There are few places you can mange to find in New Brunswick that offer wings strictly. I’ve eaten here countless times for the sole fact they are the only place in town that really can make decent wings but the 3 star review comes from the lack of consistency and the people behind the counter. I would like to start off with the food because it is actually what I would say is average in terms of my wing standards but they are as good as it gets around here. Whenever I call in for a pick-up there is generally no problems and the service is rather quick; but upon picking them up and paying for them it can be hassle where you ask for someones attention and the someone will be on their phone or too preoccupied with watching the television and the social interaction skills are a bare minimum. Delivery here is another story. Sometimes the food will be delivered exceptionally fast and other times slower obviously due to time and the amount of orders they have so it’s acceptable and I can live with it. When you get the food delivered this is where the consistency factor tends to change. When you get the food sometimes it will still be hot and crispy as they should be and other times the food can be lukewarm and soggy. Maybe they need more delivery drivers on staff to off-set the time frame of the food getting to the houses, or possibly a different container that can preserve the heat? Overall, I order from here somewhat frequently and it seems as if they are currently under renovation and supposed to open back up the summer of 2016. So hopefully we will see some improvements once they re-open!

Love the chicken wings here. They are crispy, juicy and the sauces are wonderful. Pretty much everything you’d want at a wing spot. They forewarn you that your order will take a while, because they make everything fresh, I suggest ordering ahead. The prices are great and the people working the counter are always friendly and talkative. Doesn’t hurt that they stay open late to satisfy a late-night wing craving. This is a strictly take-out only spot. Don’t come here expecting to sit down, there’s no seating. They also do delivery, but it takes a while, so I prefer to pick up.

Best wings in the area! So impressive for a college town eatery. The wings are super crispy and the sauces are amazing. These wings are big and meaty! You can’t beat the prices either. They are often running deals on scarletmenus. Check it out!

This place is disgusting and SIFNIFICANTLY overpriced. Waffle fries were burnt to a crisp, easily the worst I’ve ever had. Wings are terribly tough to chew. Dry rub sauce actually physically hurts you as it moves down your throat, because it’s so dry. Even the regular sauce is not exactly good. Would NOT recommend.

Great wings, and variety! Unfortunately, I now avoid ordering from here because the wait is pretty ridiculous! Whether you do delivery or pick up, expect to wait 40+ minutes for 10 wings. Service can be greatly improved!

Good food, poor service. If you close ½ hr or an hr before whats listed on EatStreet, Unilocal, and your website, then change those hours. Otherwise you’re gonna lose customers!

I called one hour to close to order delivery. I called and was put on hold for TWENTYMINUTES and then was hung up on I called again and was put on hold for another 10 minutes. I screenshotted the second time. I know what’s going on, they don’t want to put in delivery orders because they want to go home. NEWSFLASHITS1HOUR to close and you can’t blow of customers like that because you’re lazy! So disgusted. I was going to order $ 40 worth of wings. Also subtract any future business I would have done with them, approximately $ 200. Thanks for wasting a half hour of my life.

Nice local wing place. Awesome amount of flavors to choose from and always very fresh, never had an issue with the food. The building itself is small so there really is not any available set down area its more gears for take out/delivery. That said I have ordered delivery from them many times, and never had a issue. It’s always arrives within the hour. Heck today I ordered and it was delivered to me in 10 minutes! I didn’t even have the porch light on yet. A in all one of the better wing places I’ve found. Prices are reasonable too. You get a good amount of wings for the money you spend, though they did just recently start charging a delivery fee. It’s only one dollar but still that’s a new add-on they they did not have before.

Not bad wings for the price! Plenty of flavors so that you don’t get bored of it. The waffle fries are delicious but make sure you eat them hot! The Hot sauce scale is pretty accurate the Jet Fuel is about appropriate for any normal person that eats a decent amount of hot sauce. Give all the flavors a try and you’ll find out which ones you really like. The delivery does take awhile — so if you’re in the area and you want them hot and delicious just walk on over. There’s no place to sit so it’s all takeout. Additionally, if you come here a lot use the EatStreet app because they offer rewards as well as discounts if you eat out enough. Occasionally they will also have sales on the 1lb wings! Sometimes it gets discounted to 1.99! They offer two dipping sauces Ranch and Blue Cheese. Both are decent.

Just tried to order food from them through EatStreet, and neither we nor EatStreet could get in touch with the restaurant to confirm the order — despite it being during their open hours, the phone just kept ringing for multiple tries over twenty minutes! And this was when they were running a promotion with EatStreet too, to make it even worse. We wasted a decent chunk of our evening getting hungrier while trying to figure this out — unless they can get their act together, we won’t be ordering from them again.

