This place is quality. I’m no great connoisseur of barbecue, but I know what I like. The meat is tender, has a charred, smoky quality. The sauce is just unbelievable, earthy, spicy, tangy, rich. Sweet potato pie was the first I’d ever had, and delicious. Only knock on the experience is that they were out of the first three things I tried to order, but I understand that means they’re into cooking, not micromanaging their stock or conducting market surveys. Highly recommend.
