C & D Nails

Used to like this place… not anymore. The people that work there are not as friendly as they used to be…
They say they take walk-​ins, but when you «walk in» they are usually irritated even when no other clients are there!
My nails came out good if I had color but if I had a french manicure (with tips) you could see those buffing circles…
A big NO NO… Its a shame this place went downhill… as far as pedi’s I never thought they did a great job… no hot towels, a 30 second calf massage, that’s it… the toenail paint came out alright… but I expect the whole deal for a pedicure… so Im sorry to say I will not be back…

Went in to get a French manicure and a pedicure for my prom. My toes came out fantastic but as far as my fingers went, they seemed like they had never even seen fingers before. They cut my nails to uneven lengths and two different shapes. One of my thumb nails was round and the other was square. Then they painted on the French manicure when I had specifically asked for the acrylics. I was very disappointed and left even more of a wreck because any girl that has gone to a high school prom knows how stressful that day can be. Later on at prom a friend pointed out that one of the nails had completely chipped off, I was at prom there was no way that there was something I did to cause it, so either their quality polish is poor or their lack of care in doing nails is the problem. Either way I was very upset and I would not recommend going to get your nails done here if you want them done as you’ve asked or if you want them to last longer than a few hours.

I’ve been going to C&D Nails for a very long time. They do a wonderful job, the price is reasonable and they are quick.
I currently see Cindy, who is not only a great technician but a very friendly one. I enjoy my time at C&D Nails, I always look forward to my mani — pedi. I can’t wait to go this week.

I went to get a full set w a French for a wedding my technician had no personality at all! And he did a awful job the acrylic started chipping three days later and he did cover my whole nail w the acrylic and 5 days later my clear polish over the French started turning yellow! Spend a little more some where else do not go here at all !

David usually does my mani-​padi and he is just awesome. I’ve gone to many different places before so I can compare. David was NEVER late for me and he never rushed me. My feet grow a lot of calluses, but after my appointment it feels baby smooth. He also gives the best massage ever, not just rubbes lotion in for 2 minutes like many other places, he actually massages! So every time I leave this place I feel relaxed and pampered. I’m working as a hairstylist a mile away and already sent a lot of people to c&d and they were very happy with the experience. Highly recommend this place.

I went to C&D Nails for the first time and I will definately be going back! A woman named Cindy did my nails. I had a color change and design on all of my fingernails and a color change and design on one big toe. The total cost was $ 28.00. The design that Cindy came up with was painstakingly done one little dot, brushstroke or line at a time. She created a breathtaking fantasy flower miniature work of art on my fingernails and toe. Her hand was as steady as a rock as she used her little toothpick-​type «brush» to create the artwork. Every time that I look at my nails, I smile. I had this done on a Thursday evening after work and it’s now Monday afternoon and the design is still perfect even after my doing housework, laundry, dishes, etc. I can’t wait to see what Cindy comes up with next time. I’m thinking of asking her for a fireworks motif! My only complaint is that after she put the base coat on my toenails, she left me sitting in the chair and went to to do a color change on another customer. If it wasn’t for this, I would give the salon five stars.

I hate to say it, but I won’t be coming back here again. We had terrible service here today and the results were awful — bad polish job, everything sped up and no time spent. The technicians were rude and there was a line of people out the door. They don’t know how to handle their clients and rush them in and out, the job they did was horrible. No thought or care was given, and that’s a shame when you pay a lot of money to have mani/​pedis at a salon and you could have done it yourself for a lot less.

I have NO idea what’s going on in the state of Massachusetts, why ya’ll think it’s totally ok to pay $ 50 for a pedicure in a dump, I’ll never know. I had pretty much accepted the fact that I would just go with jacked up feet for the duration of my stay here, but finally found C&D, with *gasp* reasonable prices and quality service! I wish I knew the guy’s name that did my set of acrylics and toes, but I have the attention span of a goldfish… anyway, they turned out great every time I’ve gone in and not overpriced.
But don’t all start going at once, they might raise the prices and then where will I be?
