It’s a cool little«kitschy» place to go once with a group. You definitely can’t do it sober though. It’s loud(of course) and the musicians only play soft rock and top 40 from the 80’s and 90’s…so there’s that. I ordered french fries at 845pm. By 950pm, I still hasn’t received them. I asked three different waitresses if they could check on my order… Doubtful they did. Tip: You MUST make a reservation ahead of time or risk standing the entire time. Go on and you can buy tickets real cheap AND the seating is free with your purchase. Tip: The syringe shots are AMAZING(according to my fiancé. They have gelatin, so of course I couldn’t partake… damn vegetarianism). Drinks are reasonably priced, but don’t expect to see a waitress that often once the show gets started. Overall, a good time… but I won’t be back.

ANDDDDDDDDDDD they did it again! Have been out on New Year’s Eve in about 5 years so when the wife suggested we get a group together and go to one of our favorite places I figured what the hell and we surely didnt regret it! We arrived right on time, the place was packed and the party started right away! They gave our party of 11 the perfect corner table so we could cut up and act the complete fool. Service was awesome and we had the lovely Carson help us again. She is a doll, provides good service and cute to boot. Her partner-in-crime Kim(?) was really great too. They kept the jello shooters coming and smiles on our faces all night long. The performers were amazing per usual and the champagne toast at midnight was absolute perfection! A fantastic way to bring in the New Year!

Awesome place to visit with friends. The artists are incredibly talented, and the vibe of the establishment is very unique. The drinks and service was excellent. Wait staff were very attentive and we never had to wait unreasonably long to get what we ordered. I will say the food is somewhat disspaointing. While they do have a full menu, the prices they charge relative to the quality cannot be justified. My recommendation would be to eat beforehand and plan to save your money on drinks. The beer towers and gello shots were great! If you plan on attending, especially with a bigger group, be sure to make reservations well in advance(at least 1 – 2 weeks out).

Came here in a Saturday night and nothing short of greatness. The gentleman at the front was extremely welcoming to everyone, evidently he’s been in the industry for a while, as his demeanor was very friendly and ensuring everyone being well taken care at the line. Can’t say much about their food menu, as I was not able to try anything, but I will say that the performances are truly outstanding. National harbor area truly lacks entertainment, since a lot of places closed earlier than when someone would think of going out, but this was a great experience. They had MULTIPLE pianists playing side by side as the crowd went wild to each song. Def worth trying!

This place was awesome! The performers alone should earn all 5 stars alone. I thought the drink selection, prices, and service was not up to par with other places I’ve been to around National Harbor. With this being said, I would go back and have a blast any day given the talent of the entertainers!

Typical bar fare, but still well made and tasty. The entertainment is exceptional. The pianists were talented and were great entertainers.

Brought the family for a fun Sunday and unfortunately they were out of just about everything on the menu and rather than dueling pianos there was one piano player.

Very fun night out. Actually so much fun watch out for that bar tab it will sneak up on you. Those beer tubes go down quickly. Excellent performers. Recommend reserving a lower level table for best up close viewing. We had upstairs mezzanine seats along the rail which gave good view and excellent access to upstairs bar but a little far from stage. I would say compared to other piano bars the talent was on par. They did a little more show than requests I thought compared to some. Which can be good in keeping crowd going for hours I guess. Food wise they do have long list of appetizers but recommend eating well before arrival. Of the appetizers we had the cheese sticks were very good, the fries average, the crab dip not the best.

Fun place to go to, the musicians were funny and played a wide variety of music from Taylor swift to Bruce Springsteen. 10 smackaroos for admission, worth it. drinks were a little pricey.

Went here with my boyfriend/friends on my birthday and had a blast. I personally love anything piano related and the pianists were very talented! Although we did not have a table, we enjoyed the service at the bar. I love that they make each song their own and have a great sense of humor. The first song of the night was dedicated to my birthday and I was called to the stage, such a memorable moment for my 21st birthday! Keep up the great performances!

I visited Bobby McKey’s for the first time on Friday night with my boyfriend and 2 of our friends. Here is my honest opinion about my overall experience: Atmosphere: Relatively pleasant, quite dark except for the stage. The waitstaff was pleasant and attentive. Food: I can’t say there seemed to be anything special about it. I had the«Bobby’s fries» and my boyfriend and one of our friends had the Chicken Parm sliders. The fries were pretty run-of-the-mill with some seasoning salt tossed on top. Some fries had no seasoning, whereas others were so entirely salty. My boyfriend and his friend liked his sliders, though again, nothing special, but good. Drinks: VERYWATEREDDOWN. My boyfriend ordered a Jim Beam and Coke and the entire glass was ice. He said the drink also tasted like it had been watered down on top of that. I had an ordinary coke(no alcohol), and that was incredibly watered down to the point that I could not even drink it. The cup was filled with ice and there was an additional layer of water at the top. I ended up switching to water. Our friends’ drinks were also watered down. Entertainment: The musicians were entertaining, though they played on keyboards, not actual pianos as it looks like when you walk in(neither here nor there). They also interacted with the audience well. Requests were(mostly) played, though they did seem to rush through the songs. As the night went on, they took more and more shots, and you could definitely see it in their performance; however, as I said, overall they were entertaining. Overall: I did enjoy the show much more than the other aspects of the bar. I would say come for the entertainment and atmosphere, but not for the drinks. The food was OK, but definitely not the drawing point. I may visit again.

