SMU gives off an Anthropologie-​ish vibe, but with less retro pieces. I was pleased with the customer service and offers to find other items I might like. They had a good variety of denim for all price points and lots of super cute pieces! I was able to get a new fall outfit for under $ 200. I’m pleased!

I love this place! The only problem is sometimes they are only selling summer clothes when it is winter… Which isn’t a bad thing… it just makes it hard for to want to buy a tube top when it’s 40 degrees outside… but anywho… They have amazing clothes and accessories… I picked up a pair of rayban sunglasses… Also the staff is really friendly and they don’t follow you around the store bugging you. They tell u their name and let you know that there here to help when needed. While it may be a little pricey… I think it’s an all around great store…

Eclectic, affordable clothing, great accessories, helpful service. I love South Moon Under for everything they have to offer and their reasonable prices. A good place to buy a gift too. I wish they would open in DC! U Street please!

This is a chain store, and they carry several designers which are pretty good to include a few of my favorites (Stussy, North Face, etc). They have a decent selection of items but they have a tendency to overprice their stuff by… a lot. If you hit them during a sale period, they can bring a four star value… but most of the time they are a two star «in case of a wardrobe emergency» type place for me. Hence, three stars.
Note — you’ll have no way of know if they have much on sale without actually going into the store. Don’t worry, the staff won’t bug you and are helpful if you have questions.

I wish the prices were cheaper? Cause the clothes are just my style. Kinda bohemian chic? Loved all the little trinkets and gadgets for sale between the clothes too. Didn’t realize this was a chain… will have to check out the other store in Annapolis Mall that is a lot closer to me.

One of those little known stores that carry pretty clothes. However, after looking at the price tags, you’ll soon think… well, they ain’t THAT pretty.
My roommate and I found the clearance area. He helped found a t-​shirt for me. So now I have a pretty t-​shirt!

South Moon Under was the only thing that didn’t totally suck about National Harbor. That being said, it is a chain and all locations are more or less the same. Good selection of trendy clothes and accessories and pretty decent sake rack. I managed to score a super cute silk tunic for $ 24!

I’m a fan of this chain – I like a lot of the lines even though the whole shop is aimed at the junior set.
I picked up a cute feather-​themed skirt (rayon, made in China, $ 50) on sale. They had some cute beaded tops but they were falling apart on the floor – not a good look. The dresses are pretty reasonably priced.
The customer service was overwhelming, I have to say. True the weather was kind of bad but I felt like every time I turned around I had a girl in my face asking if I needed help. They were definitely over-​staffed.

Resort wear = expensive. But that is a given.
I got a great pair of shoes on sale — -and the service was actually nice and helpful – not snobby like at other boutiques.

The new South Moon Under made me happy and sad at the same time. Happy because everything is so cute and sad because I’m so poor.
Oh well, I still managed to get a cute new dress! And lust after other items…
