Very knowledgable staff at this place can fix almost anything, or will tell you if it’s not worth it. Good turn around time. They can work on professional audio and video stuff, as well as ancient(vacuum tube) stuff.

Granted, the nearest factory authorized repair center in Norwood charges $ 200 flat fee, while this shop might take in equipment for $ 40, but as far as responsible communication goes, CS&TV should be considered last ditch. The rep. running day in operations was never to return a call to our listed home phone, and yelled at me that his mother died(!!!) when I stopped by to see if my DVD player was salvagable. Even if that was true(and I’ve heard the same excuse from borderline personality disorder or alcoholic folks frequently), no PROFESSIONAL would bounce out a customer with work on bench with such rudeness. A week later-and prob. 4 phone calls to him-he gives it back and tells me he shouldn’t have taken it in. Darn right… I opened the casing, found that a disc pressure arm was pushing too hard… worked it back(at my own risk of «bending plastic» aka breakage), and my unit was golden. I have no doubt that this shop, 40 years in business or one day, makes the customer feel like turd… it’s a basement caddy shack outfit, where they decide which units/and customers to bash. Avoid at all costs!
