If I could give it no stars I would. I have never written a review on Unilocal but this is by far the worse experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Chinese lady was really rude to me. Husband was ordering food and I went to go use the restroom and she stopped me by saying I can’t and pointed to the door. Then she said if I wanted to use it if have to buy a soda. The sign says, «restrooms for customers only.» We’re ordering food means we are customers. She kept insisting we buy soda so I could use the restroom. By then, everyone was staring at me. Long story short, we still went ahead and bought something because it would’ve been rude to just leave. And I ended up using the restroom but she didn’t even apologize. My husband and I won’t be coming back. I tend to buy my husband and his shipmates food and bring it to the naval base and I’ve been looking for a Chinese place close to them. But like I said, I won’t be coming back and I’ll be sure to let them know as well. I have never been treated so horribly.

Love the salt and pepper chicken wings, best thing on the menu. They are always quick to seat you and bring your food out fast.

Really good food. Definitely a little hole in the wall but the food was delicious. Salt pepper chicken wings are on point and the s/p calamari as well. Good customer service, I was very impressed.

Good food and good service! Salt and pepper pork chop is the bomb! Service is pleasant. Ten to fifteen minutes wait on your food so it’s cool. I like this place.

I haven’t tried anything but the salt and pepper chicken wings when I come to visit San Diego. Cannot get enough of it. Last night I added the Chinese broccoli and that was outstanding! Wish I knew where I could get the salt and pepper chicken wings in Los Angeles!

Had lunch here today. super fast friendly service. Food was pretty tasty. not spicy but very nice. I give it 4 stars parking is a little bit of an effort and not as good as Manderin in Chula Vista. but great place.

I had a hard time finding this place, but it was worth the fight. Yummy Americanized Chinese food at better prices than the others in the neighborhood. I tried the shrimp egg foo young and crab rangoons, would recommend both. Check out their website for a full menu, they didn’t have one available when I stopped by.

This review is solely based off the wings and the duck. Mostly the duck. I can’t get enough. So crispy and moist and flavorful! Everything else is pretty decent. Their bbq pork soft noodles and spicy chicken is great. Actually not a fan of their rice and I’m a rice fiend. Good food, good amount, great prices. Happy eating!

Amazing Food! Service just got better which makes it even better! They always have good deals, the taste of the food is incredible and on a good day, you can catch the owner doing some sort of martial arts movements with a fan. Creates a good ambiance! The place could use a renovation, like decorating wise but it’s kinda nice to get that«old» feel from time to time. It feels more authentic I don’t know why…

Panda Palace has been my favorite Chinese spot since 1992, when my family moved to the San Diego area. They have all the standards but it’s the Salted Pepper Chicken Wing(sic) that stands as my favorite all these years. I was only in junior high when I started going here and now I’m looking to bring my boy along. Mmmm… can’t wait!

This is the place to go if you want a great lunch at a minimal cost. Lunch is $ 4.95; I kid you not. Large helpings of everything too( ) The lunch special comes with rice, two entrees, two chicken wings, soup and a spring roll. You won’t be hungry until dinner if you eat here for lunch! The ladies who work here are very friendly and knowledgeable in their menu. If you don’t know what to get, ask them!

My all-time favorite Chinese restaurant! It is underrated, and that’s for sure. My family and I have been going here since the 90s, when I was just a toddler… And now I’m 20! Can you believe that? The manager knows us on a personal level, as well. The usual: Panda fried rice, Mandarin basket, Half crispy chicken, and Crispy beef. Egg drop soup, here and there. These entrees are the perfect combination of savory, spice, and sweet. The people working are always so kind. There are fresher faces now, too! Still learning, but perfect customer service, as usual. It’s also inexpensive!!! Who doesn’t love Chinese food that is not pricey?!
