1. My aunt ordered Cajun but she got a pizza instead. 2. My mom’s cod spaghetti was SOAKED in lemon juice. It’s way too sour. 3. And her spaghetti had large chunk of uncooked spaghetti stuck together. 4. My dad’s steak was ordered in medium but it was burned badly on the outside and there is no flavor in the meat. It also smelled not very fresh. 5. My meatball spaghetti was dry and flavorless. As much as I love their rolls and pizza, don’t order things other than pizza. Service was not the best as well. I asked for more water and ten minutes later I think she completely forgot about us and we had to ask someone else.

I love Bertucci’s food. As far as chain restaurants go, my family and I love Bertucci’s. The service at this one is absolutely horrendous though. Waiters and waitresses seem completely disinterested and the one time I tried takeout from them… they got my order wrong and then were unpleasant when I brought it to their attention. If you want Bertucci’s, it’s totally worth the longer drive to find another one.

I had lunch here this afternoon with four other moms and our five infants(all three months and younger) after a local mom’s group. They were very accommodating! We were seated in the back at a long table and they had enough booster seats to hold all of our infant car seats. Since it was a Tuesday at lunchtime, it wasn’t too crowded or loud. It can be stressful to go to restaurants as a new mom and it is nice to know this is not only a baby-friendly option, but also can accommodate a whole table of babies!

Tonight, I revisited the Bertucci’s of Needham for a late dinner. There was a wait, yet it seemed to be much quicker than expected(they said 15 – 20, when the wait must have been less than 10!). Michael, the waiter, was very helpful, efficient, and friendly, as well as Francisco, the manager, who was walking around to make sure everything was up to the«Bertucci» standard. He was also extremely friendly, kind, and knowledgable. The entire experience didn’t take hours, the food all-around was great(and quick), and as always the rolls were amazing. The Needham location consistently is a worry-free restaurant, I am always able to RELY on, unlike some other restaurants, plus great parking, and a warm, inviting interior(unlike the cold Bertucci’s in Wellesley!). Located on Highland Avenue, in a small plaza with a JuiceBar(the old Wild Willy’s), SuperCuts, a sporting goods store, and some other shops. Exit 19B off Route 128, and easily accessible from anywhere in Needham, Newton, Dover and Westwood. I will be returning. 5 stars.

This Bertucci’s is really inconsistent. Sometimes my pizza is well done(when I didn’t request that) sometimes it looks like it hasn’t been cooked long enough. There have a been a couple times that I was happy with the food, but mostly I feel like I never know what I’m going to get. The most recent time I ordered take out, I got home to find the pizza had barely any sauce. They were very nice and replaced it, which I appreciated. Overall though, many better pizza places and other restaurants in the area. I think I’ll start making the drive to the Framingham location from now on when I get the craving for Bertucci’s pizza.

By far the worst Bertuccis that I have ever been to. I order catering a lot for my business and often visit locations in different areas of my travels. This location is horrible and that is a compliment. I have been here twice. Both times had the exact same experience. Poor service, slow pace, and subpar attitudes. I honestly would never go back. The two times I was here it was not busy and had a worse experience than it’ll it was slammed. Corporate should check this location. The restaurant was empty– at least twelve open tables by count– it took five minutes for the host to seat us. We sat, waited at least 7 – 10 minutes before the waitress came over. She delivered rolls, left and did not return for about 5 – 7 minutes for the drink order. The drinks(2 sodas, one coffee, 4 kids shakes) took about 12 minutes– all drinks were delivered except one shake the waitress said would be right up. Another 10 minutes later it was delivered. She took our order and never returned until she delivered the food. Food was good and on par with other Bertuccis restaurants. Coffee was served cold and had to be sent back twice. No apologies or attempts to help us make feel better. It’s almost as if complaints about the speed and quality of service are a norm. Nobody seemed surprised. I’m horrified and would never go back.

Went to Sunday night dinner with three others. No one’s meal came out correctly. One of us got unlimited soup and salad and no one came to ask if she wanted more until waitress was clearing dishes. Pizza barely had any cheese, veal parm was cold. Doubt I will not go back.

Ordered salads for some coworkers and myself for takeout, I have had their spinach salad at the restaurant but for takeout it was pitiful. It had hardly any chicken and the description said there were apples but I found none in my salad. What was there wasn’t bad but it did not live up to my expectations or my coworkers. We were all a bit disappointed in our salads — and it was decided we wouldn’t be ordering from them in the near future which is disappointing as i normally like their food!

Let’s face it. Bertucci’s sucks. It has always been better than Olive Garden, but that’s a low bar. I will admit — their rolls are great. But their oil is bland and boring. My lasagna was so-so, but the kids loved their kids meals. And how can you beat $ 5.99 per kid for entrée, drink and ice cream Hoodie? But the greatest thing was the fact that it was FULL of kids, so no one was upset about our 3 kids(my friends’ kids) screaming and squirming the entire time. The waitress was so sweet, attentive and chatty with the kids. She made the experience a good one. Stopped in here for a drink and appetizer after my sister finished work. We sat in the bar area and ordered the roasted vegetables, a couple beers and wine. Their complementary bread and olive oil is delicious. The olive oil has amazing flavor with roasted garlic. The roasted vegetables were good, although a bit too oily. You can order a few different wines by the glass and they offer the standard pour and«a little more» pour for an extra ounce or so. I’m not sure if it’s really worth the value though. Service was good, our server checked on us a few times and the manager came around and gave us coupons for $ 5 off our next visit.

Let me start this review by saying I LOVEBERTUCCI’S! I mean, I’m seriously in love with it. However, this location really needs some work. I went on a Sunday for lunch with a friend. The service was painfully slow. The computer system went down which meant our order was never placed. The waitress came over and told us that our order was never put into the computer but that she just told the kitchen and they were making it now, this was after we had already been there for a half hour. The pizza was not anywhere close to as good as it usual is, my guess is they tried to rush it because it wasn’t cooked as well as if should have been. When it was time to pay the bill, the waitress told us that the computer system was still down so she couldn’t get us our check right now and she would keep us posted on the computer system and that we could have our check when they got it back up and running… seriously?! If the computer system is down, take out a pencil(that’s the thing people used to use before computers to WRITETHINGS) and hand write our bill. Or, better yet, based on the fact that we waited forever for our food, and are now waiting forever for our bill, just tell us it’s on the house! We waited 20 minutes, then told the waitress we really needed to go. She said she would see what she could do. 10 minutes later we walked up to the registers and just said we needed to pay so we could leave. They said the computers were down and they were working on it?!! I told them that at this point, the two pizzas we ordered for 15 dollars should probably be free and they ignored my statement. Five minutes later, someone looked up at us and said, you’re all set, don’t worry about the bill I think because they couldn’t figure out how to charge us. We tipped the waitress and got out of there. The whole situation was laughable and someone should have known how to handle it. I really can’t think of any situation that would result in me going back to this Bertucci’s.

I honestly can’t understand why this location rates so mediocre, maybe I caught them on a good day, but if I was in the areas again I would not hesitate to go here for lunch again. The hostess was very welcoming and we were seated promptly, our waitress asked if we were familiar with the menu(we were) and described the specials to us, the salad was nice and the rolls nice and warm. I had the tomato and basil soup and it was very flavorful, my friend had the special sandwich with ham and salami and it was very good, although the ‘minestrone’ soup she was served was decent tasting, but not like any minestrone soup we’ve had. Once we were done, the hostess again asked if we had a great time, which we had. Service had been prompt and fast. Overall, a good experience.
