I love the Strombolis and the beer selection is outstanding. Be wary of football season, New Brunswick is a college town and this place gets packed. Regardless parking is horrible. but there’s a garage a short walk away.

We came here for dinner on a Wednesday in June and still had to wait around 20 min to be seated. Overall, the food was good. The chicken wing potachos were definitely a 5⁄5 while the 6 cheese boli and the buffalo chicken sandwich were average. Definitely a must add place to your Hub city bucket list!

I looooove this place. The chicken cheesesteak is my favorite favorite one. Whenever I go here it is always good! The service is always good as well. This place does get pretty crowded so make sure you make reservations if you have a large group.

I work in New Brunswick and have had my share of the famed strombolis. After reading a review from one of my Unilocal friends about this place from her Rutgers days, I went in to try something different that she ate. The tip was the spicy beef potachos. It’s a large plate of crispy potato chips covered in minced beef, cheese, tomatoes, onions, ketchup, and topped with a dollop of sour cream. I was supposed to go with a coworker to share this but ended up going solo. No worries, I finished the whole thing and happy I didnt have to share it. I can see this being a favorite after late night bar hopping. It was off to the gym after work to burn off some of those thousand potacho calories but it was worth a try.

It is five stars for what it is. It is a college bar with fun, interesting, inexpensive food. Im still stuffed! When you walk in there is a little line that forms waiting for the bouncer to check ids to get to the outdoor bar, if you are going to sit and eat you can bypass this and go to the hostess station. There are a bunch of different areas to sit, we sat upstairs by a window. It’s no frills but it’s a cool atmosphere. On to the food, we had the original potachos with spicy meat, omg please order these, it’s homemade potato chips, ketchup, tomatoes, meat, cheese, sour cream, basically nachos with potato chips instead of tortillas. Very delicious! We both got bolis, which are the claim to fame there and they were really good. They are basically Stromboli with a different spin. I got the chicken with peppers and onion, I had the baby size combo with a salad, plenty for me, the salad was pretty lame tho, next time I would opt for the soup. Hubs got the original, capicola, salami, mozzarella I think, he just opted for the large. They were perfectly cooked, the crust was great. I don’t go to New Brunswick that often but this place I will definitely return to. The service was great, our server was really nice and attentive, the hostesses were really sweet, even the bouncer was nice! Definitely looked like a fun place to drink if I was 10 years younger. The fishbowls look like a good time! Cheers!

Solid college joint! I came here with a friend and we definitely stuffed our faces! This place looks like your typical college dive bar, but I have to say it is a bit classier… The TVs are old but the service is friendly. They also have a very solid beer selection(bottled and draft). We shared an order of chicken wing potachos(which were awesome!) and we each had our own large stromboli. It was definitely filling. The food was solid though. I’m sure if i was drunk or had the munchies, this place would be my go to place(since RU Hungry is always crowded).

I came to Stuff Yer Face tonight because my friend and I wanted a fishbowl. They aren’t the typical«fishbowl»… it’s in a pitcher and it’s HUGE(60 oz). I got the Blue Flamingo which tastes like a Blue version of a Pina Colada. It wasn’t too strong which I liked and pretty easy to drink. My friend got the Island Escape which is more like a banana drink. I’m not a fan of banana but it was decent. She enjoyed it though. We shared the Bruschetta which was absolutely delicious and the Big Mac Boli which tasted exactly like a Big Mac and it was awesome! The food was good, drinks were good and service… not so good. It took us forever to find our waitress and we were just sitting there waiting and waiting while she talked to her friends. Overall, pretty decent and I had to check this place out since Adam Richman was here from Man VS Food!

How can I begin to explain the love I have for this college town gem? My family and I ventured out to Jersey after seeing Stuff Yer Face featured on Man vs Food. I’ve made it a personal mission to try as many places I’ve seen on TV that have piqued my interests, whether it be an Andrew Zimmern, Anthony Bourdain or Adam Richman production. I have to say that to date, I have not been steered wrong. It’s at the point now that any time we find ourselves in Jersey or just driving through, we must stop by SYF for their spectacular bolis. We always create our own and go for the Large so that we have enough for two meals. They offer so many different ingredients to customize your Boli from Brie Cheese to a Chipotle Aioli. The Bolis already come with some standard default ingredients that you can build off of, like Mozz, Tomato Sauce, Onions and Peppers. Depending on when you venture out, they offer decent drink specials but even when they don’t, the prices are reasonable. If it’s a weekend, be prepared to wait. They have an ok turnaround time for tables but it gets pretty crowded. They have a dining room upstairs, two downstairs by the bar and in the back front. They also have outdoor seating and bar area. It gets lively, they have fun two-person cocktails, darts, teles and great energy. We love coming here to eat and you will too. Oh and try their other food also. They’re not just awesome at bolis but their appetizers have always been good. The pierogies are slamming!

