The Children’s Place

Great clothes and prices. Sales prices help a lot. They gave us the sale price for an item that was placed with the sale accessories. Busy store and not enough associates, but that’s okay because I don’t expect much from Plaza Bonita stores. My favorite is still the CRAZY 8 at Otay Ranch Mall.

DO YOUR RETURNS BEFORE YOU BUY. Like the products, the clothes last long a long time. My mother in law gave me some shorts for the kids. Loved them but slightly too small so I went into the store to buy the right size and found loads of shirts that I liked and walked away with over 500.00 in excellent clothes. At the end of the day when we decided what to keep and what to return Children’s place insisted on giving a gift card for the two pairs of shorts that were sightly too small that my mother-​in-​law had given me.
I get that when you are just returning an item with no receipt but all the tags. My issue is that I had a receipt showing the 500.00 in purchases. I’d spent my money and had proof. If I had returned the shorts and than purchased it wouldn’t have been a problem but I wasn’t positive of the return until we had compared the larger sizes. I’m tempted to get all 500.00 worth of items and return. I just don’t want to deal with there bad policy. I asked if I could bring products from home, return and repurchase. They said I would have to wait a day to repurchase because they have to inventory. Ridiculous. You know they have put policies in place to insure they have the best chance of you losing the gift cards (which I do all the time) — pisses me off!
