your friend’s salad» salad. Um, thanks? The only downsides are that the ordering process is a little confusing(head down to the far end of the store to place your order), and $ 10 – 12 for a salad just isn’t in my everyday budget. The salads, wraps and bowls on the menu are a little more reasonable at $ 7 – 10. You can also order online or map out your order online to see how many calories your meal contains.

Looking for a healthy and quick breakfast? This is your spot. Love the breakfast sandwiches and wraps! You can also order up delish muesli and fruit if you’re feelin’ really healthy. I personally have to stop myself from grabbing every vegan brownie, raw cookie, and other assorted treats that they have taunting me… A large OJ and breakfast sandy set me back around $ 7! TIP: Opens at 7am

Freshii, what happened? You seem to be having some SERIOUS staffing/training issues. Here’s what happened to me at lunch today: Fill out form with soup order – a stock menu item, not a custom creation – with one substitution(no meat) and a 50¢ side order of hot sauce. Simple, right? It was after the lunch rush; they weren’t busy. I pay and several minutes later I am handed a bag with a napkin, fork(?), no hot sauce and a container of soup that obviously has rice instead of the noodles listed on the menu. I mention that the soup came with noodles last time I ordered it and got a blank stare from the cashier. Double checked the menu to be sure, and yup, noodles. Mentioned this again and the cashier said she would check, she checked the menu herself and then asked if I wanted them to add noodles to the soup with the rice. I guess I should have just taken the soup, however they wanted to give it to me, and left at this point. Instead, I politely said that I thought noodles AND rice might be a bit much and she offered to remake my order. Several minutes later, funny how the second soup seemed to take longer to make than the first, I’m wandering around the store and see a couple members of the staff hunched over the counter intently trying to filter out the rice from the first soup and pour the broth into my «new» order. Seriously? Who would do that? And in an open kitchen, too. They make a mistake and I’m punished for it with lukewarm broth and grains of rice floating around in my noodle soup. I’m really glad that that wasn’t an ingredient I was allergic to or one that wasn’t vegetarian. Oh, and I still had to ask for that hot sauce I paid for.

I have been here several times now and tried several different wraps and bowls. High quality ingredients and very fresh. I like the clean interior of the space; however, the ordering system is a bit cumbersome. While everything is very fresh, it is not necessarily healthy. I checked some of the nutritional info online and was shocked as to calories in some of the items. However, the great thing about this place is that you can customize your order and make healthy choices. Overall, a great addition to downtown.

Good selection of menu items for both vegan and meat-eaters. Be sure to go to website and check out the menu, it will save you time when ordering.

Probably my new go to spot for healthy fare downtown. Freshii is a pretty straightforward concept of salads, wraps, and bowls of various healthful ingredients. You fill out a card with all the choice on it upon entering much like at SATCO or Which wich. You can also get something off the prepared menu which had some pretty good looking offerings. Personally, the create your own is pretty attractive. They have a wide reaching variety of ingredients so you can pretty much make whatever you are in the mood for that day. I went with a brown rice bowl with black beans, corn, onions, beets(?!), chickpeas, tomatoes, roasted red pepper, and salsa. It actually came out really well and was exactly what I was in the mood for(although I could not put a name on exactly what that would be called). On a different day I could easily see doing an asian wrap or a Mediterranean salad, or a hot bowl of noodles. The flexibility and healthiness will definitely bring me back. It is a bit pricey, but what isn’t anymore. I think you definitely get a good meal that you will not feel bad about wolfing down during a lunch break.

I have tried Freshii for dinner and for breakfast, and my conclusion each trip was that their food represented a flavorless flop. I understand it is supposed to be healthy food, but does that mean I should settle for something more bland than hospital food? I think not.

Ahh, you so fresh! Yes, this place does live up to its name. The three times visiting prior to this, I had created my own mixtures. This time, I went for the menu listing: Spicy Noodle Bowl. And spicy it is! The great thing about this place is that it can please just about every type of food demand. They have many meat items, non-meat and vegan options galore. For around $ 10, I usually get one of the meal creations and a locally made organic cookie. I always eat the cookie first to give the system a sugar jump start. Not only do they have a wonderful variety of wraps, bowls, salads and the like; you can also get a variety of nuts and dried fruit here. They sell both bags and little plastic tubs of these items. Also, they have a variety of, what I like to call hippie bars, Cliff bars and other similar energy/power bars and food. The place is small and not conducive to more than about 6⁄8 people sitting at one time. Be sure to read some of the other reviews about ordering procedure. Their environmentally conscious business practices is what makes Freshii stand out to other restaurants downtown. They make a concerted effort to reduce their impact through simple practices. So, be sure to bring your own Nalgene!