Bobby Hansen! We were physically assaulted after we had a discrepancy with the bill. Litigation will be warranted. They literally threw my disabled veteran wife on her head over a «happy hour» dispute where we never lost bearing or became emotionally involved. Avoid if you value your safety. Update: That is inaccurate. We were charged 2.5 times the amount we were PROMISED by two staff members. And secondly, I was the one that called the police, not you, because your«well trained bouncers» tried to unlawfully detain my wife and I and she ended up bloody and was kept from her medication by your staff after being attacked. The bill was paid, and just unsigned. The money was debit and we are not required to sign. That is a store policy NOT law. We have pictures of your misleading sign which I am sure will be altered now. And I will be happy to post those. But besides the point when someone from your organization promises a service at a price, then you alter that price and strong arm the CUSTOMERS into paying, that is a bad business model. Third, please do not recall the events as if you were present at the time. You are working off of a false narrative by employees with a vested interest in being righteous in this situation. Off course they did not say they were incredibly aggressive and physically started an altercation. Also, unless your cameras have night vision I’m assuming what you saw was 4 blobs of pixels beating up another blob of pixels without sound — hardly definitive. Please avoid this over-priced establishment. There are safer places to go in the Harbor. PS — From a businessman’s perspective it might have been better to simply honor the promised price and not beat up your customers. The review will stay.

Visited Bobby Mckeys for the first time and had a great time. We had reserved a table for a group of 8. The performers were insanely talented and performed songs from Phil Collins, Eminem, Bön Jovi, Smashing Pumpkins and a ton more… every genre. It gets quite loud, which is to be expected. Service was quick, however, this is where the establishment loses a star. The menu is limited and not very broad. My suggestion is to have dinner before you go because the show is long, you most likely will have an alcoholic drink and you’ll want to eat and all they offer is appetizers. The drinks were not very impressive. Priced on average of $ 10 each they were watered down. However, I didn’t go for the food or drinks so I wasn’t disappointed. Great fun with a group of people!

Great great great time. Great talent, great service, great fun. Unfortunately certain nights are just to crowded and impossible to get a seat. I came on a weekday and was entertained to terrific talent, no expense sparred. I’ve read some Unilocal reviews and have to disagree about negative reviews about the piano players. Unilocaling is easy compared to a lifetime of practice and playing the piano to reach the level of entertaining to keep crowds happy and singing as they do at Bobby McKeys. Keep perspective is my message to the Unilocal community.

Love this place. .high energy… fun crowd… talented staff… and good food. Perfect for a date or a group celebration. Bobby McKey’s encourages you to let down your hair and let loose. I can personally speak for the energy on a Friday night, the crowd came to party… the musicians fed off their energy and«the concert continued»…I enjoyed all four of the musicians and their multiple talents.

AWESOME! Place. Talent is incredible, atmosphere is fun, and drinks was tasty! If you enjoy comedy and music, this is the place. If I live close here, I would be here every weekend. My wife and I went on a Friday and came back the next night for round two. Now, this bar is standing room if you are just showing up and not making any reservation, $ 10 cover at the door but well worth it. And yes, they remix songs and make it their own. And that is the entertaining part, Rap songs performed in a different genre. I wrote this on 26 July 15(immediately coming back from a second time as I mentioned). Good job! Bobby. Whoever you are?

This place sucks. Ok it was a Thursday night and perhaps a bit slow. The pianists have talent. That’s all I have to say to help them. Overall the feel I get is that it is extremely gimmicky. Now I know a piano bar, much less a dueling piano bar is already a gimmick. What elevates this to the next level is a combination of things. First, they don’t have pianos. They have keyboards. A person casually listening might not notice at first, but soon they start in with the synthesized strings and even a freaking keyboard drum machine. Does it get cheesier than that? Yes. They have cheap lights that flash around, some strange thing about a phrase of the night that no one seemed to get, names of corporations who have suckered their employees into a ‘retreat’, and will sell you a ‘tower’ of beer with a flashing light on the top. I can only assume they think it will entice other people to look like morons. This brings me to the last gripe. The bar staff is perhaps the worst I’ve ever experienced. One didn’t seem to know how to make the cocktails that they charge far too much for or the beers they have on tap. I walked up with one person ordering at the bar and maybe 20 people in the entire place and my order for a cocktail and beer took close to 10 minutes and I even left the tab open. During that time four different people wandered around behind the bar and someone was loudly gossiping and complaining about someone else. I mentioned this to our group after I finally got back and they shrugged it off. Until they went to get drinks and had similar experiences. Oh, and if you think you can avoid this by ordering from the waitstaff… hahahahahahahahahahaha. That’s all I have to say. Will not return.

Atmosphere is as advertised, but the service was so scarce as to be almost non existent. Multiple obvious attempts to get the wait staff to come to our our table yielded no results. In the end, we simply abandoned the effort and went elsewhere. Would have been nice to be given a chance to review the food, but sadly it wasn’t meant to be.

Came here awhile back to celebrate a friends birthday. We had a wonderful time. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Our server was sweet and attentive. The entertainment was excellent. Such talented pianists. They play a wide range of songs from different genres. You can request a song by writing it on one of their napkins and sending it over with a tip. The food here is ok. Their Crab Dip and Chicken Tenders were pretty good. Come here for the entertainment!
