I used to come various times to order the Red Fort. I showed up one Friday with a friend and heard the store owner yelling at one of the waiters becomes she didn’t have her work shirt. He then threatened to charge her for her missing attire and told her to go home. It was surely inappropriate to speak out of terms in front of paying patrons. I also do not like how they would market the mustard chicken to everyone in line. I tried it once and was very displeased.

We ordered two wraps tonight, random create-your-own sandwiches, with a mango lassi and brownies. All of it was DELICIOUS. Super quick delivery, still hot when it got here. Worth a try!

I’ve been here many times. The food here is fun and unique and tastes great. It’s an awesome fusion and culture. However, the inside of the restaurant has gotten worse and worse. The menus now have handwritten marker over text and orange duct tape. The single trash container is always full and the door is dirty. The silverware is limited and doesn’t match; half is plastic. All of TVs only play Bollywood content. It needs a serious update. I’ll not be back until they do something about it.

Came here for the first time today — I had the special, the butter chicken, and it was very tasty! The menu, however, is very confusing.

I had some takeout and it was delicious! I got the Chix noodle soup and Chaat salad with chickpeas, potato and yogurt dressing. Both were very delicious and reasonably priced!

Stumbled upon this place today for lunch and was pleasantly surprised! The pronti wraps were phenomenal! We tried the paneer wraps(the Chandigarh) one with mint chutney and the other with hot and tamarind sauce… So delicious! They came with a fudgey soft brownie which was yummy too! We also got mango lassi and gulab jamun, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. Not to mention, everything was reasonably priced! We will DEFinitely be going back often!

I’m a very regular visitor here as this restaurant is close to my office and here is my feedback The Good: 1.The flavorful rice, choice of cheese, veggies and indian chutneys. 2. Faster service. 3. Well cooked and consistency. 4. And the best Gulab Jamuns. The Bad: 1. The chicken pieces in red fort and delhi dynamite are too large, I feel they should be finely chopped and well sautéed. 2. The tilapia fish in the Goa Catch dish is not fresh. 3. The veggies and desserts stock are not properly maintained. 4. The mango milk shake/Lassi taste is not maintained consistently.

We were returning from a day of summer activity and I suggested taking my friends family and their 3 year old daughter to Pronti bistro. It was 7:20PM on in the evening and their closing time is 8:00PM. Since I have been to this location few times, I thought it would be an ideal option for all of us. Having seen the OPEN sign light from outside, we walked in and looked at the Menu. I started explaining my friends on the items in the menu having been there few times. When we were discussing the menu, the guy at the counter looked at us and went into talk to the Chef and came out saying, Sorry we don’t have any food left except few items in the menu like rice, chicken and beef. Also he told us there are no vegetarian food items, if we are specific about vegetarian food then there are some soups and salads. We questioned him as to why the Sign says they are open but no food. He apologized but went on explaining that they try to keep fresh foods and also the place is closed on Sunday. So they don’t want to keep any food but just serve fresh food. I still didn’t understand — Why this place has to remain open when they don’t have food to serve? Do they want people to walk in hungry and return empty stomach? If they are preparing fresh food, why not they prepare it then and give it to us instead of saying we ran out of food and only have few items in the menu. I apologized with my friends family for suggesting such a terrible place. It was such a terrible experience and after this, we walked to Panera bread across the street and had nice soups and sandwiches.

Please avoid! The wrap seemed like a frozen roti and half way through my sandwich it turned soggy. The chutneys are watery and seem diluted. The mango lassi was probably in the freezer for too long and the silverware was not clean!

Came here for lunch and got a pronti wrap. The pronti(soft Indian tortilla type bread) is flaky and soft and buttery. I had tandoori chicken with onions and cucumber. The chicken was so delicious and I put a little of their hot red sauce and the creamy mint chutney and it was so delicious! There’s not much to eat in this area so it was nice to see something yummy and unique.

This is really good delivery food. People taking and delivering the order sounded nice. Parathas were delicious and crispy. I had the chicken tikka pronti. I think I should just ask for more chutney next time because it wasn’t spicy enough. We had the aloo on the side and that was ok. I just wonder, why are the brownies sooooo good at an indian place? Also, we had asked for gulab jamun w/our meals but they gave us the brownies but that’s ok since they were omggg drool. The delivery guy said they also have a phone app that’ll give you a $ 3 discount on your first order. I definitely will order from them again.

