Quiznos

Oh Quiznos, once you were a great thing. Now you’re a big fat meh.
Every once in a while I get a craving for the Turkey, Bacon, Guacamole. Every time I get one my reaction is the same. «Man, Quiznos is not what it used to be.»
I’ve been in a handful of them over the past few years (as they get rarer and rarer) and apparently the pickle bar is no longer a thing, every location’s pickle stand is there but empty.
That said, the one in Naugatuck is fairly good, I hope it hangs around a while, because sometimes I get the craving for a TBG, and unless Nardelli’s starts making those… Quiznos has a home in my heart.
The sandwiches are more creative than subway and generally a bit more flavorful (as well as more expensive). The only thing Subway has over them is they bake their bread on site. Quiznos does not.

Very friendly owners and staff. Good food and prices. Could be slightly cleaner but the food is fresh.

Neat and clean. Fresh bread and not shy in meat. Good experience overall. I would go back here again. The prices are more than subway but worth it.
