Sweet Dreams made the most delicious red velvet birthday cake for my sons birthday. I walked in to the store not knowing how I wanted the cake decorated. It was decorated absolutely perfect! We received so many compliments on how great the cake tasted from our guests. The price was very reasonable. We will definitely use Sweet Dreams again when we need a cake!

Awesome local bakery that makes everything from scratch! I needed 50 cupcakes for a baby shower that came out amazing and delicious. The employees are professional and extremely friendly. I highly recommend this place!

This place is AWESOME! This a cute little bakery in New Braunfels, TX with a huge variety of yummy treats! I have only had a few things here (a cupcake and a sausage and cheddar kolache) but their goodies so far have exceeded my expectations. I had the kolache this morning and it was so good– made with real, delicious sausage, and the perfect amount of cheese.
The cupcakes all look so delicious and they’re also aesthetically pleasing. So, besides the food, this place is cute, clean and the staff is so friendly. If you’re in new braunfels, stop by this local bakery and try it out!

wow— went in to purchase some treats for a friend and was delighted to find a wonderful selection and yes, fiendishly good chocolate cupcakes. Expect to pay more for quality, fresh and gourmet items. I will be back again to try more!

Sweet dreams is a beautiful little bakery that I’m in love with! Everything Mrs. Garcia makes is fresh and is baked/​prepared with love! This week we have literally tried everything in this bakery! I hope more people discover this lovely bakery and support Mrs. Garcia’s wonderful culinary work! The cupcakes were all moist and near perfection. Currently, they have these amazing weekday specials and my favorite is the buy one get one free cupcakes on Tuesday!
You must try the big red cupcake and the peanut butter cupcake… the filling is a dream!
We will continue to frequent Sweet dreams!

Sweet Dreams used to be the BEST. Gourmet, unique flavors and fresh BUT they closed Fall of 2012. They reopened around January 2013 with new owners. It is awful. Bland, tasteless, run of the mill flavorless cupcakes. This is a convenient location but I will go out if my way to go to another bakery. Kolaches awful as well.

I’m totally a fan of this small bakery! Not only because they’re 5 minutes from my house but their cupcakes are delish. I ordered a Caramel Cupcake and my mom had the Strawberry Shortcake Cupcake. Of course we shared and both were equally great. One huge thing that caught my eye was that the Strawberry Cupcake had a FRESH strawberry on top! Not dry, or wilting or a day old, so fresh and so juicy. Considering we visited pretty late into the afternoon, that says a lot about their ingredients! My only complain has to be that they don’t have an espresso bar available. Nothing goes better with a Cupcake than a latte. I understand they’re a new business so hopefully as they expand a coffee bar is in the horizon.

Wow! These were awesome!!! I had the cookies and cream cupcake and the thing I loved the most was the fact that the icing wasn’t overly sweet like most cupcakes. The cake was also so moist and not dried out. Overall this place is amazing!
