Jerky House

I give it 3 stars because of the price.
The store is clean and well organized by types of jerky. It was inviting and had funny signs inside. I just didn’t think it would be THAT much just for one package. I’m sure it’s delicious though.

This owner is hilarious. Watches everyone as they come in and has something to say (funny mainly and friendly) to every single person. Something new for each person. He does a fast assessment of you and goes for it. True business owner who wants you to be engaged as a consumer, teaches you about what jerky is what, challenges you to try some and I may add stuff you would most likely never try… I’m a survivor of Alligator Jerky and HONESTLY, it was really good. I knew the Buffalo would rock my world and it did so I bought some. :)
He takes pride in his business. He takes pride in his product. He was honestly someone whose business stood out from the others in town and not just for his product. He knows how to smile and be friendly and fun. Lightedn up people — we’re visiting your town and it’s a big deal to us. Treat us like it’s an adventure and watch your local Jerkey Salesman.
He was cool and obviously successful. Would totally go back.

My wife loves jerky, and when we saw this small shop in Nashville, I knew she’d have to go. So, we went. They have all kinds of jerky, as you may imagine at a place called the Jerky House. The nice thing before you go and buy expensive jerky is that they will give you samples of any of their jerky. We tried some buffalo and some beef jerky. My wife decided on the sweet and spicy beef jerky. She said it was great. The guy who ran the place was really nice and helpful.
Can’t say that I’ve ever been to another jerky store, so I really have nothing to compare it to. But it was a nice place.
