RUNRUNRUN, horrible, most unprofessional salon I’ve ever dealt with!!! I wish I could give this place a negative zero!!! I too found the deal on GROUPON. Prior to scheduling I had a conversation with Mandi(the owner) confirming the details of the appointment, she did ask that I pay cash on the spot instead of purchasing the GROUPON because GROUPON takes a portion of their money if I book thru them… found that to be interesting(why would you promote on a site if you don’t like the way they operate) however she was nice over the phone, had a professional tone so I agreed & scheduled my appointment for a deluxe spa party for the following week at 6PM. The day of I spoke & text with Mandi & she said everything was still on schedule. I get a text at 6:00 saying she was stuck in traffic…6:15 another text that traffic is bad & she will on be able to only do part of the services since she was running so behind. Then at 6:35 she sends a text saying she can’t make it for personal reasons. I had friends visiting from out of town & we were all excited and expecting to have a good time. I called right after the text & she never answered or called back… what type of person cancels the day of &AFTER the scheduled time via TEXT!!! What a COWARD! Please do yourself a favor &DONOT waste the time or energy on this BOOTLEG, TACKY place you will regret it!

I experience a great deal of inconvenience from this salon. I came to Louisville from Colorado and a friend of mine arranged for the owner and her team to come to us… so when the hour came for our appointment we were told via text she would be late then she would discount us for being late… then she told us she was five minutes away but never showed… the reason: DIDNOTFEELCOMFORTABLEANDHERMANTOLDHERTOGOHOME!!! REALLY!!! how unfair and unprofessional. RUNAWAYFOLKS!!!

Mandi who is the owner greeted me in such a rude way. She accused me of being late to my appointment by 30 min. I may have been wrong but that is NO way to greet a paying customer. I would never do business with the owner and she makes the whole salon look undesirable.

After being in a friends wedding recently where I needed to get a manicure, I’ve been craving a gel manicure again. I bought a $ 20 groupon for a shellac manicure. I called to make an appointment, as suggested, and they were able to fit me in. I actually had something come up and I was about 30 minutes late to the appointment and called on my way, which they said was no problem. I thought the entrance to the salon was a little strange, there was a small waiting area directly to the right and a salon station(in the window front) and the concrete floor was splatter painted. Leslie was a very professional, warm, and friendly manicurist. She explained every part of the procedure. She was a perfectionist and my nails turned out beautifully. When I went back to the restroom to wash my hands as part of the manicure, the door was locked and they had to find someone to open it. This was kinda strange and made me slightly uncomfortable for some reason. There was also cigarette smoke smell on my way to and from the bathroom and one of the stylist actually mentioned it herself and sprayed airfreshner. I appreciate trying to solve the problem, but would expect more from a salon. I just wasn’t that impressed with the location and ambiance of the salon. 3 stars goes mostly for Leslie, who I would gladly revisit here or another location. Manicure lasted about 2 weeks and was solid for the event I wanted it for, so no complaints there.
