Nana’s Groovy Cupcakes

Best peanut butter cupcake I have ever had! Moist, perfectly flavored, and decorated beautifully! These cupcakes were brought to my office as a gift — I have not visited the store yet.

Amazing service, great little family owned and operated store. We have had cupcakes, cakes, and the candies. They never let you down. I always encourage people to stop by and grub down.

I like supporting local businesses, and this one is conveniently located for me, so I go there on occasion despite the fact that the cupcakes are not the best in town. The cinnamon rolls are quite good. There’s ample parking in back. I applaud this grandmother («Nana») for running this operation on her own. I hope she does well.

Stopped by while our family was visiting schlitterbaun. Friendly owner and the shop was adorable! They have cupcakes, pies and it is also a candy shop! I purchased the coconut cream pie and it is the best coconut cream pie I have had! It tasted homemade. The filling was perfect with the right amount of sweetness. The coconut on top was delicious and it was the perfect size!

Finally, a place where I can fulfill my buttercream cravings!
Nana’s is simply awesome, I never knew they had ample parking in the back. The bakery is cutely decorated with cupcakes everywhere and they’re expanding to make an ice cream/​candy bar for all of you Schlitterbahn peeps. They sell their cupcakes at $ 2 each and they have small pies, cookies, cinnamon rolls at very decent prices.
I can completely vouch that Nana sure knows how to make an eye widening/​sigh inducing/​moist cupcake! She tops most of her cupcakes with beautiful fondant creations and the best buttercream that takes me back to those good old fashioned 1990’s wedding cakes. I buy cupcakes because of their beauty (weird) then I distribute them to my family, I tried the Lemony Sunshine and I was in pure lemon heaven… I ended up finishing the beautiful treat! The cupcakes are crazy moist and remain that way for days after purchase.
All my fellow New Braunfelians should definitely check out what Nana’s Groovy Cupcakes has to offer, I’m totally a fan!

The S’more cupcake is delicious. The chocolate cake was moist and the vanilla buttercream icing was fantastic. I will definitely be back to try the other flavors.
