Haiku: Consistently weak Performance with its service. Coffee’s not well made. Sketchy area, Convenience is New Brunswick Train station commute!

it’s the Dunkin Donuts under the train station. This place is 24⁄7 I REPEAT this is the only 24⁄7 coffee shop for those college kids dying for caffeine at 3am during finals week. This place is far from a nice place, but the convince will get you. It’s halfway between college ave and george street. For most nights — don’t worry there’s a cop stationed either outside or he’ll be in the store. At night the doors are locked and you order through the window. You have to enter through the street side at night. The employee turnover rate here is high so make sure you specify EXACTLY what you want your order to be.

A stop at this place is like a ritual for me before getting a train out of New Brunswick! Have to agree with most reviewers about service being slow, the occasional goof up and the fact that they provide paper cups only for medium/large(small comes in a styrofoam cup and no sleeve, which makes it tough to carry around). Indeed, the station has its share of homeless people(HOW is that a Dunkin problem?), but I’ve never been hassled by one. What I love about the place is that they employ local kids, differently abled kids and a supervisor is always in the background, ready to step in where required. They also have so many footfalls that the food is bound to be fresh. Most of the time I also see off duty/beat cops getting a snack here, so safety really isn’t a concern! Small place though, and not a coffee place I’d want to sit down at.

The products are good, but the service is terrible. Staff there is very slow, very slow! You have to wait for couple of minutes just for a cup of coffee or sandwich. People in drive through are very nice though.

a terrible DD. incredibly slow, yet they are located at the train station where people are often in a big hurry. the homeless sleep in the lobby area out front so at night you have to place your order through a sliding walk up window, if you can get the unfriendly apathetic staff to notice you at all. you almost are forced to go here out of convenience if you are catching a train, but if you can get your coffee or donut or breakfast somewhere else before catching the train to work or wherever you may be headed, do it. the DD across the bridge in Highland Park is so much nicer, like night and day.

I pass by this place a lot and never steeped in until now and it’s a good solid D&D. coffee is what you expect good and not the price you have to pay in Starbucks. Donuts were ehh but not really a fan of donuts anyway

The almost worst!!. I go here FAITHFULLY sometimes a few times a day. I also buy from the baskin ribbons. I’ve been there twice after hours, there were several homeless men sleeping on the floor! SLEEPING! The next tome I came I was with my 10 yr old, the look on his face was horrible when he saw the men! I was disgusted! Then to be told that they were closed– Ummm its a 24 hr store! Wth! I’ve been there and mo one ever came to the window. The baskin robbins they don’t understand simple English like-pint! Ummm isn’t this an ice cream store? The training video doesn’t explain a pint? It pisses me off to go here because I love dunkin. There are a few employees that are helpful & speak & understand English. I have to repeat my coffee order 2 or 3 times. If someone would answer the phone when i called the store I would complain to the manager! On a better note when i get the right person my coffee is good.

Efficient! Dunkin has their act together and Starbucks coffee could be found on the floor at every Dunkin. Their is absolutely no comparison to how much better Dunkin coffee is than Starbucks. Why is Dunkin efficient? They have two cash registers running and before even giving the cashier your order, they have an individual behind the counter taking your drink order. When you get up to the counter, your coffee is already there. It has never taken more than 5 minutes to get in and out of this Dunkin donuts, that is even with a line out the door. I recommend the egg and cheese wake-up wraps and an extra large hazelnut coffee.
