Waterspot

I regret that I didn’t check the Unilocal review early. Similar bad experience happens to me:
1. Hidden shipping cost
2. Extreme long delay without update
Ordered three lights from them on ⁸⁄₁₆ and the last light was shipped on ¹⁰⁄₁₀. Besides the extreme long delay, you have to pay extra shipping cost (Cash on deliver) because the order is shipped by the third party so the cost has to covered by you, the customers.
I am pretty sure I was not informed any shipping cost as I expected to pick up the order from their store. The shipping cost was charged from my credit card without my authorization.
I was told that the order will be shipped in two weeks. However, I heard nothing from them so I have to called in twice. Again, no update on your order from them.
If you want to order from them, my suggestions are:
1. pay by check or cash
2. make sure you don’t mind to wait extra long delay or you have to call them every week

Ask for Amy! She is amazing! She helped me fully decorate two bathrooms and they came out gorgeous. Water spot has a great selection of things to make any bathroom beautiful. Amy was so great at figuring out my style and then identifying what things I should get to make my home look just how I wanted. She is such a pleasure to work with. Amy is patient, helpful, has an amazing sense of style and a wealth of knowledge. Not only did she help me pick out each accessory and part for my bathrooms but after when the contractor came to install everything she was constantly answering questions and offering advice to make what could have been a painful process, very delightful. I have never had a better experience at any store. I can’t say enough about the AMAZING AMY!

I ordered a Duravit vanity and Hansgrohe tub/​shower fixtures from Waterspot. Waterspot could not have done more to screw up my order or less to remedy its mistakes. The problems with my order were as follows:
1. The shower fixtures were NOT ordered until I inquired where they were six weeks after my credit card was charged for them. This caused a two week delay in closing in my shower walls while I waited for parts to arrive. Waterspot did nothing to make up for this mistake.
2. Waterspot incorrectly spec’d my shower parts such that water sprayed from the tub spout while I showered. This forced me to open the wall behind the shower to install a new valve after the shower had been tiled and grouted. Due to its mistake Waterspot offered me «substantially discounted» prices on the additional parts. However, these prices were still significantly more than I found online. I then asked Waterspot to eat the cost of the parts (not the installation) due to its error. In response to Waterspot took another 15% off the parts. I ended up buying the correct parts online where they were still 20% less than Waterspot’s final quote.
3. For extra fun, after being told by our sales person Amy that Waterspot would take back the parts it incorrectly sold me and two weeks after returning the parts, I was told they would not accept them back because they had been installed.
4. My Duravit vanity arrived 5.5 weeks after Waterspot’s first confirmed delivery date and 2.5 weeks after its second confirmed delivery date. During this period, my vanity was allowed to sit in Atlanta for at least 2 weeks while Waterspot filled a truck. Waterspot also ignored my request for a less-​than-​truckload shipping quote so that I could receive the vanity sooner. As a result of these missed delivery dates, I needed to install a temporary vanity to have a working bathroom. At no time during this process did Waterspot reach out to me to let me know of the delay, I only learned of it after calling/​e-​mailing when delivery dates were missed. Waterspot took no responsibility for this delay.
Shop elsewhere because the service you receive here is not worth the premium you pay.

This place is amazing! Excellent selection and the sales staff are very knowledgable and nice! I highly recommend this store if you are looking to upgrade a bathroom or building a new home etc. They have it all

We renovated our master bathroom and purchased all of the bathroom hardware and fixtures as well as the sink basin and toilet from Waterspot. The store has a great selection of high-​end products and our salesperson, Linda, was excellent. She listened to my descriptions of the look I hoped to achieve and expertly directed me to several options. She provided accurate information on lead times.
When one fixture had a scratch, she exchanged it, and when a towel bar was different than the specs indicated, she negotiated with the dealer for an exchange as well. Linda always got back to me in a timely manner. She was patient, thorough and professional. I expect a excellent service from a store that sells high-​end products, and Waterspot and Linda met those expectations. I love my new bathroom, and will return to Waterspot when I renovate the other full bath in our home.

So rude! My husband and I went in looking for a new kitchen sink. The sales reps stared at us as we tried to determine the prices of items (there are no price tags) we finally asked for help and the response was I’ll find someone else to help you, I need 5 minutes to eat something! After this rediculous response we hunted down the receptionist who was not at the front desk to put our name on a list?! A list? Worst customer service ever! We walked out

Linda was my salesperson and she was just wonderful! She looked thru a million books to find just what I needed, and I was pretty picky, with specific space limitations. She hunted with me to stay in my budget, was friendly and so very helpful.
I have been to several kitchen/​bath stores where the people were snotty — but now I know where to go for great service and beautiful products.

We had a great experience with this place. Our saleslady, Linda, was extremely helpful to the point of going above and beyond by making sure that the fixtures and cabinets that we picked matched our needs. Every time we had any questions, she was very quick to answer or email us the information that we need. I am happy to recommend them.

