Any food chain that succeeds in Nashville has to be good, because there’s a ton of local competition, and Mirko has earned its spot in the Donelson area. The food is tasty and reliable(I haven’t gotten something I’ve disliked), the servers are very friendly, nice wine selection, and a quiet environment. All good things! Their bread served with a savory bean dip is always tasty. My boyfriend and I will be back again and again.

Very good freshly made pasta. Great service. Good reason to stay and eat in Donelson.

Loved loved this place. The food was amazing. Our server was super friendly. The food came out fast and hot. Even though the pasta was a little too al dente for me, it was still delicious. The best part was that although we got there pretty close to closing they still served us without hurrying us. We’ll be back for sure.

Mirko is a great place for friendly service and quality pasta with really good sauces. We have visited here a couple of times a long time ago at their previous location. Try the ravioli.

We love to eat here! The food is fabulous and the staff is wonderful!!! Highly recommended. The butternut squash in pink sauce is like eating desert for dinner!!! The fettuccini Alfredo with chicken is also awesome, my husband ordered it every time we come! I can’t recommend this place enough. Love the wedge salad too!!! The manager is the best and was finally able to get the Yazoo beer for me!!! That is above and beyond for sure!!! Thank you so much!!!

Pretty good place. For some reason we thought this was a fast casual place and it was much nicer inside than I expected. The food was good, service was moderate. Drinks were expensive. My wife got a sangria and got the check and saw it was $ 10, a little strong. Kids meals were $ 5 though and they loved it. We’ll be back.

I went with my fiancé this weekend. The lamb was amazing. It was topped with cranberry chutney and had zucchini as the veggie(mmmm). My fiancé had one of the homemade pastas and it was really good too. Our server wasn’t as attentive as I would’ve wanted but she was really friendly, so maybe she was just busy. Would definitely go again.

Mirko is one of my favorite Italian restaurant. The noodles are fresh goodness. I like the chilled water bottle being left on the table. But my favorite thing is the white bean purée and rolls that come free before the meal. I could eat that purée with a fork! …and I have!!! :)

I got really awesome service here! I can’t remember the servers name but he had dark hair pulled back into a ponytail. I ate at the bar but he still was very attentive and even ran my leftovers out to me when I accidentally left them behind. The food was good. I shop at the Publix next door and it’s nice to have somewhere nearby to get some good food.

I had a recommendation to come here from an office employee. They said the lunch price point was a good value so I decided to give it a try. Atmosphere is nice and clean. The wait staff were attentive. I sat at the bar to look over the menu. I decided to go for it and stay. I told the waitress that I had never eaten there before. I asked her what she recommends. She said the Lasagna. I got the lasagna lunch special. I got bread and a bean paste which I will echo other reviewers when they said the taste was very bland. Using the salt grinder in it helps immensely. It also had excessive olive oil as well, but that didn’t seem to bother me much. I then waited. And waited. In excess of 30 minutes. I was 30 seconds away from saying to the staff, I had to go, and walk out. 30 minutes is entirely too long to wait for a simple lunch item ordered from the lunch special menu! There was no explanation as to why it took so long. The food: The lasagne was good, but however, some of the pasta was indeed hard. Too hard to cut with my fork like a normal lasagne. I had to use the butter knife to cut it. The sauce and cheeses were decent. It didn’t prevent me from cleaning my plate because I was hungry. I would have rated higher if there was not such a painfully long wait time. The waitress noticed I did drink my water quicker than normal, and she left the carafe on the bar for me, which was nice. I will not return.

Four of us met here for the first time for lunch on a Sunday when the South was cleaning out from the big blizzard of 2016. It was perfect. Even though the place looks onto a strip mall parking lot, what we actually saw through the many glass windows was a nice outdoor seating area(nobody outside, of course) with numerous high-end patio heaters and a well-maintained fabric fence. Inside was surprisingly modern in a spare, European-feeling way, with painted concrete floors and stone/wood walls. Staff was young but very competent and super friendly, and the food was outstanding. We two women had the grilled salmon on mixed greens, and the fish was fresh and delicious and done to our specs. Men had turkey sliders or chicken Marsala, and both were highly impressed. Our pepper aficionado had high praise for the pepper mill, and for his sweet potato fries, and we all loved that the whole table was served water, along with a glass-stopped water bottle for refills. The server also brought warm rolls and a white-bean hummus spread. Though the hummus was too oily for my taste, I thought it a classy innovation that you’d expect from a much more expensive restaurant. Mirko is extremely affordable and the servings are generous – none of us had room for dessert! But we all agreed we will definitely be back and look forward to the sweets then.

Staying near Nashville airport, we were headed to Darfons Restaurant without a reservation, but the parking lot was jammed. We headed elsewhere and were rewarded with immediate seating and impeccable service at Mirko Pasta, about a 5 minute ride away. Our waitress Victoria made sure our coffees and waters never ran dry. My minestrone was rich with a thickened tomato broth, the best I have had. My husband ordered the mozzarella appetizer… a pile of fresh baby mozerrela balls breaded and crispy served on a plate with a small arugala salad and a bowl of marinara. Our entrees were lasagna for spouse, chicken marsala for me. Serving sizes were ample and quick. My marsala was rich and generous in the amount of mushrooms and roasted potato cubes… too much for me to finish. The warm rolls with the warmed bean, olive oil, rosemary dip were delightful. I would most definitely eat here again.

