The Beveled Edge

I love this store. Very nice, welcoming and helpful staff. They have a ton of local «Nashville» art/​prints/​etc. for the home/​office. A lot of southern-​inspired flair, in general. My wife and I bought a few different pieces recently that we are thrilled with. We had one piece custom framed in record breaking turn-​around time. We will be back.

Found this place online after looking for a certain product, they had it in stock and the young lady that helped me also let me know that they had a couple of pieces half price (Christmas items). Beveled Edge is known for framing, but they have a beautiful gift store with unique gifts and friendly service, I will definitely return!

Not cool. Closed doors and locked before closing time. I drove across town for this. Won’t be coming back.

I called and described a special framing project. After discussing the project, the woman said, «bring it in.»
When I brought my project to the store, I was told «we don’t do projects like that.»
Sheesh. Big waste of time and gasoline.
Plus, it seems mostly to be a shop for knick-​knacks and frou-​frou stuff. Framing’s in the back. Not sure whether it’s the primary business or just a sideline. I doubt I’ll ever go back.

Half price Xmas items today 27^th Dec, Lots of goodies for under $ 10.
How could I not have been here before, my new favourite gift shop. Half the store is the original picture framing business with an additional selection of cards and coffee table books. The other section is chocca full of luxurious candles ranging from around $ 15-​$ 60, gorgeous ornaments, napkins, dish cloths, games etc.
Today’s plunder, a flour sack towel, New Yorker napkins, butterfly stone coasters, christmas bird fluffy ornament, Christmas cardboard box and a birthday card $ 50.
Pablo bought two fluffy baby owls for a total of $ 11.

I have been coming to The Beveled Edge for several years to have things framed.
Price is the only barrier here, as getting your treasures framed is not cheap. But the people here have always done a wonderful job and several of the things they have done for me still hang proudly in my house. If you want to do it yourself, go somewhere else. If you want to pay someone to do it, this is the place.

After picking up my dry cleaning I was attracted to the Beveled Edge because of all the shiny, sparkly things in the window. I am extremely attracted to glittery Christmas decorations in golds, silvers, reds, and greens and their window was full of just that!
So this place does framing and looks to be fairly extensive in options. Luckily I am not in the market to have things framed — not sure my bank account could handle that right before the holidays. They also have ready made frames that you can buy as gifts or for those snapshots you have and want to display.
BUT they also have tons of other stuff. Gift items. Who doesn’t love a store with quirky, cool, unique gift items? Things I loved: ok, all the Christmas ornaments (bought some for my dad’s birthday present and also some SEC football team ornaments for coworkers), Christmas décor, Christmas themed books (the Onion does Christmas!!), greeting cards for all occasions, postcards and framed postcards of Nashville landmarks, personalized jewelry, coffee table books, and SO ON. Looking for a little something for someone that has everything? Perhaps give this place a browse and see what you come up with!
