Can I get a Hell No?
Let me summarize:
Received a burger with a bite out of it. They seemed a little too nonchalant about the matter.
Consistently screw up orders. It’s like pulling teeth to get them to correct it, and they always act put upon. (No, I am not a raging b*tch about it, I understand mistakes happen, but come on, when you act like it’s somehow MY fault and it’s a bother to correct it???)
Consistently rude. I know that places such as these have a high turnover rate for employees, but is being rude a prerequisite here?
Why have I been here multiple times? I feel obligated to explain. First trip, I was an innocent babe in the woods. Second trip, I was trying to give them the benefit of a doubt; maybe-​it-​was-​a-​bad-​day and all that. Third trip, I was sent on a food run in which I had no choice in this matter. Fourth/​Last trip, I was not driving, I was merely a witness to the fast food devastation that is this awful, awful place.
And in reference to the review that stated they had completed the construction out front? Yes. Yes, they did. And now they have created another mess, complete with orange cones and sh*tty drivers, to add to your dining/​getting-​in-​and-​out-​of-​there experience.
Don’t bother. And if you MUST, godspeed and good luck.

Good news, construction has been completed many months ago. It’s still a busy left turn (post office next door) but as a Sonic connoiseur this is a small price to pay for happy hour and other special goodies

Good quick lunch spot and can get away from the office for a few minutes.
One of the only places around to get a hot dog or coney around here.

Are you kidding me? Went there while in town today during their «Happy Hour» just to get a tea. Went to the drive thru and waited over ten minutes! How do you run out of tea during your busy tea time?! No one came out to tell us what the hold up was. When they finally came to the car they claimed they dropped it inside «all over strawberries» and had to brew more since they were then out. The tea was hot and so was I. I had to ask three times how much? Could hear at the drive thru box if they said. I then asked for my receipt and the carhop told me they no longer give receipts. What? I questioned here further… not my first trip to a Sonic! Then she said they only give receipts for food orders and said she thought it was a stupid practice. I am not stupid nor did I appreciate her attitude. As usual for a Sonic no change was offered or given. I really think management needs to know what is going on because this is totally unacceptable!!!
So sorry… I didn’t realia there are two locations in New Braunfels. This outrageous incident took place at the location at 861 Loop 337. Not certain if they are owned or managed by the same people or not, but I did put the bad review to the wrong location and I apologize.

Lettuce was gooey and brown. I have been in the industry before i did this for 10 years prior to joining the army, and there is no way i would have ever let this garbage out of my kitchen. Absolute garbage.

I’ve been coming to this sonic for years. It’s always so convenient to get to no matter what errands or shopping I’m up to here in New B.
The car hoppers are always extremely friendly, always big smiles.
Why not 5 stars? This is a very slow sonic. I’m not sure if that’s anything to complain about really though considering my good is always made perfectly. I much rather have a fresh, correct order than a sloppy wrong one even if it does take them a bit longer.
Will continue to make this stop when I’m in lovely New B!
