Our last visit here was disappointing. Food took a long time to be delivered and wasn’t hot when delivered. They were busy and perhaps were short in the kitchen. I know the waitress from prior visits. I like her, but she seemed over worked and we had to ask other other staff for ketchup, the bill, etc. Also, a couple weeks before our last visit, we bought a pie from the bakery and it wasn’t fully cooked. The crust was doughy and gross. This was the first time we had an issue with a pie from this location. I’m still rooting for this place as it is a convenient, family friendly, affordable option for us. I hope they are not slipping back to into the quality and service issues they’ve had in the past.

In the recent struggle by Perkins to change their brand to be a broader selection of items and not just a pancake/muffins/pie restaurant(read: Denny’s wannabe), this location makes a huge mistake in messing with the full proof, All-American, unbeatable and simply divine entrée of comfort food: the roast turkey sandwich. You know what you’re gonna get with this, and it’s why you order this entrée. White bread slices covered with mashed potatoes, turkey breast slices, the whole pile smothered in a puddle of light gravy — salt and all. Ooohhhh no, not at Perkins any longer. I was mortified to get the plate with a circle of mashed potatoes sitting in the center with some turkey meat on top and a drizzle(yes, just a DRIZZLE) of gravy on that circular food in the middle. And get this — the bread was white buttered toast slices sitting next to the barely gravied meat and potatoes! Asked for more gravy(after bemoaning this wrongful presentation of hot turkey sandwich) and the server brought a small plastic cup with some more. Nowhere near puddle-producing. Alas, I mentioned I owe it to my fellow Midwesterners to show what this chain thinks is progress but is, instead, a sacrilege against a traditional comfort-good entrée. Told the server I was going to post a photo. Not her fault — the field of «marketing» has changed the face and plate of a lot of traditional culture. The roast turkey or beef sandwiches should be left alone. Ye shall know this monstrous mistake by the toast slices surrounding the turkey splash. For the record — this location knows me, I’ve eaten here for years. The constant menu changing nowadays is not going to do it, folks. PS: the spinach/mushroom/tomato omelette is fantastic.

Regular Perkins experience – mediocre. Yes, I’m reviewing a Perkins! I’ll review a Perkins… or whatever. I went there for breakfast. I’ve been to this Perkins many, many times over the years. Usually, it’s meeting a friend for breakfast, late at night. The service was very good. The good was okay, about what you’d expect. I don’t think I’d eat at a Perkins these days for lunch or dinner. But I’d definitely do breakfast. I was most impressed by our server. She had a name tag that listed service since 1998. Wow!!! And she was still cheery and Johnny-on-the-spot, despite the fact that she had a HUGE table with about a dozen super old dudes, most of whom could not hear very well… funny. They were also dressed quite snazzy and dapper for a Perkins. Sometimes, watching the people is more fun than the food. –Daddy Maxx Retro

Perkins has some nasty food. If you get a cook in a good mood you might get an edible meal. This location has waitresses with rude service. It is open 24×7 like other Perkins so you have to kind of like it. Late night dinners are getting hard to come by nowadays!

Standard Perkins. Nothing to really set it apart, either good or bad. Service was standard, food was standard, prices were standard. Naturally it is ugly as hell inside and packed full of old people, but what Perkins isn’t?

Good service and food. Our waitress was very good and attentive. Décor is the only drawback being a little outdated.
