I would Tony’s ZERO stars if possible… 1– how hard is it to listen to what a paying customer is ordering? if it is to hard, you should have stayed in school or get a job bagging groceries at a store 2– no peppers means no peppers… don’t argue with me on what I ordered… **** I guess you should have stayed closed instead of re-opening…what a waste of money… you would think after the first screw-up and I was nice enough to give you a second chance… YOUWOULDPAYATTENTION… another useless business that I hope closes its doors permanently…

This place is great, I have been going to ccsu for three years and I finally got a chance to go here. I ordered the small salad with tuna on it and it was amazing and huge! My sister ordered the chicken fingers and they were delicious and fresh! The service was slightly slow but she was so nice it didn’t even matter! Will most definitely be going back!

I ordered a 12 inch chicken cutlet grinder and a medium cheese pizza with mushrooms. I can say the pizza was probably the best I’ve had in Connecticut thus far. I tried a piece of the grinder which was really good I just wish it was hotter. I will say i ordered on a friday night so it was really busy in their defense. I will definitely order from here again.

I’m here for work and ordered a pepperoni pizza to the hotel. pleasantly surprised by what I received. Sauce was excellent and not standard bland, also the crust was great. A tad on the oily side but overall very good and I enjoyed it immensely. When the delivery guy arrived he called my cell, I answered and said«thank you Ill meet you in the lobby». Got to the lobby paid for my pie and went back up to my room. When I got there I saw that he called me three more times, not sure what that’s all about. will definitely order again while I’m here.

I am new to the area and when I started at CCSU Tony’s came highly recommended by most. I usually shy aware from highly endorse places because the fame/great reputation sometimes cast a shadow in the reality of the restaurant. Nonetheless I tried Tony’s one night and it was an amazing experience. The food was hot, and fresh. From the order-call to the delivery Tony’s prove to have great customer service. The delicious food only made my experience better. Tony’s certainly lived up to the hype. I’m happy I gave them a chance.

Had the buffalo chx pizza for delivery… when we opened the box at home we were completely disappointed… it was burnt and unflavorful and didn’t have much chicken in it at all. For what we paid for it was a disappointing dinner. We use to LOVE Tony’s right by CCSU but after that experience no thanks :-(

Pizza always gets delivered steaming hot. Always fast delivery. The one time they ran late, they had called me to let me know, which is unheard of! There chicken parm grinders are amazing. Only if they stayed open later It would be my go to place.

Delicious! Ordered a small pizza half cheese and half Hawaiian for myself. Wife ordered a chicken parmesan grinder. Pizza was awesome. Best I’ve had so far in NB. The chicken parmesan grinder was also very good. Only reason for not giving five stars is it took an hour and five minutes and we live three minutes away…

Tony’s is back open! Couldn’t ask for a better place for lunch or dinner ! Remodeling looks great, and makes dinner so enjoyable. A wonderful family run business that you cannot turn down!

Came in here for lunch today and the only thing I regret is not trying this place sooner! It’s one of those little hole-in-the-wall eateries; not really meant for dine-in(though there is ample seating to do so if you wish), but the food is soooo good. I ordered the chicken souvlaki gyro with fries. I’ve recently developed an addic-er, I mean craving for Greek food, so I decided to try this. I waited probably a little more than 20 minutes for my order, but I didn’t complain-they were busy. The gyro was bigand plentiful, packed full of chicken, tomatoes, and red onion and plenty of tzatziki sauce(God, I can’t get enough of that stuff…), and the fries were just how I like them: soft, hot, and had the perfect amount of salt. Seriously, it was so good, I just sowed the thing down(I must have looked like quite, uh, un-ladylike but I digress). I also got a Snapple to go with it. The total came to nine dollars and some change. Can’t beat that price! Even if you don’t go to CCSU, if you’re in the area, try this place. I look forward to going back; the curly fries look great!

This is my second time here and the food is sooo good! Amazing! It’s across from central and it’s kind of hidden but a hidden gem! They also deliver around the area and they offer take out. I’ve ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was delicious. Also a chicken grinder and it was exceptional :) The owners and staff are super nice and very friendly!

The food was really really good the delivery was fast and the woman taking our order was very pleasant and she was a lot of fun. We got a pizza with 3 toppings… Pepperoni sausage and bacon it was exceptional you could tell that all the toppings and were fresh as well as the dough that the crust was made from… I had the pastrami grinder… The pastrami was delicious some of the best I’ve ever had we also ordered baklava for dessert and it was really good not the best baklava I’ve ever had but it was really good. Will I order again definitely the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the baklava could have been just a little bit better.

This is definitely more of a take out place than dine in but regardless it’s great! The owners are extremely nice and helpful, but the food is always fantastic! The pizza has an awesome crust and their white pizza never disappoints! The calzones are always bigger than your head and can be save for multiple meals, same with the majority of their portion sizes. Great place for ccsu students to get some actual good food!

I came in around closing time. There was of course no customer in site, but a few of the staff cleaning up. It’s pretty nice in here for a campus restaurant. I ordered the Philly cheese sandwich. It was pretty juicy and tasty. The staff were pretty nice. Good place to come to before or after class or studying at the library.

Tony’s offers consistently delicious grinders and the salads are also as good as you would expect from a pizza joint. I have been eating at Tony’s for the past 11 years and there is no other place I would prefer for grinders. The only opportunity they have is that, over the last couple of visits, the bread has been too hard. Other than that you need to give this place a shot.

11÷4÷12EDIT: I promised an edit after further exploration and here it is: I tried a medium mozarella pizza, and it’s high up in the ranks next to Frank Pepe’s and Plum Tomato, as far as I’m concerned. Enough said, right? What everyone says about this place is true. My only complaint is the juke box which has a horrible selection of music that randomly plays, but someone reading this might be into it haha. Anyway, definitely check it out. 4÷30÷11(4 stars):I’ll have to edit this once I try more than their soup, but I must talk about the service: My classmates decided this would be a good place to meet for a group project get together. The waitress was weary that we might not order food, but I assured her one if not all would. She was more than happy to provide menus and pretty much stayed out of our way for almost 2 hours! There were 5 of us and we got pretty loud, but it seemed welcomed which I liked. The other girls had rave reviews, but I wasn’t too hungry so I ordered a small soup which cost less than Blimpie’s…it was really good. Nice and hot. She served it with crackers. One girl had fried mozzarella and another had a salad with pepperoni mozzarella and something else. anyway both looked good. Another girl offered her jalapeño poppers which were REALLY good. I also to sample the fresh bread.