First of all, I ordered a pronti as it was called on the menu, not knowing what I was about to receive, never really eating food with a heritage from India or Pakistan. It was AMAZING! So doing some research, I find out that«pronti” is the Punjabi name for paratha, the delectably tender round bread that’s almost as flaky and buttery as a croissant — but far more useful as a sandwich platform. I also didn’t know that Punjabi is an Indo-Aryan language spoken by 102 million native speakers worldwide, making it the 10th most widely spoken language in the world. Who knew? My Pronti had lamb, feta cheese, mint yogurt, cucumbers, lettuce and tomatoes. It was just one of the best sandwiches a person could make, simple and fantastic! The only knock on the place is the décor, it isn’t to my taste, adequate but not appealing nor inviting. The«Indian MTV» videos playing on TVs were comical and slightly annoying at the same time, but perhaps targeted at someone other than a 40 something American male, so not a big deal, but just not for me. The other slight knock was the counter employee that took our order who didn’t really know anything about the menu. My rating of 5 is for the food. Nice little brownie included with the order, very tasty as well. The side salad was bland, I didn’t finish it. Just stick to the sandwiches. Go try it!

Restaurant is nicely decorated, but there is loud, annoying music playing from the TVs installed on the ceiling. The service is slow, it took around 30 minutes for the food to arrive. It might just be me, but some of the food is way too spicy, so if you’re not a fan of spicy food, I don’t recommend this place. The food, despite the spice, is good, but the mango lassi tastes terrible. Overall, I don’t know if I would get food here again. EDIT: My dish wasn’t supposed to be spicy, they just put the wrong sauce on it. –_–

Pronti is so delicious and conveniently located close to work. Fairly priced and I like that you can double up your order for not much more than the cost of one pronti. Their brownies are out of this world. The signature prontis come with a bite size brownie and I have definitely previously ordered a full sized brownie to go with it… it’s that good.

After doing reviews of restaurants in Needham, I bookmarked Pronti. After my coworker’s husband raved and raved about Pronti, I knew we had to try it! After back-and-forth about what to order this weekend, my husband said«how about Indian?» and I said«yes! Can we try Pronti???» My coworker’s hubby recommended the Patriot rice bowl with white yogurt, so that’s what I got. My hubby got the Red Fort wrap with sweet tamarind sauce. I was definitely glad I got the rice bowl(the wrap was a bit too sweet for me). I loved mine — the flavors blended so nicely together and it was quite filling! His wrap came with a teeny little salad and 2 small brownies; mine came with nothing. We both agreed that it was good(probably better when you eat in, rather than take-out/deliver) and we would order from them again, but that it does not satisfy the«Indian» craving. As other reviewers have mentioned, it’s not the Indian I’m used to, but it is good!

Here’s the thing about Pronti Bistro — the wraps are really. It would be nice if folks who had trouble choosing could just choose a wrap or bowl with all of the sauces and veggies already pre-ordained. But that is neither here nor there. The ambience is not great. I’m not from Needham, but it looks like Pronti bought out a café and kept all of the furniture and supplies. That would be OK on its own, but you add that to the«modified» ordering sign that now has prices written on duct tape. It just looks so slapdash. If I was driving by and decided to try Pronti rather than Panera, I would probably walk out when I saw the menu. The outside area also has some sort of tarp over it. Between that and the shattered window, the place looks kind of terrible from the outside. That said, take a chance on the food. It is tasty. Just don’t expect much from the sides — the salad is mostly iceberg lettuce and the small Indian dessert was a brownie. Tasty, but not Indian.

This place is good to me. I confess hers for lunch and get the rice bowls. I am a hungry man and the bowls fill my up. The food is always consistent. I always enjoy watching Indian mtv while I wait. For more that is what makes this place special to me. It’s something different. My only annoying thing is the menu. They never change the board prices. They just stuck sine radius in there and wrote in a number. That is not cool and it looks lazy and cheap on the owners behalf. There is a sign maker right next door. Get it done
