This was absolutely the worst dining experience I have ever had. I went with my friend and after 15 minutes of seating ourselves I had to go to the hostess to ask if and when our server would get to us. The floor was filthy, covered in food and straw wrappers. My friend never even received silverware and ended up using my extra fork. After she ordered a margarita, she had to constantly keep asking where it was before she told our«server» not to bother. When we tasted our raw burgers that for some reason had soaking wet buns, we decided to leave immediately. Shockingly, our server didn’t get our tabs correct when we asked him to split it evenly, and after several minutes of waiting another server split them for us while ours was no where to be found. Not only will I never return to this location, I will never go to a Ruby Tuesday again.

I love the food but service is the worse took almost 20 minutes just to get spaghetti squash with marinara sauce on the side

Though the main manager tried to accommodate I could tell that there was a slight ritzie attitude behind her aid. Our server, though new, was awesome and tried her best to accommodate. This rating doesn’t reflect her at all…

This location is pretty deserving of its average rating. Service was friendly but on the slow side. Had to remind bartender to bring me my beer. Salad bar was also thinly stocked, for instance no mushrooms, no cottage cheese, no croutons, and no sunflower seeds. Those are standard at every other Ruby Tuesday’s salad bar I have ever been to. Buffalo chicken sliders and fries were hot and tasty, though they took quite a while to come out from the kitchen. On a Monday night at 8 o’clock, they should be out lickety-split. Menu prices are also really high for a fast casual restaurant.

It was my first time here with my family and I was pretty disappointed with the service to my super chewy steak. Our waiter or waitress(too many people«helping» us) kept forgetting about our biscuits. Overall save your money there’s plenty of other nice restaurants to eat at in the area.

The only reason I’m giving a star is because you can’t mess up a salad bar. Awful service. Took 10 mins to get a server to the table, then never got a refill, waiting for the check took another 15 mins. The bus boy had to find our server to get it. Awful.

First of all, my wife really likes their Cosmos, so we’ll probably going back soon. We started with the Asian dumplings, and they were outstanding. We had the crab cake dinner, and I was a little surprised that it only included one crab cake. However, with the appetizer and the salad bar, one was plenty. Our server was the bartender, and she did an awesome job. The service was quick and the drinks were delicious.

I’ve been to other Ruby Tuesday Restaurants in other cities and I found the quality of food in other places to be better. The food here was«ok» but nothing to write home about. The service on the other hand, was stellar. My waiter, Jared, was really friendly and courteous. I enjoyed the experience overall, but as I said, the food could be better. They don’t have many vegetarian options anymore and the salad bar suited my needs I suppose.

Food was ok had the california flat bread. Salad bar above average. Service slow with a slow lunch rush. I could see 5 empty tables while we were there. It is an ok choice if you are in green hills and want cheap food

If you are looking forward to a great salad from what used to be a good salad bar, you might ought to pass. Lettuce and mayo filled sides is the best it has to offer. It is really a shame that the quality and consistency of this chain in Green Hills is not up to par to the«Simple and Fresh» image RT’s promotes. Waitstaff was helpful, but very disappointed. After talking with some friends in the area about my experience, they advised that it has been going downhill for several months. Wish I would have known prior!

Every time I’ve visited I’ve had a pleasant experience. I love Ruby Tuesday’s food, and the waiters and waitresses at this location have all been friendly and accommodating. I won’t rate the restaurant itself, as this is a chain, but I have found discrepancies between the standards of various locations of the same chain restaurant in the past.

I don’t have a problem with chain restaurants. I like trying any place that offers food. Besides, I’ve never been to a Ruby Tuesday, as the closest one to my old place was 50 miles away in San Jose. So, who in the world goes to a Ruby Tuesday and tries the ribs? Me. I can’t help it. I love ribs and BBQ sauce. And if it’s on a menu, 99% of the time, I will try it, regardless of the type of restaurant. And 75% of the time, they are passable to me. Had the ribs, the mashed cauliflower, and the cheese biscuits. Sadly, the only part of the meal that I enjoyed were the dry and very crumbly biscuits. They were tasty, and after barely touching the rest of the meal, I realized that I wanted more of the biscuits. The cauliflower mash was extremely bitter. I think the bitterness is usually due to overcooking(or I may have a genetic sensitivity to them, just as some people have a genetic sensitivity to cilantro). And as for the ribs — I didn’t even finish it. It was dry, with hardly any of the fatty goodness I expect in my ribs. Whatever barbecue sauce was used was painted on sparingly. Waiter was nice, but when he took my cheese biscuit plate away, he also took away the handi-wipes I had intended to use after I tried the ribs. The dining area was dark and I think I was seated directly under the air conditioning vent. I arrived around 5PM on a weekday, and there was hardly anyone around. By the time I was done with my meal, the booths and the tables around me were filling up quickly. It was only after I was leaving the restaurant did I notice that they had a decent salad bar. Apparently, they walked me to my table via a different route.

The Little Black Dress Club Nashville Chapter held a happy hour here on Wednesday night from 4:30−6pm. We had seven women in our party. The service was excellent. Our server, Shawn, could not have been any better or more attentive. The $ 5 absolute cocktails and the $ 5 appetizers where perfect for our ladies and everything was delicious. LBDC would highly recommend a week night happy hour at the Green Hills Ruby Tuesday. ~Shay Ashcraft Co Director, Nashville Chapter

Consistent good food. Friendly prompt service. The salad bar tops any I know. Reasonable prices. I can always get what I expect.

