Explained to the hairdresser exactly what I wanted and she basically gave my long haired boy an 80’s mullet. He is 3 and a half and sat still the entire time thanks to the entertainment. Pretty much«weed-wacked» his hair. Hair grows, oh well, but I won’t be coming back.

I love it here! I have come several times for my son’s haircut(age 2.5), including his first haircut at age 2. They do an excellent job, and have a great experience for the kids. My son loves the waiting area with toys, the car chair during the haircut, and the balloon and lollypop that he gets after. The stylists are experienced and expert at kids cuts. Karen is great, and even managed to get clippers on my squirmy 2 year old! We will continue to come here for haircuts, and would highly recommend to anyone!

Angela is awesome and did such a great job with our 3 year old. He is so excited to get his hair cut and the best thing is that the cut looks great! I have been recommending to friends since I visited a couple of months ago.

We take our son to Sharkeys for his haircuts, and we have had great experiences here! The stylists are so good with him and they do an excellent job. The shop is nice and very kid-friendly. I have no complaints about the customer service at all. We are so happy with Sharkeys, we drive from Ambler to get a trim. I recommend giving them a try.

Customer service is the worst, Karen chopped my Granddaughters hair and when I asked her to clean up the lines she went off on me stating I don’t need this and left me sitting in the back and proceeded to start cutting another childs hair. I could go on for at least another 4 or 5 paragraphs, all I can say is find another place to get your kids hair cut. They treat you and your child very badly. Karen blamed the bad cut on my 3 ½ yr old Granddaughter moving. I said thats why I came here you are supposed to know how to cut Kids hair. Thats when she walked out on me. Unprofessional conduct is an understatement. Questionable stability and possible impairment noted. Take your business elsewhere, they lost my business and I have 5 Grandchildren.

Although this shop is completely geared toward kids, I have a 2 year old so it was perfect for him; the customer service from the employees is awful. The receptionists are less than pleasant and alto ugh my friends and I have been frequenting this place, we will never return. I called to schedule an appointment for my son, and they called and left a message with his appointment time. Fine; just to confirm and actually speak to a person I called within ten minutes of the message and was completely disrespected. The woman answering the phone gave such an attitude, couldn’t find my son’s name on the appointment list for that same day, told me there’s no way they can squeeze me in;(I JUST got a message saying they had an opening and put his name in). I politely asked her more than once if she could ask her coworkers who called me ten minutes prior, maybe they had a cancellation. She replied with a «We are so busy, and call so many people they wouldn’t remember». THEY called me with an appointment time, and acted as if I was inconveniencing them. It was a huge turn off and she never once tried to accommodate me in any way. I did the right thing, called, made an appointment, called to confirm(even though you don’t have to). I told her I would still come at my appointment time they gave me in the message, and she said with an awful attitude«Well, you’ll have to wait, I don’t know how long, like I said we are booked, I don’t know what to tell you». Needless to say, I did not go to the ‘appointment’. Myself and my three girlfriends will not be returning sadly. All of our children’s first haircuts were here and at one point was worth the 30 minute drive. There is another children’s hair salon(Sweet & Sassy) who exceeds my expectations; respect and making you feel comfortable bringing your child there. Bottom line, absolutely horrible customer service, which is a shame because it could be much more well managed. Can assure you they just lost 4 families business.
