Chili’s

Dined with my two daughters for lunch today. From beginning to end the worst service & food. Food was not only cold but seemed to have been from the night before. Waitress was nice, however horrible service and got the majority of the order wrong — including drinks.

I have always loved Chili’s. But my boyfriend, not so much. Today we went into Chili’s for lunch. The parking lot was empty so I knew we would have good service. When entering we did wait for a little bit until we were noticed by a hostess. No big deal. When we sat down we were promptly greeted by a waitress who knew was she was doing. We ordered the Skillet Queso with chips and salsa. I have always thought the skillet Queso is a little on the salty side but not too much to be inedible. The salsa is to die for. I’m not sure if it is made there but it is always so crisp and cold. It goes very well with the salty chips. Our appetizer cake put very quickly and we both ordered the lunch combos. We both had chicken enchilada soup to start off and I had bacon chicken ranch quesadillas with skillet mash potatoes. The soup is my favorite soup from any restaurant. Most times that soup is the reason I even want to go to Chili’s. The quesadillas were gooey with cheese and filled with bacon and chicken. It pairs nicely with the zesty ranch they give you to dip. The skillet mash potatoes are so good. Nice big chunks of potato and some potato skin mixed in as well. So good! My boyfriend had the new chicken southwest (?) burrito with seasoned fries. The fries were nicely seasoned and fresh. He said the burrito was so good, with the Mexican rice and seasoned chicken. He finally became a fan of Chili’s. And the great thing is after all that food our bill was only $ 22! Everything was very clean and neat. Very impressed with the overall cleanliness of the whole restaurant. Definitely the best out of chain places. Always great service and fast delivery times.
