Love this place! Came here for the first time a few weeks ago and ordered the Rice Cake Dumpling Soup() and LA Galbi. The appetizers they serve and the salad are so delicious. The salad in particular has a light, lemony dressing which is so sweet and reminds me of summer! The food came fairly quickly and I was not displeased! I finished everything on sight and left feeling very full and happy. If you are near the Rutgers campus or in the area, you have to try My Way! It’s a cozy restaurant with friendly service and amazing Korean food!

This place has great food for great prices. We went there as a group of five and the waiter was incredibly attentive to our needs. If you like flavorful food has a homemade feel to it, I highly suggest going here. I’ve had the bulgogi and jim galbi and both were really good. The kimchi pancakes were also very tasty appetizers.

Just average Korean soup, tastes good. But the variety of side dishes are far from enough. The fried bbq dish is good too.

Ordered the seafood soondooboo and kalbi tang, both were very good in my opinion. The banchan was a solid amount and very tasteful as well. However, they don’t have a wide variety of banchan. Would recommend this place to Korean food lovers!

Awesome authentic Korean food. You gotta try the Pajeon, Japchae and the Bibimbap. Oh and the complimentary side dishes are bomb!

The food here is solid and reasonably priced. I came here with a group. We all got the prefix and really enjoyed it. They don’t give you as many sides as other korean BBQ places in the area, but the meal portions were very large so I didn’t miss them.

This place always looks empty when I walk by — not sure why as the food is pretty good. They give you a decent amount of pajan(small appetizers) and the entrees are good and cheap. They don’t have as many selections as some of the korean restaurants near Edison but not bad for a collegetown.

Really great Korean food. I am vegetarian and the have many selections for vegetarians. Every time we come to New Brunswick, this is our go to place wether it is lunch or dinner.

Great food! Boyfriend and I got a pre-fixed meal which included a salad, arrangement of small dishes, selection of steamed or fried dumplings, an entrée(has four choices) and ended it off with a scoop of ice cream. And all for $ 16.00! I would give this restaurant 4 stars but the waiter bugged me a bit, he was really friendly and joked with us but then he continued to linger around our table and try have conversations with us. The restaurant was empty so he was clearly bored but every time we tried to have a conversation he would start talking to us while he cleaned off the other tables. I’m not trying to be mean, it was just annoying. Overall the food really hit the spot and 10⁄10 will be coming back.

This place offers a great prefix menu that cannot be beat! For $ 16 you can choose from: –Appetizer: Beef or Vegetable dumplings steamed or fried –Entrée: Bibimbap, Chicken or Beef Bugolgi and one more item that I can’t remember. The Bibimbap and bugolgi come out on sizzling plates. –Dessert: Your choice of vanilla, red bean or green tea ice cream. Not to mention the small Korean small plates, miso soup and salad that comes with it. Every Korean place I go to I wind up spending at least double for the same thing! Don’t forget to top your food with Korean red sauce for a kick! All the food was delicious! The décor is simple, but clean and the staff is friendly.

Decent food but service wasn’t very good, server made tons of mistake when we were the only table there. The food is not the best Korean food, but it’s decent.

This restaurant is a quaint restaurant in the heart of New Brunswick. It is quite authentic for Korean food, since it is family-run. Always the best. It has a great menu of Korean food. I have had a few of the dishes. All are good. I had the Jam Bhong and Bhimibap. Both are great dishes. The Ham Bhong is a spicy soup with some seafood. It is quite good although it has clam shells. I suggest asking to remove it. The Bhimibap is a rice dish with a bunch of vegetables with a bit of curry paste. I suggest one or the other. There are two things improving: the price and relative lack of vegetarian options. It is slightly pricey with both costing $ 11. The menu does not have a whole lot of begetarian options by itself. Noodle section by itself has most of the vegetarian options. Not too many since i have some vegan friends. However this does not distract from the friendliness. If you get to know the waiter bit(the owners’ son), then you will love the customer service but that is not a requirement. He is quite funny and friendly if you tr and interact with him. Key is to talk animé/cartoon/popular culture with him. Recommended yes!

