Dedrick’s seemed as if it was extending a very helpful hand when one of its employees telephoned us on a Monday morning and let us know that one of our favorite cheeses was now in stock. «Wonderful,» we replied, «we’ll come on up later this week and get come.» Unfortunately, the employee neglected to let us know as well that the store would be CLOSED on Wednesday and Thursday of the week in question. As a result, we drove 40+ miles, from our home in Granite Bay to Nevada City, for absolutely nothing. And another 40+ miles to go home empty-​handed. Not cool!

Anytime I need to put out a cheese plate I head straight to dedrick’s! Last night I made a tray with goat gouda, triple cream cow’s milk cheese & two diiferent types of salami. Everybody loved it, there was nothing left! I also like the little tarts or chocolate covered espresso beans if I’m in need of a pick-​me-​up.
