While looking for another restaurant, we found this pub and were glad we did! The bartender was knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly… Ate the chicken and dumplings and they were excellent and offered the old fashioned flavors! The menu offered several Great Britain dishes.

I woke up and decided to go eat breakfast for the first time in a long time and i remembered an envite from chef anna to let her cook me breakfast at the red dragon pub so i said to myself LETSDOOOOIT! And when she asked me what I wanted i said surprise me! And boy did she! After i ate half i was so stuffed i had to go back home and laydown from lack of mobility. Her country fried steaks are good mashed potatoes are da BOMB! all i can say is dont knock it till you try it it is a new place but anna isnt new she is a certified chef and a mother and a wife that combination screams professional belly and taste bud pleaser not to forget walk through door joining the pub next door for a beer or have one with your food. In closing ill say this ILLBEBACK!

New restaurant in New Albany. With the word ‘pub’ in its name it was a def try it out place. I think this place has great potential if it gets over the initial opening hurdles. The menu is quite extensive, which may be a concern if it over promises and can’t produce. However the Reuben sandwich I decided in today was pretty tasty. The meat had a good flavor, it was fresh corned beef-thickly cut– not deli thin sliced which would have been awesome had the fat cap been removed. Not every bite was fabulous. Chips were interesting, a thin lattice cut. Way too many for me to finish! I’d like to try them out with the beer cheese they offer. Service made the effort to be good. Had to request a napkin, which when delivered was a piece of paper towel. Didn’t ask, but was not given any silverware. Things to work on! We were told all sauces and dressings were freshly made in house. Fun décor to include a plane. Bar side(which appears to be set up for music), includes 2 tv’s, not sure if there are sports played(a exercise infomercial was on the whole time we were there– not the best choice with a less than healthy entrée!) and a dining side. Also needs to work on some spit and polish shine. Bar was a bit dusty and a waiting area? Seating table needed some serious wiping. Overall the menu had numerous items I’d like to try. Beer on tap is a GREAT need to keep the ‘pub’ name authentic. I think any patron going in would(okay, for sure me) expects it!
