Golden Boot Shoe Reprg

An out-​of-​town visitor needed a pair of heels repaired before catching a flight. New soles, heel taps, and strap repair were promised in an hour. When we returned, the shoes were ready and looked great.

I brought in an expensive pair of riding boots in the box. They repaired the heel and the sole, but threw away the box. Why would you throw away the box for boots?!? Obviously I store them in the box to protect them. And hey didn’t seem to care. Not only that, they didn’t polish the boots, which I prepaid for.
Horrible customer service and poor workmanship.

Took in my old leather shoes that had the bottoms worn down.
I really liked my 1 year old shoes and wanted to extend it’s life and I was told replacing the heels would be a good decision.
The repair cost just a fourth of the cost of the shoes and the bottom turned out like new!
They even polished and shined the shoes which he said was included in the total price.
Overalll, very happy with the service!

After mixed reviews I decided to give this place a chance because it’s super close to my house. It was fine; not bad and not great.
I took in a pair of black leather boots that needed new heels (the very bottom part of the heel that actually hits the ground). The man working was polite, told me what he would need to do, charged what seemed like a reasonable amount and told me when to pick them up. The back of the heels were pretty scuffed so he said he would touch those up too. I appreciated all the info ahead of time and his offer to touch up the heels.
I picked them up and they looked fine. The broken bits were fixed and the back of the heels were touched up pretty well (definitely an improvement). The shoes had not been wiped down or cleaned at all and there was actually a large streak across one (maybe glue.?). I pointed it out and the guy working cleaned that spot and handed them back.
I didn’t ask for the shoes to be cleaned so I can’t really hold that against them. All and all it was fine and I would go back because of its convenience. If I had a pair of shoes I loved and wanted handled well I’m not sure this would be the place for me.

Great job on luggage repair, with kind and efficient service. This is the place to go when the airlines are tough on your suitcases. Friendly service and great work, just a tad pricey.

If I could give this place a half star, or even zero stars, I would. Better yet, where can I post some photos of their «handy work?» Buyer beware. Their service isn’t cheap and you pay up front.
I’m nearly embarrassed to wear the shoes I took to this place, but it’s still too cold for flip flops.

i turned in some of my old shoes for repair and got them back looking new! i can not recommend golden boot enough. the owner is really friendly and professional. the price is very affordable and the turn-​around is prompt and fast.
give this place an award.

They screwed up my ugg & gucci boots! So pissed! They also put oil on a pair of $ 1000 boots that don’t require oil and some how shrunk them! They are ruined! First round here they did great, 2^nd round they ROYALLY screwed up!!! So very mad!

Great service, but pricey!
The owner is very nice, and almost always asks if I want my shoes cleaned when I drop them off to have the heels done. I always refuse (it costs $ 30), but then he cleans and polishes them anyway. The service is always great, however, the prices are pretty high ($ 12 or so for high heel tips, much more for soles). For convenience and good work, it can’t be beat, but it’s not much of a bargain.
