I love this place. Granted, the service sucks really bad, but it you want cheap tasty food, here ya go. I noticed people who have given this place a bad review mentioned they have lived in Texas. Well, I was born and raised in Texas darlin so that don’t mean Jack to whether this is good food or not. I come here for the cheese dip. Period. The salsa is also very tasty. The chips get it done. The chicken burrito with the cheese sauce is awesome. It’s worth the money.

My co-workers & I needed a quick lunch so Mexican food is always a good option. We arrived during peak lunchtime traffic but were seated immediately. Although we did not have a preference due to time constraint there are several booths, tables, and patio seating available to accommodate large parties as needed. Our server greeted us with a smile and was very pleasant. We indulged in the warm chips and salsa as we looked over the menu. I decided to order the No. 9 Two Chicken Enchiladas topped with a salad, and served with rice and beans. The food came out in less than ten minutes. It was filling and a delicious lunch for under $ 11.00. I am glad I gave the food a try however; I prefer to stick to their Happy Hour specials and Cinco De Mayo celebrations, as they are known as one of the best for top shelf Margaritas in Nashville. Overall, Las Palmas served its purpose for quick service, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and appeased my mid-day hunger.

Ambiance is horrible(really bright for dinner), food was bland and cheap, no pitchers of beer, have to order rice OR beans as a side. What is that all about? Will not go back ever. It used to be much better. Little Mexico, Las Maracas, and La Hacienda are way better if you are looking for a good dive Mexican restaurant. Las Palmas is coasting on its reputation from when it was much better.

I wouldn’t come here for the food. The drinks, on the other hand, are strong but not that great in the taste department. The best times I have had at Las Palmas have been with a few of my friends on a night where we intended to have fun, drink a little, and do something afterwards. I would generally not recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a good Mexican meal that represents what Mexican eateries have to offer in Nashville. Come in with the right expectations, and you will have a great time!

My boyfriend and I become regulars at every Las Palmas we live by(we move a lot). After our first visit, this location by far has the best service we have ever had. Ruben took care of us. He was very friendly and attentive.

My favorite Mexican restaurant(Hayes location). And yes, I am solely basing this review on 1 dish: the Chicken Chimichanga. I have lived all over the US, and no restaurant makes it like they do(other than Amigo Juan’s in Texarkana, AR). I think it also has unbeatable value and great lunch combos for those working in the area. Love the place! And can’t wait to get back to Nashville to stop by there.

Amazing staff & food. The place always looks empty from the outside but as you walk in the place is filled with groups. Much better than Chuy’s. Truly authentic Mexican food. Always amazing when we visit. A must taste for anyone visiting Nashville & Westend

I’ve grown up going to las palmas and I use to love it! However, the service I’ve had the last few months has been awful. The waiters are rude and not helpful at all and act aggravated if you ask for something. It makes me sad because I use to love the place! I also one time had a roach in the bottom of my taco salad and they gave me a 10 dollar gift card…

The food was ok and the service wasn’t bad. Get the Monster Margarita if you do go and the tequila will take away the bad smell of the place!

A friend and I went here a few months back and the food was okay. What made me give it 1 star is, while waiting for the waiter to bring the checks, a roach crawled on the wall of our booth.

Very good food. Worth getting out of downtown tourist areas for. Giant margaritas! We asked for grilled jalapeños, they were sliced and grilled perfectly.

I really like Las Palmas. I give them a 4 because it’s not best Mexican ever, but they deserve a high rating. Everything here is very fresh. I’ve heard they make their own tortillas. Everything I have had here has always been prepared correctly. I really enjoy their enchiladas and rice. They are friendly and keep the place clean. Also enjoy the Charlotte Pike location. I will definitely be hanging out here drinking and enjoying good Mexican food when it’s warm out.

I have been to Las Palmas many times over there years. Las Palmas is your run of the mill Mexican Restaurant which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It’s a great place to get a dos equis or margarita with some chili rellenos when I’m looking to get a moderately priced meal.

I just ordered a To-Go order from this location. I’ve ALWAYS had good service and food from Las Palmas… until today. I ordered the Shrimp Tacos. What I got was 3 tortillas, with a crap ton of tomatoes and lettuce, with 3 tiny pieces of FISH. I threw it all away. Wasted $ 10.00 on a meal I was really looking forward too. I will NEVER go to this location again. It was terrible.

Visited here Tueday(August 5th) for a co-workers birthday. It was… meehhh…just ok. I ordered the fish tacos and a Jumbo Mango Margarita. Problem 1. The fish taco plate was relatively small and only came with tarter sauce. The tacos itself was piled with tomatos. 2. My bill was almost $ 20. And I thought the Margarita’s was half off? The servers did sing happy birthday to my friend and she had a plate of ice cream. That was pretty cool. But overall I’ve had better mexican food and I guess I was expecting more from here.

My friends and I came here one Tuesday night to try out somewhere that we had not been before. We were not pleased at all with the service or the manager and the food was okay, not the best. It took about 10 minutes before we could order drinks, then it was another 20 minutes before we could order our food. The young man bringing our food, that was not the our server, was very helpful and got us anything extra that we needed. We rarely saw our server and when we finally did around the time we were finishing eating we asked for our check. We then waited 40 minutes to get our checks. For 20 minutes we never even saw our server. Finally he arrived with our check s after asking again and the manager tried to tell us we should’ve gone to the counter to get our checks when no one had let us know that that was an option. Overall, we were very dissatisfied with the service and will not be returning. The beef had a strange taste to it and the cheese enchilada had slimy, watery cheese in it. It is too bad the service was not better otherwise we would consider coming back and trying something else on the menu.

I have always liked Las Palmas«chain» here in Nashville. Not bad at all for Nashville’s idea of Tex-Mex. I have eaten way too much really good Tex-Mex to say this place it great but I do eat here a lot. If this were TX then I would have to give this store a 3 star rating. The prices are good and the food fresh. If you are looking for authentic then keep looking but if you want a good meal at good prices you should give it a try. The chorizo is good and they cook it enough. My wife likes the fajitas.
