OMG! Best pulled pork! My Wife had the fish and chips and said it was juicy and not dry. Tater tots were fabulous! Definitely a bar dive. Prices are great! Will be back!

Great burgers. Great specials. Great comfort food on Sundays. Really great locally-owned place. The owner is almost always there, guaranteeing a 5-star experience. And they’re open LATE! Thank God. Or Allah, Or Alien7 who created us and Manzanita Lighthouse. When the SanDune closes early — as they often do — you can still get quality eats and Manzanita Lighthouse. Late. Really late. And great food, too. Since I don’t drink(after that seagull and squirrel incident, but no laws were really broken) I still feel comfortable there not drinking liquor or beer. They don’t make me feel like a freak. You can smoke on the patio outside and enjoy life with your friends. No assholes here. Even the off-duty cops hang out here. Highly recommend if you like to drink alcohol and dance. Or do karaōke. Awesome place now that the previous owner is gone. Nice, happy energy. Not a bunch of negative b.s.(not baked squirrel)

We ate here on Sunday so their special was ‘Soul Food’ and to be honest that is not our favorite category but we gave it a whirl. And boy were we pretty impressed. The fried chicken was really outstanding and the corn bread was melt in your mouth good. Even the rice and beans and collard greens(the least of our likes) was not bad. We also ordered the steamers and they were done just right with a nice old fashioned butter and garlic dipping sauce. I would definitely recommend a night here when you are in Manzanita. I really am interested to check out their Thai nights Thurs-Sat as the reviews for that have been good too.

I can not make a one star because we left in disgust. Waited 10 mins for somebody to seat us. The entry is right by the bar(a not to busy bar) and yet they elected to ignore 5 people in a place that was perhaps 20% occupied. Sorry. Waiting for anybody to even acknowledge your existence for 10 mins is just too long.

MLP&G is Manzanita’s Living Room! Jay, the Chefs, Bar Gods and Goddesses are amazing — definite«family»! Great variety of grub and drink. As of this writing, Taco Night has moved to Monday(3−6pm), to accommodate Thai Nights Tuesday through Saturday(4−9pm). The Thai food is some of the best we’ve ever had! Destination quality! Pub grub menu has a great variety of appetizers, burgers, wraps, pizza, salads, and more. Big ol’ burgers are hand pressed to order, pizza crust is made in-house, as is the pulled pork. They just started offering desserts too! Again, all made in-house. I’ve had the carrot cake, marble cheesecake and Irish Car Bomb cupcakes. All were absolutely amazing! Looking for sports? They have Dish and Charter, to include the big league packages. During football season, MLP&G opens for breakfast(10am) to ensure nobody misses first kick off. Free pool every Sunday(all day). Most Friday or Saturday nights, you can find a variety of music or comedy. Bands range from country, pop, rock, to reggae, and they’ve even had two great cover bands: Prince and Kiss(not together, of course). Like them on Facebook for scheduled events.

Authentic Thai food that rivals anything in Portland on the Oregon coast?!? Yea ! Had two dishes recommended by Jay, the owner and both were spot on. If you are near Cannon Beach, Seaside or Manzanita and want real food and a fun bar, the Lighthouse is the place to be!

Previous to the change I had only been there one time. The food was OK, but the atmosphere and staff were sub par. After the one time, I decided I probably wouldn’t be back. I drove past the Lighthouse on several occasions and the lot was always EMPTY. Since the change, I noticed the parking lot was more and more full so I thought I’d give it a shot. The food is great, the atmosphere and staff is awesome, the remodel is coming along quite nicely and I have been back several times since. Good beer selection, good liquor selection. Any sporting event you want on TV. Pool, ping-pong, arcade games, Xbox and Wii… If you are anywhere between Seaside and Tillamook, this is the place to be for a casual and reasonably priced hangout. They are open late too which is a rarity for anything on the Oregon Coast. Whether I am looking to catch a game, hang out with friends or just spend some time with my wife, this is a place I will go to when I am in the area. Look for stand up comedy, live music, theme parties and patio seating. New name, new ownership, new staff, new menu, ongoing remodel. New outlook on life for ML P&G.

Had to try the place. I had heard the bar had recently been purchased and the new owners were doing an amazing job so I went to see. They’ve used their time wisely, without a doubt. It seems they are clearly cultivating a clientele both locally and far beyond the city limits, investing their profits carefully, and stockpiling an OCD-esque retinue of fermented delights to serve not before their time, Lighthouse Pub is now… a wonderfully weird little enclave of beeriness along this quiet strip of Hwy 101. Inside, what used to feel like a kooky house party now feels like a stylishly kooky house party! YAY! The walls now suggests a tony library at a gentleman’s club, so be a gentleman, for heaven’s sake. But what matters most here is the beer. And this beer selection is truly a matter of great import. Hundreds of bottles line the cooler racks, with a fair emphasis on rare and small batch big American beers and a freighter full of bigger(i.e., more alcoholic) European stuff, both classics and newer releases. Now they have Growlers! There are also tap handles, now bundled together in a phalanx of malty infantry on the back wall, which boasts a luminous interweave beauty! Such design flair! The staff here has been wise and powerful since day one. This shows no signs of abating. I often hate coming in here when it’s busy simply because it means less chance to shoot the breeze with them. Or throw a Frisbee or Darts. What no one bar can change, though, is the local color on display outside, along Hwy 101. More than once as I have sipped a tasty beverage here, people have walked back and forth and back and forth along hwy 101. I figured they must have been running errands, or moving, or something, but they were never carrying anything, so it’s hard to be certain. Car and people watching from the large deck out front is very entertaining. Every industry needs places that push to offer the best of everything. Very few places are Lighthouse Pun & Grubs equal in that regard, especially in this neck of Oregon. The Food was fresh and tasty. Its a really nice change and addition to coastal dining. ITS A FUNPLACE! Nice work new guys!

Great Food and Drink! Have a bunch of beer on Tap, with a good selection of local Micro Brews. They have 7 big screen TV’s throughout the place and play every sports game that you can imagine. Not to mention Taco Tuesdays, YUM!!! From time to time they have live music as well. Def worth the stop!