I really don’t want to write this report. I spent probably 40 hours at Waterspot with a very helpful SA picking out over $ 10,000 worth of items for a full kitchen, bar and 4 bathrooms. We didn’t do anything standard and the person who helped us was helpful upon ordering. The problems came once we gave our credit card and started receiving items. A few things never arrived. I ended up having to speak with the owner after 3 phone calls to my SA. I ended up receiving one item over a month after I was told it was in the warehouse in Alston. In addition an error was made ordering a sink because they didn’t check to get a sink with the right number of holes. This cost me $ 250 for the plumber to come out and then have to leave since we had the wrong item. Then we weren’t told to measure our pipes for a vanity. I’m not sure who’s fault this was but the vanity which I waited 4 months to receive because of back order didn’t fit my pipes (which isn’t an unusual configuration). Now I need to hire a furniture maker with a quote of $ 600 to alter the vanity which cost $ 800. They also delivered things to the wrong house and delivered an item and charged me for it when it had been canceled before the order was actually placed. As soon as I paid, the follow up was poor. Even meeting with the owner didn’t help in any way. At this point I would have expected an apology call and assistance in rectifying all of the errors. I went to this place because it was convenient and the SA seemed knowledgeable. It ended up costing me A LOT extra money for numerous misorders and improper information and seriously slowed my entire project down. Unfortunately I really can only say «stay away!»

Nice showroom, great staff, prices more reasonable than you think.
We worked with Jody, explained to her what we were looking for and she came up with a great design at a very reasonable price. She took the time to find exactly what we wanted.
I highly recommend this place.

I read the recent review about Amy at Waterspot, and I was really surprised. Amy was really helpful when we renovated our kitchen and bathroom. She was incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of our renovation, and she recommended fixtures that were completely in our price range. She even helped us find a good contractor. We had none of the issues with items being late, not showing up, or not arriving in perfect working order that the other review mentions. I would definitely recommend Amy and Waterspot to anyone.

Our contractor recommended Amy at Waterspot to help us pick out fixtures for our kitchen and two bathrooms last summer. We immediately took a liking to her. She’s very personable. However, I’ve rarely been more disappointed by a supplier for the service we received especially since the prices they ask are very high.
How were we disappointed?
== On some of pieces she ordered the wrong sized parts. Even though she had a copy of our plans, she ordered the wrong size toilet. We could not return it. We had to spend over $ 400 to move pipes to accommodate the toilet.
== Left out parts that were needed that we had to order from her. Some how she ‘forgot’ that we needed a $ 600 diverter valve. If we had know how much the shower package was going to be we would have looked elsewhere.
== Promised delivery of items that she knew typically would be delivered months later. She was our only supplier that substantially held up completion of our job.
== One of the things we learned is that while the fixtures are beautiful, we had several problems with defective parts. Waterspot has no capacity to do repairs. The pass off all problems to factory reps. We had 4 pieces that could not be installed correctly. They were loose and wobbled. They were able to correctly tighten the bathroom spout but the bathroom faucet handles still wobbles. The most annoying thing was the Grohe kitchen faucet which had a design flaw – it lacks an aerator and so splashes terribly. Amy and the Grohe rep both insisted that there was nothing wrong with it. Amy absolutely refused to exchange for another faucet. She claimed no one else had a problem with this faucet. Our contractor took pity on us and graciously offered to install a different faucet. We got one at Costco that we actually like better and cost ¹⁄₃ of what Amy’s defective faucet cost.
Amy will give you the impression that she will take care of you, but the truth is that she lacks the knowledge and the store policies work against it. We spent over $ 10,000 at her store and they do not stand behind their products. Look elsewhere.

I would have given it a zero if I could have. This place is a joke. We went there on a Saturday in the middle of the day during their normal hours and they were closed. We sat in the parking lot with a benz and waited to see if anyone would show up or come out or anything. We went back a few days later. There were four or five people working and about four or five people in the store. The host lady was rude and acted like we were wasting her time. She said it would be a long long wait and that she couldn’t help us with anything, then she went back to doing next to nothing. Look elsewhere, this place treats people like garbage.

If searching for a place to *physically* look at bath or kitchen items, then Waterspot is not a bad spot. They have many items on display.
I came here looking for a Toto toilet and some fixtures and boy was I disappointed. Disappointed not by selection as they just order from a catalog and distributor nearby, but for service. Service is horrible. There were perhaps 3 other customers in the store with 5+ sales staff when I entered the store. The ratio should be favorable for quick service. So let’s re-​enact shall we?
Walk through the door and we were not greeted by anyone. Browsed for about 10 – 15 mins still no greeting, barely a bat of an eyelash while walking the entire length of store. Ended up in front of a sales staff member who sat near the front on the left side. She was getting off the phone. Was told to wait. She, an older lady, got off the phone. I waited. Watched her respond to 2 emails. I waited. I then asked for some help with bath products. Watched her half heartedly think about my inquiry before thumbing through some books. I asked for pricing then she proceeded to ask for my information to order the toilet. What? huh? I declined to offer my info. I didn’t even say that I was going to buy it (from her), just asked for pricing. I asked why she wanted my info. She said because she wants the credit for the sale. Excuse me? What? Am I a sucker or something? Let me see. You barely assisted us and you want our sale? Methinks not! THEN she started to be a bit more pleasant to us to try to help us find other items. We left shortly…
WOW. I shall never come here again for anything. I have money and will not spend money at a store that treats customers in such a way. Its not like their items are cheap…
