It’s a great place for kids to have music lessons! My daughter we loves taking guitar lessons there!

I have been going to Needham Music for 13 years and would first like to say, thank you for all your help throughout the years. The process of renting instruments for my sons was new to me an Needham Music made the process so easy. The store even had the lesson book. The same day I received the instrument, book and all the accessories needed to start. I did notice that they also had lessons available at the store which all my boys are students now. They love the teachers and the recital they have at the end of the year. It gives them a chance to «show off their mad skills» they say! In the time I have been going to Needham Music, I have never had an unpleasant experience, The owner is present at the store and has helped me many times with special orders and fixing our instruments throughout the years. I remember our first repair, I thought for sure the instrument was ruined and we would need to purchase it. The owner, Rich, reassured me that the instrument was repairable and he has seen worst! I was grateful to hear my expense was only $ 25.00. I truly thought the instrument was a goner and I was expecting to be purchasing the instrument out right for $ 500.00 plus. That is were I knew we were at the right place. The honesty of the owner with the first repair. Service, respect and honesty, what else do you need. I would definitely recommend this store.

If they dont have it, they will order it and fast for you. Always better than going into a big box music store and the staff is helpful and friendly. Always staff available to help. Needham Music makes me excited to support my local music store.

What a disappointment. I went to have my daughter’s clarinet corks replaced and when I returned 2 days later, not only were the corks replaced, but pads were replaced as well — the pads, which I didn’t order, cost double what the corks cost — so a whopping $ 113 later, I was more than frustrated. The gentleman, Paul, who I placed the order with, and who was the person I picked it up from, said that I had ordered the pads as well, which I didn’t. I wouldn’t even know to ask about the pads. When I told him that I didn’t order the pads, his response was«well, it will play now», to which I responded with«it played before». There were no apologies, no trying to come to a resolution, nothing. I just had to pay the money. This experience left me feeling ripped off and left me feeling as though their business practice is questionable, if not unethical. A total disappointment.