This was the first restaurant I ever went to as a Rutgers student and its become a favorite spot for whenever I’m craving Korean food! I always get the same order here. Ddok boki(spicy rice cakes) and the hot stone Bibimbap which are both great. I’ve had the ramyun here as well because it was only ~$ 5 but its not even worth that — its basically just instant ramen. Also, gotta love the starters! The salad, soup, kimchi, picked fish and other veggies are half the reason I love coming here. Prices are okay, you can still fond some places that are cheaper on Easton though.

Whenever I didn’t want to go far for Korean food, I would always come here for a delicious Korean meal! I usually come here for dinners, but once in a while, I would come for the lunch specials, which offer a great price! The enjoy the beef short ribs and bulgugi, because the beef short ribs are generously seasoned and flavored, and the texture is tender. Also, every dish comes with complementary side dishes in the beginning such as salads, kimchis, and fish cakes! They don’t have a great variety of tofu soups tho, but they do offer several variety of noodle soups. I had a spicy noodle soup once, and it was very nicely spiced and very SPICY! Since it’s a family owned business, they usually only have one server, and the service is average! Nice service but sometimes, it can be slow.

I got the bulgogi box for lunch– it was average at best(I’m used to super authentic Korean food and this was closer than other places but not close enough). Came with kimchi and a little dish divided into three or four sections with various accoutrements– only one of which I enjoyed(the tofu). I’d be happy to give 3 or 4 stars if I didn’t feel super sick all evening and night after my meal. Spoke to others from my group later and realized several also experienced the same issue(we all had different meals). Will not be back.

Nothing fancy going on here, but very solid Korean cuisine. The Kimchi pancake was excellent and had great texture. I had the Chicken Bokkeum — basically stir fried spicy chicken with veggies. It came out sizzling and hot. It could have been a bit spicier, but the flavor was excellent.

First time I came here was for dinner with my girlfriend and the food was amazing. I don’t recall the name but I remember it was a bunch of pork and some rice on the side. But I went again yesterday with my girlfriend for lunch and got a Bulgogi dish, which I think was less tastier than the pork dish, and I also got Ramyun. I am giving three stars to this place because the ramyun that was served looked, smelled, and tasted exactly like Shin Ramyun(instant noodles you can get for much cheaper than what I paid). And I had shin ramyun one day before that so I could tell. Not sure if it was because it was the lunch menu. tl;dr– don’t get the ramyun(ramen) here, it’s shin ramyun

A large group of us stopped by mid-week, and while we had split into two tables, we really loved the food and the friendly service. Stand outs included: –Korean seafood pancake –Wen Jang Jji Gae(tofu soup) –Jap Chae(cellophane noodles)

Great little restaurant with authentic foods and a nice, clean interior. It has a full menu of Korean food, and everything is translated into English too so don’t worry if you can’t read Korean/don’t know what the different foods are exactly. It has comprehensive, but concise, selection Korean meats, soups and noodles. I always get the kimchi tofu soup(sondubu). I love it! The flavor is really rich and sharp, and it’s actually spicy(you can ask for mild if you don’t like spice). The side salad is good to eat afterward to cleanse my palette. Unlike other Korean restaurants, My Way doesn’t have a lot of side dishes. The many times I’ve been there it only has 3 small side: seasoned tofu, seasoned cucumber and some kind of fish cake. The couple that own the restaurant are super sweet too. I think the man takes care of the front and serving, while the the woman makes food in the kitchen. It’s so nice that Rutgers students get to have an affordable, authentic Korean restaurant practically right on campus. It’s not the best quality Korean food(check out Edison or Bergen County for that), but it’s pretty good and convenient. Whenever I visit RU or am home on break, I always come here for my fix.

Great little authentic mom and pop Korean food restaurant, the décor was cute as well. The sever was very friendly and gave helpful suggestion. The complementary soup and also the dishes of small little bites: tofu, Kim chi was really yummy! Great Kim chi! I wish they sold it here, I would have bought some to take home! A decently size menu with lots of authentic dishes to choose from. For apps we had the Ra bok Ki: house made yam noodles with veggies, very refreshing dish, and a generous portion! For my lunch I had bulgogi dun bap, loved the hot stone presentation, very impressive! A huge potion for 8.99! Great deal and it’s delicious! I felt like I was sitting in a Korean home having lunch! Overall a great little place to grab a bite! And very affordable! What can I say it’s a WINWIN! Next time I’m craving Korean I’m definitely going back!