Wings Over Rutgers is a very good establishment. I must say the selection of sauces is pretty vast, and you won’t get bored at this place by eating the same thing because there is just so much to choose from. Furthermore, the wings taste extremely good, I am really a fan of the flavor and taste of the wings. Additionally, Wings Over seems to always have deals and promotions for their wings, another plus for this restaurant.

Thing about this place is, the foods pretty decent but terribly terribly over priced. $ 7 for a half pound of wings?! Like get outta here. They do partner with eat street so constantly check that app for deals. They’ve gotten my order wrong many times which also is annoying. The dry rub wings and waffle fries though are very delicious. Definitely should have it at least once.

I used to love this place. But just had some horrible service. Ordered at 11pm & arrived around 1:30am. Only saving grace is that the woman on the phone said we would get 1lb of free wings with our next order. Hopefully that’s true… I’ve probably ordered from this place close to 15 times yet the driver always gets lost on the way. According to Google maps, I’m 1.6 miles from this location. How lost can you be? Why would you order from here if the driver always gets lost you ask? Because the wings are actually good. I love their citrus chipotle sauce. The food is great so this place definitely has potential. Unfortunately poor management and a transient pool of drivers takes away from their delivery capabilities. Managers need to train drivers & they need to learn how to manage demand during peak times. It won’t exist long on a college campus, if not.

Not a bad place, great chicken, very fresh, juicy and overall great. But the flavors aren’t the best… Some bland

Not bad! The delivery was expected to be long so i ordered ahead of time, the boneless wings I ordered was still hot and very flavorful and surprisingly want dry which i expected. I got two flavors, Jamaican jerk and citrus chipotle. The citrus chipotle was my flavor of the day ;) Would def order from this place again!

Heard a lot of great things about Wings Over(in Massachusetts and Connecticut) so I was excited to finally be able to try one. Eh. It was okay. The place is literally tiny. Just a counter to order from and a refrigerator to grab a drink. The service was really slow and there’s nowhere to sit down. Not one chair inside, nor were there any tables and chairs outside. It would have been a much better experience if they at least put a few plastic tables outside. Other business in the area had some. I understand it is a to-go/delivery place but if you want some walk-in patrons then set up some tables! I ordered the«Red Alert» buffalo wings — boneless. Love that they have boneless because I am not a fan of leg/thigh pieces — decently spicy. If you like heat but still want flavor, this is the best option! — good portion. I couldn’t finish the entire thing so I took some home for leftovers! Going up to Boston in a few weeks, and will be stopping at that location. Hoping for a better experience.

We used to have a Wings over Amherst when I was in college, so I was pretty excited to discover a Wings Over here. They absolutely have the best flavors and best made boneless wings I’ve ever had. My favorite is the Jamaican Jerk. The batter is not too thick and oh so flavorful. It really compliments the piping hot juicy chicken. I also loved the waffle fries and the ribs, though the latter can be a bit stale at times. It may be pricey, but you get what you are paying for. They take quite some time to prepare, so definitely call ahead before you go pick up.

So I just ordered from this place. I got the spicy garlic and Cajun teriyaki boneless wings. They were pretty good, definitely juicy. Also I got the waffle fries with the parm garlic seasoning which was okay. Should’ve gotten a different seasoning! The reason why I’m giving it a 2 stars is because when they delivered it to me, I got no napkins or plastic utensils with my order. Also they forget to give me the blue cheese and ranch I asked for! HOWDOYOUEATWINGSWITHOUTBLUECHEESE? I got it delivered to the library so I had no access to any utensils or napkins which ruined the experience. That is why they get 2 stars.

This is the best wing place around Rutgers. HOWEVER, they have the terrible service. I ordered from this place about 6 times Not really a god delivery experience: we had to wait for more than an hour and then the delivery guy couldn’t find our place. I got a free coupon of ½ LB of boneless wing, because of this though. But the coupon was worthless. First time I ordered for delivery with this coupon, the phone lady did not say anything about it. But they charged it without saying that the coupon was only for take out(?)… huh? The phone lady is very RUDE and DEAF. She doesn’t understand single word I speak. I told my cellphone number repeatedly, and she doesn’t get it. So I pronounced clear and loud and she thought I was yelling at her and she yelled me back If you prefer the late delivery and bad customer service, go for it :)
