Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken

Extremely courteous staff! THe food is fabulous. Glad we didn’t let the last comment keep us away. Facilities clean.

Bought dinner there the other night for family. Macaroni and cheese had been cooked so long the noodles were breaking down to little pieces looked like rice. When called staff was rude. First answered the phone then hung up. Then when did get them on phone told me there was no way anything was wrong with it they packet it themselves. Then told me that if it was such a problem I needed to bring it right back. This is was at 8 pm and we live 30 minutes away. After arguing a bit and them finally admitting steam table was up too high said I could get another side item at a different time. After thinking about it don’t think I will return because of customer service. Plenty of other places to buy chicken.

I have to say I love the chicken, but the staff at the New Albany Store was rude at best. It’s Wed August 5^th and I’m writing about this as I sit in their parking lot. After forgetting ½ our order, and getting the other half wrong (through the drive thru) I went in and simply ask for them to make it right. The manager told me I made a mistake in ordering, um no I did not. My response was, with all due respect I know what I ordered! Her words, I pack this order myself, I’m not going to argue with you about it, take your chicken and leave… My reply, then I know who got my order wrong, the lady with the smart mouth!!! On the bright side, the store in Corydon is always polite and has never gotten my order wrong!!! your customer service SUCKS!!!

I have mixed reviews about Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken, but after great speedy service i thought it was time to get my opinion out. The chicken was hot and juicy and the biscuits where fluffy and not to soft on the outside. The cashier Nick was polite. They didn’t leave out any food like other fast food restaurants do sometimes. They are not a really cheap meal but for the money it is surely worth it.

Was craving some fried chicken fingers so stopped in at Lees. I ordered the 3 piece chicken finger dinner, brought it home and most of it ended in the trash. Huge disappointment. I received 3 small pieces of chicken that consisted mostly f breading. Very little chicken on these duds. Consider also that I arrived around lunchtime and the product I received was cold ad dry. I ordered mashed potatos and cole slaw as sides. The best thing in the box was the biscuit. I spent $ 7 on this garbage. Not sure what has happened to Lees but they need to get it together if they want me as a return customer.
