Great China doesn’t even TRY to do good business, nor do they even pretend to care about their customers. They’ve always treated me like dirt, but today was the last straw. Allow me to elaborate…
I called the number on the takeout menu. The woman on the other end answered, «Great China,» so I know it wasn’t a wrong number. I placed my order and she told me it would be about 10 minutes.
I drove up to pick up my food only to be told that they had never gotten my order. No explanation at all, they just acted like I was crazy. I walked out and will NEVER return.
If you’re in the area, I strongly suggest you dine elsewhere (their food is terrible anyway).

Always good. Friendly staff. The best by far in the area. I have been ordering a variety of dishes over the past several years. Never a bad meal.

Chicken was rancid, smelled horrible. Portions are extremely small, children’s sized for a grown adult. Food made us sick, couldn’t even finish the 3 pieces of chicken due to the taste, seems as if it had been left out or maybe someone didn’t want their order earlier in the day and they gave us that. Only thing good was the white rice.

Great China has great food! Best in Naugy for us.

This is the second Chinese delivery we ordered from in the valley. First order we made fried wonton were super soggy with grease, I ordered for one person and delivering took an hour from order on a Monday night. We decided to give it a second shot because all restaurants can have a bad night, but that’s not the case. Same issue, hour delivery, greasy fried wonton, super greasy fries (for our son), and portions are small for price. We probably will have to try another place. I will say the gentleman delivering is a super nice guy.

Our go-​to Chinese place in the area. Very consistent, good food, willing to customize.
Fast and friendly delivery. We’ve tried most of the menu and never been disappointed. Favorites include Hunan Chicken, Crab Rangoon, Szchwan (sp?) wontons, hot and sour soup which they make for us with no egg and no tofu.

Even tho chinese food is not really my thing, i have gone to few places in the waterbury naugatuck area and this one was by far the one that i liked the most, the pork friend rice actually has pork in it. i mean like big chunks of it and the food is steaming with flavor. Girl at the counter spoke really bad english tho, took me a while to get my message across

This place was great! Just moved to the area and tried a few and this is my fav! Also if you have allergies they are very caring to your needs and remembered the following time I called! Sometimes the food takes awhile (on delivery) but to me it worth it!

This is some of the worst Chinese food I have ever tasted! How do you screw up orange chicken? It is terrible! It is fried together in one large lump and the fried rice is tasteless. Wow thanks for saving me from eating the calories! If only I had saved the money and avoided this place! Nasty!

If you’re expecting to get the ingredients that are in the name of your order, don’t come here.
I ordered CASHEW Chicken and then opened it to find ZERO cashews in it. That’s like ordering chicken or beef and broccoli and not getting any broccoli… (But worse because cashews are better) Also with a lack of carrots, celery, or any other typical cashew chicken vegetables, they basically gave me chicken and rice in a very dry sauce. I DO NOT recommend this place.
I just wish I could give them as many stars as they gave me cashews.

This place is awesome. The first time I ordered from here I couldn’t believe how good the beef and broccoli was. Enjoyed it immensely with good quality meat and loads of broccoli. The sauce was done very well not overly salty.
Second time I had General Tso’s and Hot and Sour Soup. Wife had spare ribs with fried rice. Delicious. With our order we received a free quart of Wonton Soup. We could not get enough of the food.
Third time I ordered basically the same content, but also added chicken wings. The wings were very well seasoned and fried. The best I have had so far in the area. It is even comparable to my favorite spot in Bridgeport. I honestly never thought I would find a place in Naugatuck that would provide good fast food Chinese food low and behold here it is.
Giving Great China three chances to fail, each time I ordered I was thoroughly impressed. This is the only Chinese restaurant in town I will order from now.

Just ordered from this place for the first time. I didn’t even know it existed until today… but by far it is the best Chinese food in Naugatuck. Plus you can place your order online at the web site which is always a plus! It’s pretty cheap in price too!

Food is good, and understandably so…
One of the few Chinese food takeouts that commit to using fresh ingredients. I often see the employees prepping fresh vegetables and meats in the back.
