Bob Evans Restaurants

Reasonably quick service, surprisingly good french toast, eggs, and ham, and well-​run inside. Even the coffee wasn’t too bad.
Packed on a Saturday morning but the wait wasn’t too horrible.
And before you get too excited– it was very ordinary thick slices of ham from a chain restaurant. But it was well-​run and well-​executed, and have to give them credit for that.

I read the past negative reviews. I am hoping the management saw the reviews and believe the management made changes. Jordan (my server) was very pleasant. The restaurant was clean, my order was correct,
There was a good amount of people in the restaurant.
What more can one ask for?

Once again, come to eat at the new Albany bob Evans. As disappointing as usual. It’s not busy at all but every table around us is dirty and has been since we got here. Terrible service, sat without drinks, and watched food sit in window ready but our server was nowhere to be seen. Not a good experience but sadly it no longer surprises me for this location.

Every time I say «I’m going to give that bob evans in new albany another try» I’m always so disappointed I changed my mind from my last previous horrible experience. They can NEVER get to go orders done from ordering online, on time, EVER. You literally would be better off just going there, placing your order and waiting. Today I got the wildfire chicken salad, waiting 20 minutes for it AFTER arriving at my scheduled «pick up» time. The chicken was clearly last nights chicken dipped in some BBQ sauce and just disgusting. You would think being in the same city as corporate they could get their acts together but nope, truly the worst Bob Evans I’ve ever been to. Mark my words, I will NEVER be back.

Wow, I didn’t think anyone could screw up breakfast until I experienced Elija at Bob Evans New Albany.
I ordered farm market omelet, no onion add sausage. He didn’t write it down, I didn’t get the sausage. My wife ordered the same with a side of bacon. Bacon was a no show. He then proceeded to screw up the check which took 10 minutes to fix. Next time we will go back to Scramblers, a little farther but ALOT better.
$ 24 dollars for that breakfast? That won’t work

Definitely one of the nicer Bob’s I’ve been to (being in NA doesn’t hurt!) Food is consistent, as is the service. Always reliable for a quick, hot meal.

Server mikella was great at suggested items to go with my meal. Been here a week on business and love the food.

Yummy! I usually give bob evans a tough time about there breakfast. But their steaks are good! Better than some local steak houses around here.

Horrible first experience that will be my last. Waited for 30 minutes for chicken and the one piece was delivered to my table burned. Manager took my silverware, and did not replace it. Server did not come back so had to ask another server for tea refill. Comped my meal but not happy with the food or service.

I’ve always had great food and great service here; whether it’s carry out or dine in. The servers and managers are all very friendly and the place is always clean.

I have been coming to this Bob Evans since it opened. It ways great at first! But lately the service is lacking. I was here a few months ago for lunch and it took the server atleast 10 mins to come to our table, 25 mins to get our order, just horrible.
I’m back today for breakfast and here we go again! Took the server 10 mins to come to our table! Yet the 2 groups of people who were seated after us already had their drinks! Just opened my silver wear and my fork is dirty! I won’t be coming back here anytime soon.

Have ordered carry out twice here now, both times was a poor experience. Food not ready, not complete, etc. This morning we ordered carry out — 2 bowls of oatmeal and a cup. Was to be ready at 7:35am. Arrived right on time to pick up — food wasn’t ready and they were out of oatmeal. Nobody called us? We ordered online and paid online. They scraped the bottom of the container and gave us all partially filled cups. The manager had said he would put banana bread in to supplement and we had expected a loaf and it was 2 pieces. The manager said he would refund card for purchase after we left and he has time but — will not hold breath. Experiences at other BE have never been like this — seems this location has a lot of problems with management. Such a shame as it’s only of only a handful of restaurants in our neighborhood but the next time I want BE, I will drive to Hamilton Rd before I will try this location again.

Stopped in this morning for breakfast…08/18/2013. Arrived around 9 a. m…took our names. we were the only ones waiting… said they had tables. took our names… then more people started coming in… first a group of 6. arriving after us. were seated… then a couple with 2 kids were seated. then another couple… all arriving after us. by now the place is packed… finally we gave up. told the young lady we were leaving. all she said was sorry… this is a poor excuse. for a restaurant… left…called on my phone to speak to manager… BOB Reed… no apology. said they were trying to seat 6 people… what. there wasn’t anyone waiting when we arrived… this is sad… have always ordered lots of carryout here… have had issues with this as well… so sad… for a NEW Albany Restaurant

A good place when you want breakfast for dinner. I always have to have a 24 hour diner type place in my list of go tos because every now and then, the only thing that will fix a stress attack is a stack of pancakes at 8pm on a week night.
It seems like a good place to bring kids to too… very very casual and home style. reminds me of a Cracker Barrel actually. We don’t have these in California from what I have seen, but they make very good breakfast and pie.

I ordered curbside carryout for dinner on a Tuesday night. I showed up at the exact time the food was supposed to be ready. Everyone was getting out of their cars instead of calling the posted number so I did the same. I waited about 15 minutes in the restaurant before the food was ready. There was another gentleman there already who was waiting longer than me. It took about 3 people to fill orders. One guy was really slow and the kitchen wasn’t putting things out all at the same time. I have nothing against Bob Evans. Decent food and nice people. However, this curbside carry out system sucks. I should have just eaten in the store. It would have saved much aggravation.

My kids and I are becoming regulars at the Tuesday kids’ night. You get a free kid’s meal with every adult meal, and the food is pretty decent. When they get busy the service is sometimes slower, but it’s not inattentive. Our server last night, Kayla, was very awesome even with being pretty busy.
