Needham Junction Ice Cream

I LOVE this ice cream shop! The service is incredibly friendly, and I was even there to witness one of the girls rescue an old man that fell. Besides the service, the ice cream is amazing. Mint chocolate chip and salted caramel chocolate pretzel flavors are a little taste of heaven! Favorite thing to do while I wait for the T!

Really nice old man runs the shop. I tend to always judge an ice cream joint by two things, the quality of the mint chocolate chip ice cream and their waffle cones. Well this place has a ⁵⁄₅ for the mint chocolate chip ice cream and a ³⁄₅ for the waffle cones, they only have those sugar waffle cones, not the real nice and hearty ones you get other places. Didn’t get a chance to go in because it was later but they’re open decently late, really great prices,(seven bucks for two medium ice creams). They also had a pretty good variety of different treats. including ice cream pizza? YUM.
Only downfall was the lack of flavors for the hard ice cream, but i tried some of the soft serve and it was phenomenal.
All in all i will be back here, just make sure to bring cash and get there early because the place is always mobbed by little tweens and families in the summertime.

The good. Ice cream is pretty standard. I think it’s a typical soft serve mix. Nothing special but a good location.
The bad. Interior coffee shop seating is dirty and smells. Hasn’t been cleaned in years.
