Stayed here the beginning of February, and had a decent time. Stayed 2 nights, room in building 5. First room I was in, the refrigerator wasn’t getting cold, so was switched to another room, fine. Bed was comfy,(older décor but whatever, room was clean). Staff was nice enough, no attitudes or sourness. Markets and restaurants around, but found out quick, a car would be a help if you are staying here,(no sidewalks along the highway and walking in wet grass to get to places wasn’t fun). I’d stay here again, but would have a car.

I wouldn’t even give a star. I travel for work and this is by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. The rooms are nasty and outdated, the staff was rude, no water in the pool. The pictures show the front of the building that looks nice but the hotel looks like you in the projects. This place is BAD!

Where to begin? Dirty rooms, rude staff, probably bed bugs. Upon arriving at this motel(the doors to the rooms are on the outside), we realized our room was rather dirty. The roll of toilet paper hanging next to the toilet was WET(how does that even happen??), the comforters on the bed were disgusting(stained, ragged), the carpet has clearly not been vacuumed for days if not weeks, black mold in the shower, OTHERPEOPLE’S BODYHAIR all over the bathroom floor, and when we tried checking for bed bugs, we were unable to look at the mattresses because of their cover, but my sheets had a couple small red stains on them. In general, this place was not only outdated and dingy but it was GROSS. Naturally, we asked the front desk if there was anything they could do to help rectify this situation. They were unable to move us because the hotel was full. They promised that they would send someone over to clean the room(especially to change the sheets) while we were at dinner. When we got back we discovered that they definitely did not clean the room. Someone came in and dropped off some more towels, change the TP roll, and picked up the gross comforter I moved to the corner. They definitely did not change the sheets. The stains we found from before were still there. We were not happy about this and called the front desk. The«manager» on duty was very rude and dismissive. He claimed there was nothing he could do to help us.(Really? SENDSOMEONETOCHANGETHEDAMNSHEETS.) We then asked for the corporate number. He told us to come to front desk if we want it. So we walked all the way to the front office and he sat at his desk and pointed to a pile of cards. The card didn’t even have any helpful information. When we called the number HEPICKEDUP. My mom asked for the voicemail of the general manager and the front desk guy said NO and HUNGUPONHER. At one point he also claimed that since they were fully booked today, that they didn’t have enough staff«to make sure the room was ready for us.» We tried calling a variety of Choice Hotel numbers, but none of them answer anything outside of business hours. We emailed the general manager. So far, no response. This place is a craphole. STAYAWAY!

This is the worst place ever. The conditions are deplorable. No choice on television. Room is shoddy. Check in was poor

I stayed here for a few days when we moved from PA to Delaware(the electric in our new home wasn’t connected yet so we opted for a hotel room). The rooms were very clean and neat. The beds were decent sized and comfortable but the pillows were kind of small for my liking. You need a few of them for a decent sleep. The towels were kind of thin and we had to ask for more which they brought right to us. We swore if we ever needed a room again, we’d come back based on such a good experience. Until we tried to stay there again a few months later after a really severe thunderstorm knocked out the power in Delaware City(where I live) and was going to be out for awhile. So we went back to the Quality Inn and behold! They were not going to let us stay because they do not rent rooms to Delaware(New Castle County) residents! I have never heard of such a ridiculous rule.(When we explained our situation to the manager the fact that we had stayed before during our move, they finally relented and rented us a room for the night so we could enjoy air conditioning and television. Evidently the odd rule has to do with hookers and kids(local) renting the rooms to party and then leaving them a mess. So if you’re a local… you can’t get a room at the Quality Inn. It’s only for true«out of towners». Wow!

Stayed here overnight for a local conference. I chose this location due to its location next to the airport, and due to the cost.(They offer a AAA discount too.) The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. It certainly was not a «5-star» room, but I wasn’t expecting that either. There was a fridge and microwave, and the king size bed was comfortable. The pillows were rather small, though. Four pillows on the bed, but each was only about half the size of a standard pillow. I can see how this could create some interesting competition between spouses who like their pillows. The HVAC worked fine in my room. It wasn’t loud or obnoxious, and it did offer a «constant on» position. Not everyone likes that, but for me, it adds a bit of white noise to soften any other noises that might be nearby. There were no huge swings of temperature either. I set the room to my comfort level, and it stayed there all night. The bathroom was clean, although that was the area that I had the most nits to pick. As with most budget motels, the towels were fairly small and thin. While the shower head put out a nice stream of water, the bathtub drained fairly slowly, so I stood in water while I was showering, and the hot water fluctuated in temperature quite a bit during a shower, going from scalding to cold several times. Also, the toilet seemed to be someone lower(and smaller) than most. All in all it was a decent stay, and I would not hesitate to stay here again.
