Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

Forgetting that the doughnuts were cold and hard, the manager treated me extremely poorly. Will never return to this Krispy Kreme location.

Meh. I received a punch-​card from a Krispy Kreme in NJ, where you can get a free dozen of original glazed after buying 5 dozens of any variety. They said it could be used in the entire Philadelphia region that covers PA, NJ, and DE. I had them all punched out, and took the card to this Krispy Kreme here in DE to get the last one for my free dozen. The cashier takes it, punches the hole, stashes the card, and hands me a little baggie with just three doughnuts. He called it a «blessing.» What a rip off! Customer service asked me for a phone number and they didn’t even call me back. I’ll think twice about coming back here.
Update: They contacted me via email to apologize about having technical difficulties in their email reception. So they called and left me a message during my work-​hours. I explained to them (via email) that I do not have reception due to working on a military aircraft, and I gave them my reachable hours. They sounded adamant about discussing the issue, so I told them to email me. They emailed me just to tell me to call them, yet again during hours I’ve already indicated being unavailable. Very insincere management here. I love Krispy Kreme, but I won’t be coming back to this one.

Wished that the hot donuts sign was lit when we entered the place. Not to worry, we still left with a super fresh dozen. We were about to text KRISPY to 81 680 to get a free donut but the awesome gentleman behind the counter said we didn’t have to and gave them to us anyway LOVE this place and these donuts!

What a beautiful sight to watch doughnuts being made. This is a great place for ooohing and aaahing while doughnuts are being made. The peach cobbler doughnut was pleasantly delicious. If u sign up for text alerts. You get a free doughnut

I remember having Krispy Kreme years ago in Northern NJ and New York City. Then I moved to Delaware and didn’t see another one until this store opened in Airport Plaza. I’m not sure the donuts themselves are all that special, but you can view the kitchen from the dining area and it is amazing to watch the endless procession of donuts coming out from the donut-​making machine on the conveyor belt. Instead of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, it’s like Donald and the Donut Factory. This Krispy Kreme location keeps some pretty late hours but after a certain time, you can only order at the drive thru.

At this place, yeast donuts are just ok, but cake donuts are awful.
Usually we only go for the originals, but they had cake donuts coming off the line and the employee was walking around advertising them, so we decided to buy a couple. They were undercooked and a distinct ring of grease that sipped in a quarter way into the donut! Clearly the oil was not hot enough to properly cook the donut.
I asked the manager to take a look at them. He was completely unfazed and said that that is exactly how they look and that is why they are 400 calories and walked away with a smirk. So this means they either have complete disdain for their customers or are completely ignorant about how to a make a good donut. Neither option looks very good.

Their donuts are pretty yummy when fresh made. I have only had their original glaze but I’m excited to sample more of their flavors. I have to say I can’t have more than one bc they’re very sweet! Just keep that in mind.

* Vanilla Cream filled Glazed = (4.5) Very Good
* Halloween Donuts w. Marshmallow filing = (3.5) good, but I like the Vanilla Cream filling better;)lol
* Chocolate Iced Football w. vanilla cream = (3.5) good
* Powdered Chocolate Cream filled = (3) ok
SO-​SO SERVICE: They had (6) people behind the counter, but only one of them was doing anything, the other five just stood around talking… occasionally they would look over, only to turnaround to keep talking again… so sadly with only one person handling the Donuts, the Coffee & the Register, it took about (10) minutes per person to get served… NOT good:(

Krispy Kreme doughnuts at 2am? Sure, why not? While traveling from NYC to DE/​MD, my girlfriends saw the doughnut shop open on the other side of the highway and of course busts a U-​turn just to reach her heavenly desserts. They were giddy with joy and it was amusing just to see their reactions while taking their time to order whatever they’re craving for.
Me? I just ordered a plain glaze. Can’t be the only one not ordering now. Luckily, they’re open until 5:30am and after a certain time, you can only get it through the drive thru.
Four doughnuts later, my friends were happy and back on the road towards Delaware/​Maryland. Definitely will satisfy your sweet cravings. But if you eat it too late in the night, you’re going to end up regretting it and feeling fat.

Heaven! Heaven! Heaven! Clean, fast and great staff! Love their selection of donuts. Always a great afternoon treat!

Did not have any original ones, because who goes there for anything but original? The guy was like «uhhh we’ll make them again at 5pm» not helpful when I am there now.

Hey! Its a new location and its a great product. Love Krispy Kreme doughnuts. The kids enjoyed seeing the baking process in the store. We were just passing thru and stopped for a snack to take home.

Brought my family here for a quick treat before we hit the beaches in rehobeth. The customer service was exceptional and the doughnuts were even better. Our family will be making this Krispy Kreme a part of our yearly beach routine! We love KK!

Love the hot fresh donuts watching them come off of the belt under the glaze water fall gets my mouth all watery.
Customer service is friendly and helpful the place is clean and new.
Great selection wide variety of classic and new donuts.
Watch out when the hot light comes on line forms quickly but hey who can’t resist the tempting lure of a hot Krispy Kreme donut, this guy that’s who.