This is a great, inexpensive late night food joint. I know it’s a chain, but every time we go the service is friendly and the food is exactly as you’d expect. It’s fairly hard to get late night grub in Green Hills, so I really appreciate that they have the late hours that they do. And when a game is on, it’s perfect. Food is okay, service is great, they’ve got me as a return customer.

The main draw for this place is that they generally have an above average salad bar. This is what led hubs and me to eat here on a recent Sunday night. We were seated at a booth in the bar area. This was a bit of a turn-off but I didn’t complain. No one was smoking, so it wasn’t as murky as I’d feared. The service was slow. It took the guy several minutes just to approach our table. We both ordered a slider combo that included the salad bar and fries. Hubs got the turkey sliders, and I opted for the exotic sounding zucchini sliders. The salad bar wasn’t as good this night as it’s previously been. The beets were a strange brown shade and they were missing several salads that we’ve enjoyed(including the pea salad). It was alright, though. They still had those rye(possibly homeade) croutons. We waited a long time for our sliders. Our server apologized and said the kitchen was backed up. It didn’t look all that crowded, so we didn’t get that. The zucchini sliders ended up being just… okay. I liked the crunch but the insides were unsettlingly soggy. The couple of handfuls of fries were good. I tried a bite of my husband’s turkey slider and it, too was just… okay. The price was great! For both of us to have sliders, fries, and the salad bar was only $ 21(not including tip). So, we’ll likely go back…

Giving them 3 stars is generous at best. My grandma often gets coupons for Ruby Tuesday’s and takes my girlfriend and me there when she has a coupon and wants to go out to eat. The food here, aside from the salad bar(always good and fresh, based on my experience), has been rather inconsistent. On this recent trip we tried their new«cheddar biscuits». If you are a fan of a certain seafood chain, the dish should sound familiar, but tastes no where near is good. The biscuits were a lame copy cat as they were rather dry and had little cheese taste. Granted it is new, so they may still be trying to get the recipe right, but I mean come on, a friend of mine makes better cheddar biscuits than even that seafood restaurant, and she uses Pancake Mix! I had a parmesan shrimp penne with tomato. Emphasis on the«with», as the pieces of tomato were diced to the size of a pea… where is the umami in that? What I will give them is there was a generous portion of shrimp on the pasta. Most places, when you order say shrimp alfredo or something, give you about half a dozen medium or large shrimp. This dish, had at least a dozen medium, perfectly cooked, shrimp on it. If only they had not over-seasoned them as most of them tasted more of pepper, rather than tomato, cheese or shrimp. My girlfriend had a salad, and as I said earlier, where this place does seem to shine is in the fresh vegetables they have, particularly on the salad bar. Speaking of fresh, my grandma got herself cajun fried shrimp with a baked potato and snap peas. I tried some of the shrimp, and even for cajun style and fried, they were still a bit over seasoned. Originally my grandma wanted asparagus instead of peas, but as asparagus was not in season(nor were green beans) they did not have any available. Vegetarian paradise, maybe, but as I am not a vegetarian, I am not qualified to say. Be that as it may, someone in the kitchen is far to liberal with the seasonings, particularly pepper. As such, with the possible exception of Tofu(depending on who you talk to), I can’t name any food item — meat, seafood, pasta, vegetable or fruit — that benefits from large amounts of seasoning. I want to taste the food, not just the seasonings applied to it. Eating is an experience, and granted, though I am Jewish; I subscribe to the Japanese belief in food and kitchen implements being sacred, and deserving of respect. Each ingredient, particularly main ones, should be brought out with seasonings to their full potential, not seasoned to the point of only tasting the seasoning.

The place has some issues. The first being the motto«we serve drinks, not drunks» — this I understand, i can get behind this, if they served drinks. What they served for $ 6 was a watered down something that vaguely tasted like it might have some alcohol in it. I have no problem with that being your slogan if you didn’t charge premium prices for kool-aid and a thimble of vodka. The veggie fare is ok, you can take a vegetarian here and they will thrive. The salad bar is great, if too expensive, and the service is generally pretty nice with my only incident being right after they started watering down the drinks when I politely asked if there was any alcohol in the thing and was informed by a manager and a large waiter that was not mine that they have extremely strict amounts they can dole out and the bartender could be fired for making something with more alcohol than prescribed. I was like ok, I don’t need any answer other than«we’re making extremely weak drinks now, don’t bother purchasing them»… if they had a decent beer selection I’d consider it a reasonable trade off, but nope… So, the place is ok

Stopped in on Saturday for the new Ruby Tuesday’s Brunch. I would describe it as decent but pricey. The REAL problem seems to be: «Don’t Be First». The Brunch offers free biscuits with your meal, but they don’t start cooking them until the first person arrives. Which is great, UNLESSYOUARETHEFIRSTPERSON. I suspect Ruby Tuesdays needs to advertise a little better for the Brunch or lower the price a bit because for the entire meal, it was just my girlfriend and I. The food itself WAS very good, but we spent an hour total waiting for all the courses to arrive and the bill at the end was nearly 40 dollars with tip.
