Had 4 pairs of pants hemmed and you can’t even notice!!! Awesome job have now found my tailor!!!

Sam is an excellent tailor! He is first of all extremely nice and professional. He altered a bridesmaid dress, some other dresses and sewed a few seams shut on random clothes of mine. His attention to detail and turnarond time is amazing.
He made sure I came back with the shoes I wanted to wear with a long dress so he knew exactly where to hem it. I’ll be going here from now on!
FYI — he is cash only.

I just picked up a couple Brooks Brothers suits during their Friends & Family sale. I’ve put on some weight (I review restaurants what do you expect) so I went with their relaxed fit suit. Everything fit, except the jackets needed to be taken in a little in the midsection (2 side seams) and the pants needed to be hemmed.
This wasn’t a particularly difficult job, but the 5-​stars comes from the value. Sam charged me only $ 100 for both suits (jackets and pants). You never really know with tailors since they usually don’t have prices posted, but to me this was a great deal. To give you some perspective, I had 2 suits altered at Newbury Tailoring and they charged me $ 150 EACH.
I don’t plan on staying morbidly obese forever, so I’m hoping to return to Sam to have my pants and jackets taken in more once I lose some weight. In the meantime, I think I’ll go get some ice cream.
Much like the dancers at The Golden Banana, Sam is cash only.

Sew good is an extraordinarily fine tailor shop. I was waiting to write a review until I had brought enough items in to do it thoroughly but honestly I was certain that Sam was a preternaturally talented tailor from the first jacket alteration.
There is nothing this man cannot do well, I have brought a wool longcoat, tuxedo and jeans to him and they have all turned out to be absolutely, 100% perfect and I am hard to please.
Occasionally people give 5 stars out to establishments which really do not merit that kind of rating but Sew Good really does live up to its name and I feel completely confident giving Sam a ringing endorsement and will use him as my exclusive tailor from this point forward.

After going to multiple places I was told my bridesmaid dress could not be taken out. I was desperate as the wedding was in 2 weeks! Went to Sam based on Unilocal reviews and was blown away! He immediately said yes of course it can be taken out! I also had 8 inches taken off to be shortened. All in less than a week. $ 65 for perfection and sound of mind!

By far, the best tailoring I’ve ever had. I live in Boston and followed Sam from Dedham to Needham. I would travelled much further if necessary. He pays attention to the details and is always on time with his delivery. I have an extensive winter and summer wardrobe that Sam tailored to perfection. Definitely a 5 star rating.

I have been going (and following) Sam (Sew Good) for 10 years. He is an amazing tailor. He can fix and sew anything from a hem, shortening, pulling in a waist, patching wholes in jeans — Sam has saved my favorite pair of jeans many times, and much more. Sam’s prices are affordable. He is able to tailor anything in a timely manner and if you need it at a certain time — no questions asked, Sam does it! Even if department stores offer their tailor services for free, I still go to Sam. I trust him and his work is pure MAGIC!