Appetizers are fantastic, salads fantastic, service is exceptional. We’re from Chicago and tend to be picky about Italian food, but this beats the heck out of a lot of Italian restaurants in our area in Chicagoland. Monir is an excellent manager. Took very nice care of us, answering our detailed questions regarding menu. Will definitely come back next time in town.

My first time here and will definitely come back. Great fresh pasta, food was really good & flavorfulI had the Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli and my husband had the Tagliolini and the Spicy Arrabiata sauce. For dessert we ordered the Chocolate Cake and the Tiramisu. Service was acceptable considering it was a busy Sat night. Wait staff very friendly and accommodating.

Very nice neighborhood restaurant. Homemade pasta, great sauces, overall superb food. Service was outstanding. Only thing it needs is to be decorated in a little more«up market» style to get a solid 5 stars.

My husband and I stopped here on a Tuesday night while car hunting all over Nashville. We ordered a dinner special they happened to run out of, and in turn comp’d one of our appetizers, desserts and espresso’s. We didn’t ask them to do that, but it was a nice unexpected gesture. The food was appetizing, and better than we expected! The pasta sauce was delicious. It’s a hole-in-the-wall restaurant I would DEFINITELY return to.

This is hands down the best place for pasta Alfredo I have EVER had. The pasta and sauce is made in house and is delicious! I have been coming here for years and have always had a great meal and great experience. The lunch menu is great deal! Def. go try it!

I want them to do well. I feel like the kitchen started soundly on good, fresh pastas. I’ve been a fan of most of the dishes since they were on Demonbreun. I remember a salmon carpaccio that was superb. But Mirko’s has usually had kind of a «almost there but not quite» feel for me. Whether it’s the insistence of serving their good rolls with a bland white bean paste dip(more salt helps) or some consistently poor attitudes/training/hires for front of house, I don’t know. Anyway, we lately(and I noticed a similar recent review) had an interaction with a hostess and another employee or two that ended with the words: never mind, we will go someplace else. If your hostess is so poorly trained in customer service that her body language(shoegazing, sighing, and then reluctantly resigning to go ask) about ordering food to go 25 minutes before closing results in long time customers wanting to throw in the towel… I’m left with a long running hunch that somewhere at the top there is a fear of embracing the service side of food, or a reluctant bitterness. Maybe I prefer that explanation over simple incompetence. Either way, I’m sad. *edit: I mistakenly dropped this review on the Mt Juliet location. I apologize to them and leave it here correctly.

First things first, I didn’t have high expectations for this place because it was in a strip mall. Very biased of me, I know. The environment is casual and family friendly. Our server was great, she was very attentive and made some great recommendations. Now moment of truth, the food. I didn’t care for their complimentary breadsticks, they were hard and cold. Otherwise my food was delicious! I ordered the pomodoro soup and chose to build my own pasta with the gnocchi, pesto sauce and mushrooms. The soup was rich and creamy. The gnocchi was perfectly soft and fluffy. The portion was huge, so I had plenty to take home. My family had the grouper special and the shrimp scampi and throughly enjoyed their meals as well. We lucked out and came on a Wednesday night, which is HALFPRICED wine bottles! They also have other specials though out the week. Overall I’m glad I gave this place a chance as it exceeded my expectations. The food is good and the pricing is reasonable. Definitely will be come back for the drink specials and gnocchi!

The best chicken parmigiana I’ve ever eaten. Moist chicken and delicious pasta and sauce. My husband enjoyed chicken Piccata and liked the fact they used a sweet wine instead of dry. His vegetables were al dente and the mashed potatoes were hearty. The portions were large, couldn’t eat it all. If you’re looking for some amazing Italian, check out Mirko’s.

Quite impressed. They automatically bring out warm rolls and a white bean with olive oil and rosemary dip that that is a very nice combination of flavors. I started with the caprese salad which was large enough for two and the buffalo mozzarella was fresh and yummy for my entrée I had the ravioli stuffed with smoked gouda topped with an alfredo sauce and caramelized onions the ravioli was al dente has it should be and the combinations of flavors were excellent and of course it was very rich. The service was friendly and attentive the price was reasonable for the quality of food not cheap but certainly not expensive I would highly recommend it and will definitely go back again

I give this place 3 stars only because the the staffs were nice, but the food I give two stars! Tuscan stew is what’s shown in the picture above, most of the sea food was not Fully cooked. The shell fish was partially open which means that either the fish was no good, or it was half cooked, i’ve eaten this Dish lots of times at Carraba’s and yet to find anyone that can even come close to them! My daughter couldn’t not finish her food because it was awful she had chicken Alfredo that taste like milk!

The food here was a good value for what you get. We were told all the pasta sauce is made to order. When we got the food, the pastas looked great and tasted okay. Nothing memorable. I got the sausage, sage, & apple ravioli with pomodoro sauce(tomato sauce). The sauce is pretty good. A little sweet, which I like. The ravioli pasta was good but the filling could have had more flavor and been more fresh. My wife had spinach pasta with a white wine sauce. The sauce again was tasty but the pasta didn’t have any distinct flavors. The fresh mozzarella was cheese but not fresh. The free bean dip was very good and tasty. The Italian nachos were surprisingly good but seemed to be fried pasta with Alfredo sauce. Overall it was good, not great. We may return if we want just pasta. Oh, BTW, avoid the meatballs… frozen mass produced. Not home made.
