Super 8 New Castle

I made a reservation at Red Roof Inn, flew in from Mexico and could NOT figure out how to get IN the parking lot from the other hotels, I drove back to U of Delaware, trying to get a closer hotel, no luck, drove BACK trying to find the Red Roof Inn where I had mad a reservation, no luck and from sheer exhaustion, saw this and said, «This is it, I can go on no more…» and luck was on my side. The family that runs this establishment — AWESOME. The Motel 8 was perfectly neat, clean, and comfortable and accommodating to everything I needed even when I was exhausted, EXHAUSTED — loved this experience and even a simple breakfast of juice and toast — the the friendliness of the owners and their family — PERFECT.

perfect for what it is, a clean motel along a busy road close to where i needed to be. the rate was where it should be, the beds were clean and new (just as pictured), bathrooms clean, all around good value. only complaints are the free breakfast ends at 9 AM which is way too early, and a firehouse is next door which went off 3 times in the afternoon but luckily not once at night so sleeping was fine.
all in all, perfect for exactly what it should be, a simple, clean short stay at a motel., free wifi as well

Never went into the hotel as I was scared out of my mind by the kind of people hanging out in the parking lot and lobby of the Super 8 Motel. It was 11 pm. They appeared to be drug dealers, thugs and prostitutes. I was afraid to leave my car in the parking lot as I thought it would get broken into. When I looked at the other cars in the full lot, people were inside them. It was very strange and I couldn’t drive away fast enough.

This Super 8 is a four story motel, that could easily pass for a hotel hotel with a more upscale name. Its one of the nicest Super 8’s Ive stayed in, and I’ve stayed in many all up and down the east coast. Clean attractive rooms, prompt courteous service, and a nice complimentary continental breakfast, all at the affordable Super 8 price! I recommend this place to anyone who needs a nice place to stay in this area!

I filled out an online survey about our stay at Super 8 and someone actually read it and responded and said they were crediting my credit card for the full amount of our stay. I was quite surprised at the offer plus their sincere thanks for the feedback. Customer service is alive and well at Super 8.
