I will warn you that you may get lost attempting to find your way to Peter Nappi but I can also say in my same breath that it’s worth every frustrated minute of screaming at your GPS.

The original Nappi, Peter himself was born in Italy in the late 1800’s and perfected the art of boot making. He moved his business and family to the United States and now his heritage lives on with his grandson Phillip Nappi and his family who burst into the Nashville artisan shoe and apparel scene last year. You can find beautifully hand crafted Men’s and Women’s shoes, bags, belts, watches, cuffs, and even gorgeous furniture and housewares in this lofty studio. Albeit, I am frustrated that the bulk of the offerings are leather (I’m vegan) but have to admit that the craftsmanship is classic and simply stunning.
The studio is a beautifully appointed space that instantly feels like you’ve been transported to another world with all the beautiful rustic design elements. A large stage is in the belly of the room with a grand piano, drums, and guitars propped perfectly on it. Several seating areas are sprinkled throughout the workroom and design nooks but you can’t miss the old world bar either… what a beaut! This space also becomes a perfect venue for the Nappi family to host events and concerts for their friends and customers. Just today they had Andy Davis coming in to provide entertainment for a couple of hours in the early evening but started their concert series off on the right foot with The Fray who wowed a crowd of several hundred attendees with their hits.
If you’re in the market to invest in quality pieces, give Peter Nappi a well-​deserved chance and you won’t regret it.
