Not bad. For the ~$ 50 price tag, we had a relatively enjoyable stay with no major issues or problems. The location is extremely convenient(close to all the shopping with a CVS right next door) and a hope, skip and jump away from Stamford. We stayed here as a cheaper alternative to being in the actual city for an episode of the Maury Show. The desk clerks were friendly enough and the room was pretty spacious. We winded up in one of those upper floor end rooms next to the staircase so if anything, it was a little irritating hearing everyone’s conversations in the stair wells but whatevs. Everything was stain free and the wifi worked like a cinch: no bed bugs or eight legged wonders. Which leads me to my only serious complaint. The dust. Generally I’m pretty chill when it comes to lodging accommodations. A little dust, must or smoke doesn’t steer me away from a good deal. However the dust was overwhelming. And by dust, I actually mean ginormous cobwebs the size of Texas. The hubby quite literally spent a good 25 minutes cleaning them from the ceilings, walls and flooring simply because I found them absolutely unnerving(anything that resembles spider webs kinda freak me out). Even for a fifty dollar stay, that was pretty unacceptable. Also, the bathroom set-up in this particular room was. creepy. Everything was clean however it was. dark. And surprisingly, there was no bathtub but a stand in shower kinda wedged between two walls in a corner nook. Bizarre. So basically, minus the cobwebs, it wasn’t terrible. The price was right and the location prime for everything in the area or beyond.(It was like a quick 15 minute drive to the show.) Should I wind up in the area for another show, I’m open to exploring other options but I wouldn’t mind staying here again either. only this time I’m makin’ house cleaning do the dirty work.

You get what you pay for. I paid about $ 55 a night to stay here, a few days leading up to a friends wedding. It was close to her house and thus convenient. But the ups really stopped there. The hotel is on the new side, but it’s very clean. The bathtub especially was not the color is should have been, and I always wished that I had shower shoes with me. It was also inexplicably freezing in the room all the time. Even if we turned off the AC(in June), it was freezing at night. Not only that, because the top blanket was a bit gross, there wasn’t much to cover ourselves with. Both my husband and I got sick while staying here. We have no proof that it was the room that did it, but we always felt MUCH better right after we opened the door to leave the room. Although they say they have free wifi, I could never figure out how to connect to it. Basically, I recommend that you do not stay here. The only reason for the 2nd star is the price. Yes, it’s cheap. But stay at your own risk.