Stuff Yer Face is largely a go-to for Rutgers students, myself included. It’s always a good time — between the drinks and the food, you won’t be disappointed. Drinks: A Stuff Yer Face«fishbowls» are super popular, which are mixed drinks that come in a big plastic pitcher. They have four different kinds of fishbowls, all very tasty and(depending on the bartender) can be strong. A favorite among my friends is the Horny Hawaiian — a must-try, just like the others. They come with long straws, so I normally get one to share with a friend or two. If you’ve never had one, I would definitely share one first and see how you feel — be careful, they’re super yummy and you never really know how much alcohol is in these(could be a little, could be a lot, depending on the bartender). Food: B+ Food-wise, Stuff Yer Face is most popular for their strombolis, which are cooked very well. You can get a «baby boli» or a larger one, depending on how hungry you are. My personal favorite food on the menu is the potachos, though — your typical bar food, but better. Potachos are like nachos, but with thick cut potato chips. I typically get the pulled porktachos, in which the chips are topped with cheddar cheese, hot peppers, onions, and pulled pork, BBQ sauce and sour cream. SODELICIOUS. Ambiance: B The restaurant part of the establishment is nothing fancy or upscale. It’s much more about the bar and the food. Stuff Yer Face is a college staple for Rutgers, but they’re very strict with IDs, so you’ll find that this place is not really a trashy college bar like the majority of others at Rutgers. Stuff Yer Face is a very chill and slightly more mature environment. And it’s great because while more mature, it’s still got a super casual vibe. There’s a bar inside and outside. Their outdoor area attracts a lot of people once April and May comes around every year — their outdoor bar is great to hang out with friends on a warm day. They have seating out there, as well as tall tables. Great place to be :) Note: you can’t sit down at a table unless you’re eating!

Iconic restaurant that you must bring visitors to! Stuff is a landmark in easton that attracts hundreds of patrons a day. During lunch and dinner they are a sit-down restaurant that serves their trademark Strombolis. There are about 30 different choices so everyone can find something they love! Stuff also has a HUGE beer menu called the beer Bible. I would suggest getting Merry Monks or Paulaner as those are my two favorites. On Thursday-Saturday nights, stuff transforms into a bar that I personally don’t care for. It is super crowded and not my crowd. Usually a place for frat guys to go to when they are over 21.

Small little bar with an even bigger outdoor section. This is a fun Rutgers bar, great drinks and food. It gets really crowded at night time. Especially during the summer when the outdoor section is open. If you’re into craft beer, this is a place to come. They have lots of good beer that you can order on tap and in bottles. They don’t always bring you the proper glassware for the proper type of beer but I’m not here to show off my beer snobbery, right??? I love coming here to try new beers.

I ordered the meatball and eggplant boli and my husband ordered the Roth boli. I have been wanting to try this place after watching man vs. Food. I was a bit disappointed as I had high hopes for this place but I didn’t find anything special about the boli at all. We also ordered the nachos. While we were ordering via the phone though, we had ordered meat on the nachos but I don’t think the lady on the phone heard us as the music was so loud on her end. Unfortunately, our nachos were meatless and it was something I was looking forward to having. I think that is my only complaint. I can’t say much about the ambiance as we only picked up the food. It’s great if you like bars/happy hour though from what I can tell.

Ahh, college. Stuff Yer Face was one of my favorite spots in New Brunswick to hang out with friends. Definitely try their potachos(best I’ve ever had!), their trademark fish bowls, and yummy strombolis.

This is a Rutgers favorite! I recommend getting a fish bowl along with your boli. Best bolts around. I have tried many different bolis and have yet to dislike one. Prices are affordable! Stuff can get pretty packed at night times especially during the school year. So come early! Great places for dinner and a few drinks.

Stuff is Yer face is a Rutgers staple and if you’re a college student, you know you’re always here for their fishbowls and bolis. Their are 4 different fishbowl flavors and you can’t really go wrong with any of them. They raised their price from $ 14 to $ 16, which is a little annoying but oh well, after you finish one you’ll be pretty buzzed,(if you’re not exploding from the sugar). My favorite boli is the chipotle pork. So juicy and flavorful. They have a great outdoor bar and seating area that is a fun spot for students during the spring and summer seasons. It’s always a good time at stuff!

