They offer an abundance of service for homeless people in Nashville. Its amazing how many volunteer opportunities they have.
I guess it takes a lot to keep this organization going. They say that they have about 6,000 volunteers, 180 congregations and a downtown campus location that shelters 1400 men and women during the winter season november 1st to march 31st. They have programs to get back into school and work, finding permanent housing, therapy for recovery from trauma and so on. If homelessness is an important cause to you, this is probably a good organization to work with!