Yeah I became a fan right away. It’s a really cool place in the heart of NB. Donna was our server and she was totally cool. Really made the entire experience for us. It was my first boil experience and I’m proud to say that I’m truly addicted. I ordered the original with no onions because I wanted to taste the meat and sauce. The onions have a way of hijacking the flavor of certain items if they put too much in. They are like Hot Pockets made by the hands of God. I was totally impressed and wished I had ordered the large. I got a soda with my order and the whole thing was under $ 11. Where can you eat legendary food for that price? Anyways, many thanks to Donna for being great and thanks to SYF for the great first experience!

Stuff Yer Face is a staple of the Rutgers community and always delivers, whether you’re there for the good bar food or the huge fishbowls. First one thing needs to be said: PATACHOSAREGODSGIFTTOMANKIND. literally they are amazing! After you get these you must get a boil!(Stromboli) they are their signature menu item and they have so many different types. They aren’t the best thing you’ve ever tasted but they are pretty darn good and you can’t get something like that anywhere nearby. I got the Laura boil and I enjoyed it, but get a side of marinara! Sometimes some of the bolis could use a tad bit more sauce. Overall a great place to go on game day or any other day for that matter.

Stuff yer face is the PERFECT spot after a Rutgers win. The entire place is packed with everyone wearing Rutgers gear, which makes the experience even better! On Saturday, expect to get IDed at the door and get a wristband. You can still get in if your underage, however you won’t be allowed in their outdoor section. I was hesitant to order a pepperoni boli because I was worried that it may be spicy, but it wasn’t spicy at all! The dough was cooked perfectly, light and soft, and that was my favorite part about my boli. My boil definitely could have used more filling… They skimped on the pepperoni big time. However, the dough was so good that it made up for it! If you haven’t tried the potachos… Get yourself to Stuff Yer Face and try them NOW. The potachos are by far the best thing on the menu and are a MUSTHAVE! They’re hugeee and perfect for sharing with a group of people. Our service was pretty slow, but that is expected after a football game. If you’re in the area and looking for a «Rutgers experience», Stuff yer Face is the place for you!

What can I say about Stuff Yer Face? Since I attended Rutgers as an undergrad, this has been one of my favorite places to eat. Any chance I can, I come back here and enjoy the best Stromboli you can buy literally anywhere… I forced my wife to come here when we were dating and any time I mention this to her as a food choice, it’s an automatic yes. Since moving to upstate NY(an hour north of Manhattan) the opportunities to go have become less and less. I mainly attend before or after RU home games or when visiting family/friends nearby. Today we decided to stop by before taking 287 back home. It was worth the extra time it took to get home for sure We typically start with the Potacho’s — potato chip nachos topped with onions, sour cream and ketchup(yes ketchup) with optional bacon and spicy beef(or instead of the beef, pulled pork or buffalo wings) topping. These are amazing and are a must before the main course As for the Stromboli, you can get it in 3 varieties(4.5 inches, 9, or 18). The typical one is the 9 inch one but if you’re feeling ambitious go for the 18. I haven’t been able to polish one of those off in a sitting since my college days… ugh, I’m a shadow of my former self. My vegetarian wife ALWAYS gets the OP Boli — a Stromboli with onions, peppers, mozzarella and tomato sauce. It’s her favorite and she will never stray from it. As for me, I’ve bounced around boli to boli with a new personal favorite that lasts several of visits until I choose to replace it. Lately I’ve been choosing to make my own(any 5 meats you want and they add the fixins — onions, peppers, mozzarella and sauce). Throw in pepperoni, sausage, cappicola, pulled pork, steak, chicken, bacon, etc. Any concoction you can think of works and I can pretty much guarantee that you’ll love it! They have an amazing beer list that rotates every few weeks on tap or by bottle. They had their own brew at one point(to celebrate their anniversary) but I haven’t seen anything since. Either way, you’ll find anything you’re looking for People tend to think of the grease trucks when they think of RU, and of course they are part of the school for sure, but when it comes down to it I think Stuff Yer Face is a better representative to wave the block R proudly on its walls. Stop in and have the best boli you’ll ever eat

4.5 Stars I’m surprised to give this place such a high rating, but hear me through. For a semester at Rutgers, I was literally here a few times a week — either it was for happy hour/drinks, lunch, dinner, or late night drinks, this was the spot. Upon becoming a regular and coming here at different times, I would say that the service and food are overall very consistent and always as expected. No surprises. Just what I wanted. The restaurant tends to be well staffed, and I love how the waiters always communicate to us in regards to a delay in the food or something. Most importantly, the waiters are very knowledgeable and familiar with the menu. Whenever I ask for recommendations, they could give me valuable information and good suggestions! Must get the fishbowl, potachos with beef, and a Stromboli!
